Chapter 93 Who Are You
Right then, Tyler turned on Thomas without a second thought.
"I get it, you don't have to spell it out!" Fergus snapped, then headed over to Jessica and untied her.
Jessica couldn't hold it in anymore. She threw herself at Fergus, sobbing uncontrollably. She was terrified. If she didn't know that biting her tongue wouldn't kill her, she might've considered it!
Fergus stiffened up from Jessica's hug. He wanted to push her away, but given the situation, he thought it would be too cold, so he stayed put.
He gently reassured her, "It's all over now. They were after me, so I'm sorry!"
He wasn't about to dodge the blame.
Jessica's crying got louder. It was her first time being kidnapped. After another ten seconds of crying, she rolled her eyes and passed out.
Fergus set Jessica down gently, then slowly walked over to Tyler.
"No!" Tyler's mind flashed back to the wedding day, and he was so scared he wet himself. He kept pleading, "It was all Thomas' orders. I had nothing to do with it. Everything I said was what Thomas told me to say. Please don't kill me. I was wrong!"
Fergus sneered. "You're not worth dirtying my hands over. Besides, letting you live is more fun!"
Seeing Fergus' eyes, Tyler felt like he was staring death in the face. He had a bad feeling and stammered, "What are you gonna do? I was wrong!"
Fergus knocked him out with a kick.
Ten minutes later, Fergus carried Jessica out of the yard. Colin had been waiting outside, but by the time they came out, he was gone. He must've bolted to avoid trouble.
The place was still a ways from the city.
Fergus thought about it and decided it would be too much hassle to take Jessica back himself. Violet was still waiting, and besides, he didn't know Jessica's address.
He pulled out his phone and called Sarah to come pick her up.
Soon enough, Sarah showed up.
Sarah got out of the car, fuming. "Mr. Yost, do you know how important sleep is for a girl? If I get wrinkles from lack of sleep, will you take responsibility?"
Knowing Violet had won the bid, Sarah was even more determined to get Fergus out of the picture. Because Violet was a high-class lady, and her husband had to be a rich young master.
No matter how hard Fergus worked, he could never be good enough for Violet.
Fergus said calmly, "You still owe me a jump into the manure pit. When are you gonna pay up? There's a manure pit right here. If you jump in, you won't have to help tonight."
Sarah was so mad her eyes almost popped out, but she couldn't argue. She gritted her teeth and said, "Put Jessica in the car, I'll take her!"
She silently added to herself, "And take her to a hotel!"
Fergus didn't say anything else. He laid Jessica flat in the back seat and was about to get in the passenger seat when Sarah suddenly hit the gas and drove off.
"Crazy woman!" Fergus muttered, then turned to look at the farmhouse. His eyes lit up, and he walked back in.
Five minutes later, he came out.
Meanwhile, Thomas was fuming, totally caught off guard by Fergus not going to the State Capital. "Ask Tyler what's going on. Why haven't we heard anything about Fergus?"
"Yeah, I'll ask right away!" Logan was sweating bullets. If this went south, Thomas would break his limbs. He quickly pulled out his phone to call Tyler, but just as he did, the phone rang. It was Tyler.
"It's a message from him!" Logan said, excited. He opened his phone and found a video. He grinned. "Mr. Zimmerman, Tyler sent a video. He's still reliable!"
He thought the video was of Tyler dealing with Jessica and was kind of looking forward to it.
"Give it to me!" Thomas snatched the phone and opened the video.
As soon as he did, a gut-wrenching scream came from the video.
"This..." Thomas' face went pale with fright at the scene.
Logan sneered. "Tyler must be worried that Fergus isn't cooperating, so he used some harsh methods. Mr. Zimmerman, rest assured, we're your sharpest spear against your enemies, loyal to you!"
"It's Thomas, it was all Thomas's orders. Let me go, please let me go, I beg you!" Tyler's screams came from the phone again.
Logan trembled all over, almost wetting himself.
He immediately looked at the phone.
But when he saw the scene, he was stunned.
Tyler was tied to a chair, completely exposed.
There were countless ants at Tyler's feet. If they had a fear of clusters, they would faint on the spot.
These ants crawled up Tyler's legs, stopping at his privates.
It was already bloody.
"Tyler!" Logan screamed in terror and rushed out without caring about anything else.
Thomas' hand trembled, and the phone fell. His heart pounded wildly. Suddenly, he felt that compared to Tyler, John's fate was better.
Then Thomas shook his head and snarled, "Fergus, I will tear you to pieces!"
Fergus headed straight back to Sky Palace.
At the foot of the mountain, he saw that the lights of Sky Palace were off, and he felt a pang of disappointment.
"Could Violet have fallen asleep waiting?" Thinking of this, Fergus hurried his steps, but halfway up, he felt something was off.
He sniffed the air. There was a scent of death on the mountain.
Fergus quickened his pace and arrived at the front of Sky Palace. He saw a bodyguard lying outside the door and was startled. This was Violet's bodyguard.
With a solemn expression, he didn't hesitate any longer and rushed into the villa, heading straight to Violet's bedroom. He saw Violet lying on the floor.
At that moment, Fergus felt like he was struck by lightning. His vision darkened, and he almost fell. He rushed over, held Violet, and tremblingly checked her pulse.
There was still a pulse. But it was very weak.
Fergus quickly took action to save her.
Fergus suddenly regretted it. Violet had a fate of being eternally lonely, destined to suffer misfortune at her happiest moments. Tonight, Violet had obtained the prescription, escaped an arranged marriage, received her father's praise, and was about to enjoy the pleasure of intimacy.
It was her happiest moment.
Fergus hated himself for not thinking about it.
If it weren't for the protective jade pendant, he might never see Violet again.
Fergus felt immense guilt. "Violet, from now on, I won't let you suffer any harm!" He held Violet's hand.
He slowly closed his eyes and transferred his body's energy bit by bit to Violet!
Time passed slowly. He didn't know how long it had been.
Violet's eyelids moved, and she slowly opened her eyes.
Seeing this, Fergus' eyes finally lit up. At this moment, his face was as pale as paper, even his lips had turned pale. He had transferred ninety percent of his energy to Violet, with only a little energy left.
Violet slowly opened her eyes and saw Fergus' pale face in front of her. She pushed him away and asked warily, "Who are you?"
