Chapter 107 Master Dusk Defeated
Everything went down in a blink, like a lightning bolt.
Nobody had a chance to react, not even Jennifer, who was in the hot seat!
Next thing you know, Paul, who was sprawled on the ground, let out this gut-wrenching scream. It echoed in the dark, "My hand, my leg, Master Dusk, Master Dusk!"
Paul's scream snapped everyone back to reality.
No one saw it coming—Fergus actually fought back and took Paul out!
In a heartbeat, Jace, Mr. Fisher, and the rest were scared stiff, thinking if Fergus could do that to Paul, what chance did they stand?
Aria's brow furrowed; she didn't expect Fergus to be such a badass.
"Well, this just got interesting!" Eric started fanning himself faster.
Right then, Master Dusk heard the scream. He stepped back from Master Thunder and saw Paul on the ground, shouting, "Paul!"
Paul was Master Dusk's apprentice, and now his limbs were busted. How could he train anymore? This could ruin their combat legacy!
"You little punk, you crippled my apprentice right in front of me! Do you even know what you've done?" Master Dusk's aura exploded like a shockwave, making everyone feel the pressure and hold their breath!
Yeah, Master Dusk was seriously pissed now!
"Quit your whining for a sec!" Fergus said, totally unfazed. He liked to finish one thing before starting another, just like his mentor taught him, to avoid being scatterbrained.
He turned to Jennifer, "I ask again, do you have a dog I can borrow?"
"Shameless!" Jennifer's face went pale, and she quickly stepped back, scared that Master Dusk's wrath would spill over to her when he went after Fergus.
In disbelief, she shouted, "Fergus, do you even realize what you've done? That's Paul, Master Dusk's apprentice. How could you cripple him?"
Everyone was thinking the same thing. No matter how tough Fergus was, he shouldn't have messed with Paul. Master Dusk had just wanted to cripple Fergus, but now it seems he was into the idea of crippling him, healing him, and then doing it all over again!
Fergus clearly didn't give a damn!
"Why wouldn't I dare?" Fergus said coolly, "I see you like to suck up to people too."
"You!" Jennifer was shaking with rage.
"You're asking for it!" Master Dusk finally lost it, his killing intent clear as day. He walked towards Fergus, and with each step, the asphalt seemed to sink under his feet. "I've been in this game for fifty years, and no one's ever disrespected me like this! I've made up my mind, today, even if God himself tries to save you, I'll skin you alive and make you beg for death!"
Master Dusk picked up the pace.
Jace frowned and said, "He's warning Aria and Jennifer that if they try to protect Fergus, they're next. Master Dusk is livid!"
Mr. Fisher laughed, "With Master Dusk in action, who can stand against him? Today is Fergus's last day!"
Aria glanced at Master Thunder and shook her head slowly, signaling not to get involved just yet.
Eric kept fanning himself, but his face showed some concern. If Master Dusk lost control, things could get messy.
With everyone watching, Fergus stayed calm, just a bit puzzled. "Gravity Collapse?"
"You know it. Yeah, it's Gravity Collapse!" Master Dusk said as he walked, "I use this move to make you watch death come and feel the fear!"
As he spoke, he reached Fergus.
He raised his hand high, then brought it down fast, turning his palm into a claw aimed at Fergus's shoulder, ready to dig in and rip out his tendons.
The crowd buzzed with chatter.
"Don't be fooled by the speed, it's almost impossible to defend against!"
"It's not just hard to defend; it's impossible to defend against."
"This claw can tear off a person's arm!"
Master Thunder had already retreated to Aria's side and whispered, "I used to spar with Master Dusk, but tonight, he's filled with killing intent!"
Aria said slowly, "He reaps what he sows!"
Seeing Master Dusk's hand coming down, Fergus nonchalantly raised his hand to grab his wrist.
"Are you a Grand Master?" Master Dusk was surprised.
Not only him, but everyone present was also shocked. How could Fergus be a Grand Master?
"So what if you're a Grand Master, Gravity Collapse!" Master Dusk shouted, increasing the force in his hand, "I will use my claw to tear out all your tendons and bones!"
Master Dusk's arm pressed down on Fergus's hand, slowly descending towards his shoulder, seemingly using sheer force to break Fergus's defense!
The others exclaimed.
"Using brute force to suppress, Master Dusk is still formidable!"
"No wonder Fergus likes to show off, turns out he's also a Grand Master, but he met Master Dusk!"
"If Fergus had kept a low key and practised combat skills diligently, he might have been a match for Master Dusk in twenty years, but unfortunately, he doesn't know how to bide his time!"
Amidst the crowd's discussions, Master Dusk's hand was about to touch Fergus's shoulder, just a bit more, and it would have pierced the skin and pulled out Fergus's tendons!
However, it stopped, unable to go any further.
Fergus spoke calmly, "I like to return the favor, but pulling tendons is too bloody and unpleasant, so I'll just break your fingers one by one!"
As Fergus finished speaking, he raised his other hand and grabbed Master Dusk's fingers.
With a snap, one finger was broken!
"What?" The whole crowd was shocked!
They knew that at this moment, all Fergus's strength should be concentrated in one hand, and even moving the other hand would disperse his strength, leading to total defeat.
But how could Fergus still raise his other hand to break Master Dusk's fingers?
Four more snaps followed, and all of Master Dusk's fingers were broken.
Even though it happened right before their eyes, it was still hard to believe.
However, Master Dusk, worthy of being a Grand Master, didn't utter a sound despite having five fingers broken!
He roared in fury, "Go to hell!"
With his fingers gone, he quickly raised his other hand, despite the weaker strength, transforming it into an elbow strike aimed at Fergus's head.
Seeing this, Fergus swiftly stepped back with his left leg, dodging Master Dusk's attack, and using the momentum to move behind Master Dusk.
Master Dusk was terrified, knowing that exposing his back in a fight was a death sentence. He stopped his elbow strike midway, stood on one leg, leaned back, and his left foot appeared above his head, aiming at Fergus.
"You do have some skill!" Fergus smiled.
Fergus then changed his tone. "But it's far from enough. In prison, you wouldn't even rank for flattering me. Boring, I'm done playing!"
As Fergus finished speaking, he grabbed Master Dusk's ankle with both hands, lifted him into the air, and in the blink of an eye, swung him down like a bat.
Master Dusk's eyes were filled with despair. He wanted to resist but found his body completely out of control.
In terror, he pleaded, "Mr. Yost, spare me!"
But it was too late.
Fergus slammed Master Dusk's body onto the ground.
A dull thud echoed, and Master Dusk lay on the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his body convulsing uncontrollably.
