Chapter 73: Billionaire Daughter

Olivia's Pov

My mind raced as I kept calling Davis to know if Emily was okay. Rebbeca and I were sitting on the couch comfortably. “But what made her get into a fight with Jackson's daughter?” Rebbeca asked.

“Who is this Jackson you guys are talking about?” I asked.

“Ohhh, you have no idea, Jackson once worked under Davis, his wealth and all he has today was because of the help of Davis.” Rebbeca said,

“And he still did all of that, how dare he.” I said.

“I'm shocked he said he doesn't know Davis.” Rebbeca said.

We sat there, hoping Emily was okay. “I guess Davis should be there now.”

Rebbeca's phone rang and she stood up to pick the call. I could see her smiling as she was talking to whoever it was over the phone.

After a while she came back still smiling. “And what's with that smile on your face?” I asked.

“Was I smiling?” She asked, touching her cheeks.

“Obviously you are,” I said, handing her a mini mirror.

She rolled her eyes. “Oh wow, I had no idea I was smiling.”

“Now you know you were, who was that? Your boyfriend?” I asked.

“Boyfriend? Nah he's just my friend.” She said, still smiling.

I smiled. “Just friend? You know it's surprising that this male friend of yours is making you smile this way.”

“Can you just stop it, well his name is Eric and since childhood we've been friends, we lost contact all these years and we luckily came across each other a week back. I was so happy to see him.” Rebbeca said.

“Do you like this guy?” I asked, curiously.

She laughed. “Like? No way, this is my childhood friend you're talking about, we're best friends and I can't ruin that friendship.”

“Do you think being in a relationship with him will ruin your friendship?” I asked.

“Yes dear, If we break up, it's over. I can't do that.” she said.

“But it's obvious you like him.” I said, my gaze fixed on her.

“Alright, I think I can't deny that anymore.” She said, raising her eyebrow.

“So does he feel the same way or is it just you?” I asked.

“I don't know about him, I don't think he does feel the same way I do. He might get mad if he finds out that I'm in love with him.” She said, frowning hee face. “Well let's forget about that for now, Davis just sent me a message that he's at Emily's school now and everything is okay.”

I sighed. “That's a relief at least.”

“Yeah, thank goodness, I was worried.” She said,

There was a pause as we sat there in silence. After a while, Rebbeca spoke up. “Olivia, I wanted to ask, when are you and Davis planning on getting married?”

I didn't expect that question from her and I didn't know what to reply.

“You know I just feel since you both love each other so much there is no point delaying marriage.” She said,

“I know right, but we are enjoying the love even without marriage and that's what matters.” I said.

“Are you saying you're enjoying love without marriage?” Rebbeca asked.

“Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. That's all that matters.” I said.

“Well you should better get married to him before some girls snatch him away from you.” Rebbeca said.

I knew she was making sense. I nodded. “I will see to that.”

“Well while we are waiting for Davis to get back, what plan do you have for today?” Rebecca asked.

“Nothing really, you and I know I don't have friends.” I said.

“What if we go to Eric's party tonight?” Rebbeca asked,

“Eric's party? What if Davis comes back tonight?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes. “Does he have a problem if you go out for parties?”

“Not at all.” I replied.

Emily's Pov

Tiffany didn't expect that my father was that rich. “Maybe next time you should reduce your level of pride.”

“And who told you I'm being proud?” She said angrily.

“You are, why then do you threaten students you will get them expelled if they ever cross you just because your father invested a lot in this school. Your father can take all the investment and this school will be so happy to work with my Dad.” I said, I didn't know if I was being proud.

The whole school was shocked that I wasn't expelled, Tiffany's face was red with range. “Well, do you think your dad is ,qq richer, that's all he has but my dad has influence.”

“My problem with you is that you keep bragging, it wasn't long ago your Dad knelt before my dad apologizing, with a blink of an eye my Dad can bring your dad down and he will start over from the scratch.” I said,

The school was already in chaos, Everyone was recording me and Tiffany's conversation. “Yeah I'm proud to say I'm not afraid of you, I was never afraid.”

The head teacher arrived at the scene after a while. “What's going on here?”

“Nothing.” Tiffany said, putting on a fake smile.

“You know you've always been a problem in this school, now that we know who your dad really is, you can't threaten both the head of the school,” the head teacher said.

Tiffany had wanted to say something but was cut shut by him.

I was surprised when the head teacher turned to me, he said how impressed he was for me to stand up to Tiffany. “Let's talk in my office.” He said, turning to leave.

As I was about to follow him, Vivian held my hands. “Meet me in the class when you're done with him.”

The students began to part ways.

I nodded before following him. “Hey, so Davis is your father huh?” He asked.

“Yes.” I replied.

“Alright, you know I heard about what happened to your mother while you were growing up, it must have been difficult for your Dad to raise you all by himself.” He said.

I smiled. “Well, I was also raised by my second mom.”

“Second mom?” He asked, confused.

I smiled. “Yes, second mom.”

“Well I called you here to thank you again for speaking up. It takes a lot of courage to do that, the school is really proud of you.” He said.

I smiled. I left the classroom after a while.
Entering the class, I was applauded. The students who once saw me as an introvert. “So why were you acting like you came from a poor family when you came to this school, nobody knew your father was a billionaire.” One of the girls said.

I ignored the question as I went straight to sit on my chair. Vivian was sitting next to me. Most of the girls wanted to get close to me. Tiffany's friends were already leaving her. “Are you seriously going?” She said to one of her friends walking in my direction.

“Of course I'm leaving, I'm done with all your drama.” Her friend replied.

“All of a sudden you're done huh? Is it because of Emily?” She asked.

Tiffany was disappointed. Most of her friends left her. I felt bad for her.
