Chapter 49 John Zimmerman

The grass swayed around Fergus and Violet at the center, and tens of millions of poisonous insects scattered in all directions, frantically fleeing Plot 140.

The surrounding temperature began to rise, as if a ray of warm sunshine was shining down.

"This..."

"How is this possible?"

"Oh my God!"

Everyone present widened their eyes, staring in horror at the scene. Even though it was happening right in front of them, they still couldn't believe it. The poisonous insects were actually running away?

However, it wasn't over yet.

A gentle breeze blew as flowers bloomed all over the ground, colorful and competing in beauty.

"Chirp!"

A bird's cry echoed in the sky, and then flocks of birds flew in from all directions, dancing and fluttering, with rare and exotic species of all kinds.

The spring breeze caressed their faces, everything revived as hundreds of birds flew through!

Boom!

Everyone was stunned by the beautiful scene before them.

Henry, Hayden, Sophia and Jessica were dumbfounded

Tens of thousands of people on the scene were dumbfounded!

Violet looked at the scene in front of her, entranced, crying as she glanced around. Finally, she looked at Fergus. After looking at him for two seconds, she gently stood on tiptoe and kissed him on the lips.

She softly said, "I think today is the happiest day of my life."

A wave of chaos erupted at the scene. Violet actually kissed Fergus? The renowned Ms. Gray from a prestigious family actually kissed an ordinary ex-prisoner?

Everyone thought, 'Are they dating? The story turned into reality!'

Seeing this, Sophia felt a stab in her heart and quickly turned to leave.

Jessica clenched her fists tightly, her nails almost digging into her flesh, and angrily turned to leave.

Logan and Hayden exchanged a glance, sensing something had gone terribly wrong. Fergus was their enemy; if he was indeed with Ms. Gray, the consequences would be tremendous. They both turned to leave, thinking of ways to deal with it!

Tyler was so angry he almost spat blood. According to the plan, he was supposed to be Violet's other half. Fergus would pay the price sooner or later!

Some people left, while others moved forward.

Henry, as if seeing a deity, quickly ran over without caring if he was interrupting the romantic atmosphere. He frantically asked, "What's going on? How did you do this?"

He had studied botany and zoology all his life and had never seen such a spectacle, not even in books.

Violet was also a bit confused and didn't know either.

Fergus glanced at him irritably, licked his sweet-tasting lips, and casually said, "I told you, this place was tailor-made for her."

"Impossible!" Henry immediately denied it. "How could it be tailor-made? You must've done something, right? Tell me, please tell me!"

Henry was desperate to know, almost wanting to open Fergus's head and dissect it for research.

"I don't know!"

Fergus simply answered, turned around, and left. 'Can't you read the mood? You ruined the good moment.' he thought.

Violet thought for a moment and followed behind.

"Stop pretending!"

After the two walked away, Glenn came over and said disdainfully, "Mr. Lee, he's just acting. I think it might be the Chinook wind. He must have contacted the weather department in advance. If we wait a little longer, everything will be resolved!"

That kind of wind can raise the temperature by 86 degrees Fahrenheit overnight, turning winter into summer and making flowers bloom.

Slap!

Mr. Lee slapped him and angrily scolded, "Shut up! The Chinook wind requires specific terrain. What terrain is this? That wind happens in winter. What season is this?"

He then picked up a blade of grass and pointed to a flower on the mountaintop. "This is summer grass, and that is winter plum. You're telling me this is Chinook wind?"

Glenn didn't dare to say anything.

Henry slowly raised his head. "A miracle, it's simply a miracle. So, at the end of science, there is magic!"

Meanwhile, the entire Tarynville was abuzz. Some said Fergus was a magician, some said Violet was a chosen one destined to conquer the deadly land, and some said they were a match made in heaven.

Of course, there was a common consensus; Plot 140 was a place where everything revived, and it was a naturally-blessed land with hundreds of birds flying over it.

The land price skyrocketed further!

Some speculated that the land was currently worth at least $600 million!

Buying $600 million worth of land for $80 million, in the blink of an eye, it increased sixtyfold!

"How did you do it?"

Violet asked, blinking as she sat in the car. She felt that Fergus was glowing all over.

Fergus candidly said, "I set a curse specifically targeting them. Once we got the land, I just lifted the spell."

Sarah, who was driving, sneered, "Why don't you say you're God and can do whatever you want? Stop bullshitting. The State has the most capable people in the country, and I've never heard of anyone who can cast curses. Just tell us what trick you used?"

She still didn't believe it, especially after seeing Violet kiss him. She felt even more sulky. 'Why did she even consider him? He's not even worthy of me, so why should Violet kiss him!' Sarah mused.

"Sarah!" Violet was very happy, so she wasn't angry.

"Ms. Gray, he's just deceiving you!"

"I'm willing to be deceived by him. It's none of your concern." Violet laughed.

After saying that, she suddenly remembered that Fergus was still beside her. Her face flushed, thinking of how she kissed him in front of so many people today. It was so embarrassing.

Fergus increasingly felt that Violet was wonderful, unconditionally believing and supporting him. This was something many girls couldn't do. He thought, 'Should I just settle for her and find time to cancel the remaining six marriage arrangements?'

However, he missed the previous Violet a bit. She had become shy, and he almost didn't recognize her.

Ring! Ring!

Violet's phone rang. Seeing the number, her expression changed, and she quickly answered, "Dad? Yes, okay, thank you. I'll be careful!"

She hung up the phone, excitedly saying, "Fergus, my dad just praised me and said that as long as my business gets more successful and I prove myself to my family, I won't have to marry that fool!"

She was so happy. The prenuptial agreement had been her nightmare since childhood, and now she finally saw hope of getting rid of it.

Fergus thought for a moment and asked, "Then, will you marry me?"

"Sure!"

Violet blurted out, and then immediately regretted it. She quickly turned her head and said softly, "No way, you haven't proposed to me yet. You have to propose first, and then I can agree..."

Every girl dreamt of being proposed to, and Violet was no exception.

Bang!

When she finished speaking, the car shook violently.

They saw a car behind them crash into theirs.

"How are you driving?!" Sarah, already irritated by their conversation, became even more annoyed after being hit. She quickly opened the car door and got out, but she froze when she did.

Behind them wasn't just one car, but a convoy! There were a total of nine cars.

Four black Range Rovers in the front and back, with a black Rolls-Royce in the middle.

The first Range Rover had crashed into their car.

At this moment, the car doors opened simultaneously, and thirty bodyguards in black suits and sunglasses stood on both sides of the cars with their hands behind their backs, exuding a terrifying aura.

The Rolls-Royce door opened, a young man in an expensive custom suit got out, his face arrogant as if looking down on everything.

"John Zimmerman!" Sarah recognized him.

"John?" Violet also recognized him through the rearview mirror, her brows furrowing.

"Who is he?" Fergus asked in surprise.

Before she could answer, John had already walked to the car and knocked on the window. When it was lowered, he looked at Fergus with contempt. "Are you that low-life jerk who isn't worth noticing?"
