Chapter 105 Spare His Life

Everyone turned to look at Fergus again.

Right now, the shock was off the charts!

Fergus not only showed off in front of the two Grand Masters but also had the guts to talk big in front of Aria and Eric. Death might be the least of his worries!

Master Thunder's lips quivered, his whole body shaking with rage.

Master Dusk squinted, looking like he wanted to kill Fergus with just his stare.

"No more bidding," Aria said with a half-smile, "You're so loaded, I can't keep up. I'm out, see ya!"

With that, she left without a second thought.

Of course, no one believed Aria was really leaving. Anything she wanted, she got. She was probably waiting outside, ready to pounce.

"I like showing off, and I like people who show off, but I don't like people who show off more than me," Eric said, waving his fan and turning to leave. "I thought about taking you under my wing, but now it seems pointless. I'll be waiting for you outside!"

He turned and left too.

Master Dusk followed him.

Paul thought for a moment, then quietly slipped away. After a few steps, seeing Fergus didn't stop him, he bolted.

Fergus let him go on purpose; Paul's part was done. He stretched out his hand and said, "Hurry up and swipe the card, give me the Night Pearl!"

With the Night Pearl, he could go back and change Violet's fate, and he couldn't let Tyler take the credit.

Jennifer gritted her teeth, fuming. Today there was supposed to be a showdown between Aria and Eric, a story for the ages at the Treasure Pavilion. Who would've thought Fergus would crash the auction and steal the spotlight?

This was bad for the Treasure Pavilion!

She snapped, "I really admire your guts. You're on the brink of death and still clueless. Do you know what's waiting for you once you step out of the Treasure Pavilion?"

The staff had already come to swipe the card.

Fergus swiped the card and replied, "If I don't leave, should I stay here overnight with you?"

"You!" Jennifer was so mad she was about to blow up. "You're really a scoundrel. You want me to stay with you? Dream on! Even if you were the last man on earth, I wouldn't be interested in you!"

If it weren't for her status, she would've slapped Fergus hard!

Fergus grinned, "What a coincidence, I'm not interested in you either. Goodbye!"

He pocketed the Night Pearl and turned to leave.

Seeing him move, everyone followed, eager to see how Fergus would beg for mercy today!

A large group of people went out, looking like Fergus was leading an army.

Just after everyone left, there was a sound, and the door of the central box opened. A girl in a wheelchair was slowly pushed out by an elderly woman.

The girl had delicate features, a high nose bridge, and was at least ten times more beautiful than Jennifer. Wherever she went, she would be considered a top beauty.

However, her face was as pale as paper, her long hair like dry grass, and her eyes seemed to be covered with a thin layer of mist, carrying a bit of melancholy.

If Aria and Eric were there, they might recognize her as Aurora Rivera, the eldest daughter of the Treasure Pavilion, where treasures from all over the world gathered!

"Ms. Rivera!" Jennifer saw her and quickly ran over, bowing. "I deserve to die for not completing the task you gave me. I am willing to bear all consequences."

Actually, there was a small item after the Night Pearl, not pricey but super important because it had vital energy!

If someone could recognize this treasure, they might cure Aurora's illness!

Aurora coughed, not blaming Jennifer, and smiled bitterly, "It's not your fault, it's probably fate."

She paused and then said, "Go out and see if you can save Fergus's life at the moment of life and death."

Jennifer was stunned, totally puzzled. Fergus was just a jerk, why would Aurora want to save him? Fergus should die!

But seeing Aurora's expression, Jennifer didn't dare to ask more and quickly left.

The elderly woman pushing Aurora finally spoke, "Ms. Rivera, don't lose hope. Although we've visited most of the Treasure Pavilion branches across the country and no one recognized the vital energy, the Annual Witchcraft Conference is in two days. There will be many powerful people, and someone will surely cure you!"

They had indeed visited too many places, and the Witchcraft Conference was the last chance. If no one could cure her, then there would be no hope left.

Aurora shook her head and smiled faintly, "Vida, do you think this Fergus is my fiancé?"

Vida also shook her head. "It can't be him, just the same name. Your fiancé must have extraordinary abilities and qualities, with a grand vision. In contrast, this Fergus is frivolous and lacks demeanor. If it weren't for you considering his name, Fergus would have died a miserable death today. How could it be him?"

Aurora nodded. "You're right, just a coincidence. Push me to rest."

Meanwhile, Fergus walked out the door.

He was amused by the scene outside. He asked lightly, "Are you all waiting for me?"

In front of him, a dense crowd of people was divided into three groups.

Eric with Master Dusk and Paul.

Aria with Master Thunder.

And another group of at least a hundred people, holding sticks, led by Colin and his father, Jace Lawson!

"Not just them, but me too!" A voice sounded behind Fergus.

Mr. Fisher stepped forward, standing in front of Fergus, and said coldly, "Fergus, you've had your moment today, but it's time for retribution. With all these big shots here, I won't take your life. How about this, kneel down to me, and we'll call it even!"

If he didn't step up now, there would be no place to vent his anger when Fergus was dead.

Fergus casually slapped him. "Idiot, you're not worthy of shouting here!"

Mr. Fisher was slapped back three steps, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his eyes wide with anger. "If it weren't for the big bosses calling the shots on your life, I'd snap your neck right now!"

Fergus couldn't be bothered with him. He looked at the crowd ahead and said calmly, "I'm a reasonable person. An auction is about money. If you had more money and won, I wouldn't have any complaints, nor would I ambush you at the door."

Everyone sneered. Was it possible to talk reason now?

Fergus changed his tone. "But if you don't want to be reasonable, that's fine. I'll take on any means. Want to fight? Then all of you come at me together, I'm in a hurry!"

Hearing this, everyone doubted they had misheard. He showed off in the Treasure Pavilion because it protected him, but now, he still dared to show off?

At this moment, Jennifer appeared beside Fergus, saying coldly, "I really want to pry open your head and see what's inside! Fergus, you're lucky today, but only this once!"

Jennifer spoke, looking ahead, "Ms. Rivera has ordered to spare his life!"
