Chapter 62 Let Him Go

Time flew by, and before you knew it, it was already 7:30 PM.

Westside Manor was buzzing with activity, and announcements kept coming from the entrance.

On the lawn inside the manor, the elite and wealthy from all over Tarynville and the surrounding areas had gathered. The marriage between the Ziegler family and the Johnson family was an event no one wanted to miss!

Hayden and Linda, holding wine glasses, mingled through the crowd, greeting everyone with big smiles.

Logan and Tyler were also there, holding their own wine glasses and feeling pretty excited. Even though Hayden had told Logan that they could deal with Tyler however they wanted after tonight, how could Hayden possibly do it, given that everyone knew Tyler was his son-in-law?

Everything seemed set!

The only person not seen was Sophia, but that made sense. Sophia was the bride and would only show up when the wedding ceremony started.

"John Zimmerman has arrived, with a gift of $6.66 million!"

Hearing this announcement, everyone turned to look at the entrance, eyes wide with shock. Many knew John had come to Tarynville, but they never expected him to attend the wedding!

The Zimmerman family ranked third, and John was the sole heir, the definite next head of the Zimmerman family.

The richest man or the new elite in Tarynville compared to the Zimmerman family? They were nothing!

"Mr. Zimmerman?" Hayden was stunned for a second, then quickly took Linda to greet him.

Logan didn't waste any time either, bringing Tyler along quickly.

In the distance, John walked over in a formal suit, with William in a black robe on his left and Marlin, the chairman of Red Pharmaceuticals, and his son Oliver on his right.

Logically speaking, Marlin's status should also be announced separately, but John's presence overshadowed him.

"Mr. Zimmerman attending my daughter's wedding is an immense honor. I sincerely thank you for coming," Hayden said very politely.

John smiled faintly and said, "You are all the top tier of Tarynville, and since I happen to be in Tarynville, not attending would be impolite of me."

John looked around and then asked, "Has that jerk named Fergus arrived?"

Hearing this, Marlin and his son also started looking around. They had both been beaten by Fergus and couldn't swallow their anger!

John was here to back them up!

Hayden and Logan exchanged glances. Could it be that John had a grudge against Fergus? They hadn't heard of it.

"Not yet, but he should be here soon. Does Mr. Zimmerman have business with Fergus?" Tyler asked eagerly.

"Just a small matter. You guys carry on!" John waved his hand. Since Fergus hadn't arrived yet, they could wait.

Just as John finished speaking.

"Tarynville's underground emperor Mr. Quinn has arrived, with a gift of $3.99 million!"

The crowd was once again in an uproar. Xavier Quinn, a unique underground figure, had also come to the wedding!

Logan and Hayden knew about today's events at Mountain Shrine, but guests were welcome, and they had to get up to greet him.

"Perfect timing!" John suddenly said with a cold smile, "The jerk hasn't arrived, but his lackey has. Perfect, let's deal with the lackey first!"

Everyone was left scratching their heads.

Hayden and Logan, being sharp, quickly stopped in their tracks. Without knowing the full story, they couldn't just jump in!

Xavier, who was walking over, also felt puzzled. 'Why is everyone staring at me?'

He kept walking forward.

When he saw Marlin and the others, he had a bad feeling. 'Are they really going to cause trouble here? That would ruin the whole vibe!'

But Hayden and the others stayed silent, not daring to say a word!

John stared at him, mocking, "You are Tarynville's underground emperor Mr. Quinn? Quite an impressive nickname!"

Xavier noticed John standing in the main position, feeling unfamiliar, and asked in surprise, "And you are?"

"Are you blind? This is John Zimmerman from the State Capital!" Oliver couldn't wait to jump in and mock, "Aren't you so powerful, surrounding my family's factory for Fergus? show me what you got!"

With these words, all the guests finally got what was going on. There was definitely some beef here!

Hayden and the others were also surprised. They had been so busy with the wedding that they hadn't noticed what was happening outside. This was a big deal!

Xavier's face turned grim from the scolding, but he didn't dare to lose his temper. The Zimmerman family was not to be messed with.

He quickly clasped his hands and said, "Mr. Zimmerman, my eyesight is poor. Please forgive me."

John sneered. "Not only is your eyesight poor, but you're also deaf and brainless. Mr. Quinn, every choice has a price. Since you chose to side with Ms. Gray and Fergus, you are my enemy. Being my enemy and daring to touch my people? That's asking for death!"

John then looked at Marlin and his daughter. "Beat him up. If he dies, I'll take responsibility!"

Marlin and Oliver hesitated. They could talk big, but facing the underground emperor, they lacked the guts to act!

Xavier frowned and looked at Hayden and Logan. He was here at their invitation, and as hosts, were they really going to watch their guest get beaten? 

Tyler's eyes lit up. He saw this as a golden opportunity to get close to John. Besides, he already had a grudge against Xavier and could take pleasure in beating the underground emperor on the wedding day.

It would be a great story to tell!

Before the two could respond, Tyler suddenly shouted, "Mr. Zimmerman has already given the order. What are you afraid of? If you don't dare, I will!"

With that, he quickly threw a punch at Xavier, aiming for his head.

Xavier casually raised his hand to catch it. He hadn't gotten to where he was today by luck; he was also battle-hardened.

He asked, "What are you doing!"

At that moment, the aura of Tarynville's underground emperor was fully displayed, making everyone's heart race.

Tyler was dumbfounded; he hadn't landed the punch!

Hayden and Logan were also dumbfounded. They couldn't believe it—Tyler actually tried to hit Xavier?

But at this moment, Tyler immediately looked at John and pleaded, "Mr. Zimmerman, I've admired you since I was a child. I acted on your orders!"

John was amused and laughed. "That flattery sounds nice!"

As he spoke, he looked at Xavier and said coldly, "Let go of Tyler immediately, or I'll kill you!"
