Chapter 118 Treated by Him

Fergus didn't put up a fight. He just stared at the pocket watch, his eyes tracking it back and forth.

Dr. Reed noticed he was following along and smirked to himself. There was no escape. Once he followed his lead, he was trapped in the hypnotic spell.

He started speaking slowly, "From now on, your whole body will start to relax, starting with your feet, then your legs, and slowly moving to your internal organs."

The entire Sky Palace went dead silent, everyone watching intently.

Tyler crossed his arms, a mocking grin on his face, and whispered, "Ms. Gray, soon you'll see Fergus's true colors and realize how silly it is to believe his nonsense!"

Once Fergus was under, and Dr. Reed made him spout some gibberish, Fergus would lose all credibility with Violet. Then, Tyler could do whatever he wanted!

Violet frowned a bit, not really focusing on the scene, but Tyler's words felt slimy, like a snake who thought he'd won. She started to question why she ever chose him as a partner.

Adrian Scott, with his determined look, watched quietly too. He'd heard about hypnosis therapy and knew Ms. Gray had a session yesterday, but this was his first time seeing it in action!

Dr. Reed kept guiding, "Now, you're walking into an endless grassland, with thousands of horses galloping, and you're a dog among them, a completely black, tongue-lolling pug. Then, you see a horse, and you want to jump up and ride it, but the horse kicks you away. You're in pain, a lot of pain."

The Sky Palace was filled only with Dr. Reed's voice.

Dr. Reed's tone suddenly got intense. He stared hard into Fergus's eyes and said urgently, "You're in so much pain that your internal organs are trembling. You're rolling on the ground, suffering severe pain, and you feel like your whole body is burning. You must keep barking!"

"Bark!" As he said the last word, he suddenly put away the pocket watch.

Almost at the same time, the villa was filled with barking and people screaming.

Then they saw the dozen or so sentries who had just broken in through the window all lying on the ground, rolling in pain, with a few even barking like dogs!

Clearly, they had been hypnotized!

Adrian also let out a bark, then shook his head and snapped out of it. Looking at his men on the ground, his face was full of shock. Hypnosis was this powerful?

He had almost been hypnotized!

Violet was also startled. Yesterday, Dr. Reed had only done mild hypnosis on her, but now he was showing his true skills!

She gritted her teeth and said, "Dr. Reed is very talented!"

Tyler smirked arrogantly, "Of course, if Dr. Reed weren't highly skilled, how could I have let him treat you?"

He continued, "Ms. Gray, to be blunt, if it weren't for this jerk causing trouble today, you might never have realized what kind of person I brought to treat you! Because I'm the kind of person who likes to act, not talk!"

He wouldn't miss any chance to impress Violet.

Violet looked at him and smiled, "Mr. Shaw, you're very considerate. Thank you."

As Violet spoke, she looked ahead and was surprised to find that Fergus was still standing there, not barking like the others!

Tyler also noticed this and was slightly taken aback. Annoyed, he asked, "Dr. Reed, what's going on? Why hasn't he started barking yet?"

Dr. Reed was also puzzled. By all accounts, the hypnosis should have worked, and Fergus should have been barking like a dog. Why wasn't he moving?

He raised his hand and said, "Chill out! Hypnosis is basically mental therapy, and it works differently on everyone depending on their mental toughness. Fergus has the guts to deceive Ms. Gray, so his mental resilience must be off the charts. I underestimated him."

Dr. Reed's tone shifted, and he grinned, "But no worries. Fergus is in a state of confusion now. Just a bit more guidance, and he'll be barking like a dog!"

He pulled out the pocket watch again, waving it in front of Fergus, and said firmly, "Tell me, what are you?"

Adrian quickly looked away, remembering the power of hypnosis and not wanting to get caught up in it again!

Tyler whipped out his phone, ready to record and show Jessica and Sophia what their ex-fiancé had turned into!

Violet felt a sudden pang of heartache.

Fergus replied calmly, "I'm your dad!"

Everyone was stunned.

Before anyone could react, Fergus snatched the pocket watch, held it up, and placed it in front of Dr. Reed's eyes, saying, "From now on, you are my son."

He commanded, "Kneel!"

Dr. Reed didn't resist, his knees buckling as he knelt on the ground, looking up and sincerely calling out, "Dad!"

Adrian was utterly shocked. Fergus had flipped the script and hypnotized Dr. Reed?

Violet's eyes widened in disbelief. Could this guy really know medical skills?

Tyler was dumbfounded. How was this even possible?

Snapping out of it like he'd been electrocuted, Tyler shouted, "Dr. Reed, what are you doing? Fergus, what kind of dark magic are you using? Snap Dr. Reed out of it!"

Tyler's scalp tingled. He had planned to have Dr. Reed humiliate Fergus, but now they were the ones being humiliated!

Fergus slowly turned his head and asked coldly, "Why is it that when Dr. Reed uses it, it's called hypnosis, but when I use it, it's dark magic?"

Tyler was speechless.

Fergus looked at Violet and smiled warmly, "I didn't lie to you. When it comes to medical skills, no one is more skilled than I am!"

Hearing this, Violet felt a warmth in her heart. His smile felt like a breath of fresh spring air, making her feel very comfortable.

She asked, "So, you know hypnosis, right?"

"More or less," Fergus replied. What he used wasn't exactly hypnosis; it was more like a form of witchcraft, which was a thousand times more powerful than hypnosis.

Tyler's eyes darted around, and he quickly said, "That's it, Ms. Gray. This man is sinister. He clearly knows hypnosis but claimed he didn't, just to show off in front of you. He's malicious! Such a scheming person doesn't deserve to be in your presence. Mr. Scott, deal with him immediately!"

He couldn't give Fergus any chance to speak, not even a little.

Adrian also looked at Fergus coldly, ready to act at any moment. He loathed Fergus's pretending.

Adrian had heard that Fergus was good at combat and wanted to fight with him!

Violet looked at Fergus and was silent for a good ten seconds before saying, "I don't see it that way. It's wise to keep your cards close to your chest. Being too flamboyant is unappealing!
