Chapter 55 Scheming Fergus

"How is this possible!"

"How could it be!"

Everyone heard it with their own ears, but no one dared to believe it. After all, Kevin was on the other end, the head of the Stevens family!

Everyone pondered, 'Who is Fergus? He's just Ms. Gray's partner, a jerk who got lucky! He actually made Kevin bark like a dog? Unbelievable!'

Fergus felt a sense of familiarity when he heard Kevin bark, and he was in a great mood. After chatting for a bit more, he hung up the phone.

He casually tossed the phone to Scarlett and said indifferently, "Since you're Kevin's woman, I'll give you a chance. Be careful in the future. I'm leaving!"

As he spoke, he picked up the unconscious Jessica and was about to leave.

Scarlett's mind was in turmoil. Seeing him about to leave, she finally snapped out of it and said, "Wait!"

"Hmm?"

Fergus frowned and thought, 'Does she want to keep me here?'

She gritted her teeth and said, "Mr. Yost, I haven't kowtowed to you yet. I'll do it now!"

After saying that, she kowtowed three times loudly.

Seeing him leave, she quickly got up and warned everyone not to spread what happened tonight. If anyone did, she would destroy their entire family. After all, it involved Kevin; if words got out, the Stevens family's reputation would be ruined.

"Honey, this Fergus is just Ms. Gray's partner. Why are you so afraid of him? Even if he can fight, that was back in prison. Now that he's out, why are you still scared of him?"

Scarlett was full of confusion.

Kevin sighed silently in his heart. Scarlett didn't know what kind of people were in that prison. Not just him, but what about those foreign arms dealers? World-renowned assassins? And international financial tycoons?

Which one of them wasn't a big shot?

Who out of all those would've dared to misbehave in front of Fergus?

They all had to clean toilets for him!

If Kevin hadn't acted like a dog for him back then, he would've starved in prison!

Of course, Kevin couldn't say these things; it would ruin his image.

He said seriously, "His identity is not something you can fathom. You just need to remember that from now on, when you see him, you must be more respectful than when you see me. Whatever he asks you to do, you just do it!"

"By the way, I heard that the daughter of Tarynville's richest man is getting married tomorrow. Prepare a gift and meet him in the wedding ceremony!" In the outside, the employees looked at Fergus with reverence.

Sarah, however, was still dissatisfied and said sternly, "Fergus, can you stop troubling Ms. Gray? If it weren't for you knowing Kevin in prison, you would have caused Ms. Gray a huge problem!"

"Stupid dog!" Fergus cursed casually, finally realizing Sarah was stupid.

"You!" Sarah was almost spitting blood in anger. Seeing him still carrying Jessica, her eyes suddenly lit up. "Fine, I won't say anything about tonight, but give her to me!"

"What for?" Fergus asked in surprise.

He had to send Jessica back since he had encountered her.

Actually, Jessica's current state was mainly due to being scared and drunk. She would be fine after a night's sleep.

"Of course, I'll send her back. Do you think you should?" Sarah said unhappily. "Everyone thinks you're Ms. Gray's boyfriend. If outsiders see you with her, they'll gossip, and Ms. Gray will be heartbroken!"

Fergus thought about it and agreed. It was indeed inconvenient for him to send her home.

So, he handed Jessica over to Sarah.

Twenty minutes later, Sarah placed Jessica on a bed in Tarynville Hotel, smiling slyly. She raised her hand and slowly undressed Jessica, taking off all her clothes...

She threw the clothes all over the floor, then picked up a shirt and cut two slits in it with a knife.

After doing all this, she still felt like it wasn't up to scratch.

She took out the contract for the supply of materials for Plot 140, forged Fergus's signature, and placed it on the bedside table.

After doing all this, she smiled contentedly. "Remember, Fergus slept with you, and the contract is your compensation!"

She thought, 'At this rate, Fergus would have a scandal with Jessica. Violet will definitely kick him out!'

Sarah left and was about to walk out of the hotel.

She happened to run into John, who was returning from a late-night snack.

William was still following behind him.

"What a small world," John said sarcastically. "You're back? Where's Fergus? Dead? Haha."

Sarah said nothing and quickly walked away.

William said in a deep voice, "Mr. Zimmerman, should I bring her back?"

John shook his head. "No need. She's been with Violet for many years and is very important to her. As long as Fergus is dead, it's fine. But it's a pity I didn't personally deal with that jerk."

As he walked forward, he asked, "By the way, what do you think of Twilight Ridge Estate?"

Today, they went to check out Twilight Ridge Estate. After all, they had come to Tarynville and needed to know who they could and couldn't mess with.

William immediately became serious. "Impressive. That guy named Wade is very skilled. If we were to compete, I wouldn't win easily. But if it were a life-and-death fight, I could kill him!"

John frowned and said heavily, "Fortunately, we're not enemies. Get ready; tomorrow we're attending the Johnson and Shaw families' wedding. The enemy of my enemy is my friend!"

"I'll have Violet cornered!"

The next day, Fergus got up and went downstairs, finding a nice breakfast already prepared on the dining table.

Violet was waiting with her chin in her hands. She was wearing loose loungewear, her hair naturally tied into a ponytail.

"You're awake?"

Violet stood up. "You drank a lot last night, didn't you? Sarah is really something, making you treat everyone. But it's okay, I'll pick up the tab!"

"Hurry up and eat before it gets cold."

Fergus thought of that kiss again. It was so sweet. No wonder those guys in prison always said the sweetest, softest, most tender, and most moist things in the world were all combined...

"No need to pay for me; I have money. Starting tomorrow, I'll make breakfast." Fergus smiled.

She smiled too. She knew he had his pride and didn't say much, so she'd just give him a bonus when payday came.

She sat down and asked casually, "By the way, the Johnson family sent an invitation, asking us to attend Sophia and Tyler's wedding. Are you going?"

After asking, she waited nervously for the answer.

Sophia was his ex-fiancée!

Fergus didn't want to go; he found them annoying. But noticing Violet's slightly off look, he asked, "Are you going? If you go, I'll go."

She was delighted and mused, 'If he is willing to go, it meant he's moved on!'

She said in a low voice, "I want to go. After all, they sent an invitation."

"Then let's go!"

After breakfast, she went upstairs and changed into a set of formal suit; a black tight skirt, a white shirt, high heels, and her hair tied up high.

She also put on exquisite makeup, fitting for a typical female CEO!

Fergus was stunned by her beauty.

In fact, he still missed the old Violet. She had become more serious these days, and it took some getting used to. But seeing her now, he completely forgot about the past.

Violet blushed, "Let's go."

"Okay!" He reluctantly looked away.

They left together.

The streets were decorated with lanterns and streamers, and the whole city was filled with romantic flowers and laughter. All of this was to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Sophia and Tyler.

After all, one family was the richest in Tarynville, and the other was a rising star.

They were the top two families in Tarynville's business world, so the celebration had to be grand.

Twenty minutes later, Fergus and Violet arrived at a large gate in the suburbs.
