Chapter 7 Sophia Has an Appointment

Fergus thought, "Isn't this Radiant Overlord's place? How does it become her house? Maybe she's secretly with him. She looks lonely."

"This could be our home," the woman said seductively, placing her hand on Fergus's shoulder. "Handsome, go take a shower. I'll join you soon for some fun. Mwah."

It was Fergus's first time being touched by a woman, and her kiss sound almost made him lose it. He cursed Radiant Overlord for putting him in this situation.

He dashed upstairs, not because he had any ideas, but because he needed a cold shower to stifle his desire.

The woman laughed, her nightgown fluttering as she called out, "Wash up nicely and wait for me in bed."

Then her expression turned cold, and she quickly took out her phone.

Soon, four bodyguards entered the living room.

"Miss!" they greeted respectfully.

Now dressed, the woman said coldly, "Five minutes ago, a man entered the villa. He's upstairs showering!"

The bodyguards were shocked. A man in the villa? If he hurt the miss, they would pay dearly.

Bang.

They apologized in unison, "We..."

"Just this once. Since nothing happened," the woman interrupted. "Go upstairs and take him away without harm. And tell him to keep quiet."

"Yes!"

They quickly got up and rushed upstairs.

In the bathroom, Fergus heard hurried footsteps. He grabbed a towel, wrapped it around himself, and stepped out to see four bodyguards.

"Who are you?" Fergus asked coldly.

The bodyguards exchanged glances, eyes filled with killing intent. Because of him, they almost lost their lives, and the miss wanted him to keep quiet. Dead men stay silent forever.

The lead bodyguard said, "You, come with us!"

He didn't want the miss to see a bloody scene, so he planned to handle it outside.

"No time," Fergus replied casually.

"You're asking for trouble!"

The lead bodyguard threw a punch at Fergus's face. He thought letting him go outside was a mercy, but Fergus dared to resist. So, he'd be taken down on the spot!

As the bodyguard reached him, Fergus lightly kicked him, sending him tumbling down the stairs.

The remaining three bodyguards said, "Come on. We're on this!"

Bang, bang, bang.

Fergus kicked the other three down the stairs with ease.

"Well..."

The woman, waiting for news on the sofa, stood up, shocked to see the bodyguards rolling down the stairs. She knew they were top-notch!

Seeing Fergus at the top of the stairs wrapped in a towel, she cautiously asked, "Who are you? What do you want?"

Fergus felt a bit disappointed seeing her fully dressed.

Calmly, Fergus said, "Don't worry. I'm Fergus, a cellmate of Radiant Overlord. Just got out and needed a place to crash for a few days. But with you here, I'll leave tomorrow."

It was still pouring outside.

"Ryan Cox?" The woman was surprised, mentioning Radiant Overlord's name. Then she switched back to her seductive tone, saying, "So you're Ryan's friend. You should've told me earlier. I thought a thief had broken in. If I'd known, I wouldn't have made the bodyguards suffer. Handsome, you didn't hold back, did you?"

"Are you always so energetic?"

Fergus was confused. This woman was a seductress, her words dripping with temptation. Looking at the four bodyguards on the floor, he realized they must be Radiant Overlord's men.

Otherwise, given her style, she wouldn't have stayed chaste.

He walked down the stairs, grabbed the legs of the four bodyguards, and dragged them out like dead weight.

"What are you doing?" the woman asked, surprised.

"Helping them wake up faster!" Fergus clapped his hands and closed the door. As he passed by her, he said, "A friend's wife is off-limits. Don't get any ideas about me. I'll leave tomorrow!"

The woman was speechless. Watching Fergus's back, she teased, "You little rascal, don't think I don't know what you're thinking. You're trying to prove how strong you are, right? You're thinking about me!"

Fergus almost tripped and quickly returned to his room.

The woman laughed, then made a call and said seriously, "Announce to Tarynville that I'll be holding a meeting at 8 PM tomorrow to announce our new partners in Tarynville!"

As she made the call, Tarynville buzzed with excitement, unable to sleep that night.

Fergus slept comfortably until a phone call woke him up at ten!

"Sophia? How'd you get my number?" Fergus asked irritably, not wanting any more entanglements with her.

"Not important!"

Sophia's tone was icy, almost commanding, "Be at Tarynville Racetrack in half an hour!"

"Nope!"

Fergus didn't hesitate. He was annoyed by her tone and saw no need.

"What did you say?" Sophia's voice rose. As the daughter of Hayden and Tarynville's most beautiful woman, she had never been refused.

"Not going!" Fergus repeated and hung up.

But soon, she called again.

Suppressing her anger, she said, "Even if we're over, there should be an end. Consider it closure for our prenuptial agreement. I'll be waiting!"

She hung up on him, biting her lip in frustration. If not for Linda and Hayden's insistence, she wouldn't bother with him.

Hearing the call end, Fergus muttered, "Crazy," and tried to go back to sleep.

Just then, Violet Gray's voice from outside the door, followed by the door opening.

"Handsome, I heard you talking. I'm coming in."

She was still dressed in the same burgundy silk nightgown from yesterday, with a belt accentuating her curves and long, pretty legs.

She looked at Fergus with a lustful gaze. "Lift the blanket and welcome me."

Fergus felt a chill down his spine at her look, instinctively wrapping the blanket tighter, and said in despair, "Don't do this. I'm not fully awake yet."

Violet said excitedly, "Perfect, I'm not fully awake either. I'll hug you to sleep."
