Chapter 112 I Really Don't Know You

Most of the time, there was no need for unnecessary talk; just solve the problem directly!

For clowns like Max, you had to show them what the consequences were.

However, after waiting for a full minute, there was no movement at the restaurant entrance; even the waitstaff turned around, let alone the security guards.

The people around immediately laughed.

"Where's the security? Why haven't they come? Could it be that the security doesn't listen to Fergus?"

"He's still immersed in his identity as Ms. Gray's partner, thinking he's a big shot. Little does he know, he's now just a jerk!"

"Even the security doesn't listen to him. It's ridiculous."

At this moment, everyone looked at Fergus as if he were a clown.

Fergus was also surprised. Other businesses were under the Gray Group, but the Tarynville Hotel was bought with his own money. How could they not listen to him?

Fergus asked, "Where's the security?"

Max looked down condescendingly and spoke sarcastically, "Mr. Yost, I can't wait any longer. Why hasn't the security come up yet? Could it be that they're getting weapons? Don't let them get weapons; I'm so scared."

The laughter around grew louder.

The girl with the plastic surgery face rolled her eyes and mocked, "Fergus, if you know what's good for you, eat the food like a dog and then sell the hotel to Mr. Ortiz. If you dare to disobey, the consequences will be unbearable for you!"

Fergus picked up a towel from the table and wiped his hands, smiling faintly, "Do you think that without security, I can't make you crawl out on your knees?"

Max looked disdainful. "Are you scare me? Are you going to hit me? Come on, try hitting me!"

Max pointed to his left cheek contemptuously. "If I scream today, I'll do whatever you say! But do you dare to hit me?"

The girl puffed out her chest arrogantly. "Do you dare?"

The smiles on the surrounding customers' faces grew wider. In the past, Fergus had Ms. Gray's protection, and even if he killed someone in public, Ms. Gray could settle it. But now, Fergus had no background at all, and even cursing someone could easily get him locked up.

This was the real world!

Fergus leaned back. "Remember what you said. If you scream, you'll do whatever I say."

Max squinted and said, "Yes, I said it. Remember it. But will you hit me? Try hitting me!"

"Try it then," Fergus said a few simple words and, as he spoke, quickly kicked Max in the calf.

Max was caught off guard and fell forward, his face smashing straight into the food on the ground. Before Max could get up, Fergus quickly stepped on Max's head, firmly controlling him.

Throughout the process, Fergus didn't even stand up!

Max's head was pinned down, unable to move, and his limbs struggled violently, looking like a turtle caught by the head.

Seeing this scene, the surrounding customers were stunned.

They had never expected Fergus to actually hit Max. Was he crazy? With Max's influence, as long as he called the police, Fergus would definitely be arrested.

"How dare you hit Mr. Ortiz? Let go of him now!" The girl was terrified.

"Shut up!" Fergus quickly lifted his other foot and did the same to the girl, pinning her head down as well. Her posture was identical to Max's, looking like another turtle.

Fergus looked down and uttered, "I hate wasting food the most. Now, eat the food. As long as you lick it clean, today's matter will be over."

After saying that, he lightly rotated his feet, giving them chance to speak.

Hearing this, the people around gasped. They knew that the food on the ground was not only dirty but also contained broken pieces of the plates. If they ate it, there would be severe consequences.

"Fergus, I'm gonna kill you! You'll regret ever crossing me!" Max roared, not believing Fergus had the guts to hit him.

He kept yelling, "Let go of me now, or I'll make your life a living hell!"

Fergus didn't even bother to respond, just kept pressing their heads down with his foot.

The girl chimed in, "Mr. Ortiz won't let you get away with this, no way!"

Fergus just rotated her head to face the ground too.

Since they were being stubborn, he figured he might as well mess with them a bit longer. It wasn't his head getting squished, after all.

The people around were freaking out. This guy didn't care anymore. Did he not want a future? Did he not want to live a good life after today?

Then, from a distance, there was the sound of clapping, one clap after another, very rhythmic.

Everyone turned to look and quickly got up to greet the person warmly.

"Greetings, Mr. Shaw!"

"Mr. Shaw, why are you here?"

"Mr. Shaw, you come so early?"

It was Tyler!

With his status as Ms. Gray's partner, Tyler was top dog, and the Shaw Family was the number one family in Tarynville!

Tyler ignored them and stared at Fergus, walking over step by step. When he reached Fergus, he sneered, "Fergus, I didn't expect you to have some guts. You dare to come back to Tarynville. Do you know how you're going to die?"

He'd heard Fergus was at the Tarynville Hotel and came over specifically.

The customers started blaming Fergus.

"Fergus, Mr. Shaw is talking to you. Stand up and respond!"

"Who gave you the courage to keep sitting!"

"Mr. Shaw has spoken. Why don't you beg for mercy?"

The crowd was way more excited now. After all, Tyler had not only Ms. Gray but also the Zimmerman Family from the State Capital backing him. Pleasing Tyler could mean big benefits in the future.

Seeing their despicable behavior, Fergus finally got it. After meeting so many people, he realized dogs were better because they were always sincere and loyal. People, though, could be hypocritical and sycophantic.

Fergus asked calmly, "I really haven't thought about it. Tell me."

Tyler sneered, "Rather than killing you directly, I prefer to slowly torture you to death. The first step is to take everything from you."

Then he snapped his fingers.

A man quickly rushed out from the crowd and bowed obsequiously beside Tyler. "Mr. Shaw, what are your orders?"

This guy was the hotel manager, Wyatt.

Tyler asked with a mocking smile, "Who is this guy sitting in front of me?"

Wyatt looked at Fergus and then shook his head vigorously, fawning, "I don't know him. I've never seen him before. I don't know where this jerk came from. Mr. Shaw, does he bother you? Just say the word, and I'll have security throw him out immediately! And I'll even put up a sign saying 'No Dogs or Fergus Allowed' at the hotel entrance!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the surrounding customers laughed uproariously, mocking Fergus. Getting thrown out of his own hotel with a sign saying 'No Dogs or Fergus Allowed'—what a joke!

They thought Tyler was truly in charge now.

Fergus's face immediately turned grim. He looked at Wyatt and asked, "Do you know who the boss is?"

Wyatt puffed out his chest and replied righteously, "I have only one boss, and that's Mr. Shaw. As for you, I really don't know you!"

He continued, "But I still have to advise you, as of today, Mr. Shaw is the king of Tarynville. You'd better not go against him. Otherwise, you won't even know how you died."
