Chapter 67 Fergus' Lackey

Things had gotten way out of hand. Who even wanted a wedding now?

"Oh my God, what just happened? Two people are dead, and Mr. Zimmerman got his limbs broken!"

"It's over, it's over. Tarynville's in for a disaster!"

"Mr. Zimmerman, Mr. Zimmerman, are you okay?" Everyone was freaking out, crowding around John to check on him.

"I'm gonna kill him! I'm gonna kill him!" John was still fuming, his face twisted with rage. He came here to confront Violet, only to get jumped by one of her goons. It was a huge slap in the face.

"Mr. Zimmerman, hang in there. The ambulance is on its way!" Logan knelt beside him, tears streaming down his face.

Logan suddenly turned and yelled, "Hayden, you useless piece of trash! You just stood there and let Mr. Zimmerman get attacked at your Westside Manor. You're gonna pay for this!"

Logan knew that after tonight, he and Hayden were no longer allies. They might even become enemies. So he had to act fast and shift John's anger onto Hayden.

Tyler's eyes darted around, and he also shouted angrily, "I told you I didn't want to marry Sophia, but you insisted for your stupid pride. If you had listened and canceled the wedding, Mr. Zimmerman wouldn't be in this state. This is all on you!"

Hayden was stunned. He didn't even have time to react.

An elderly man in a red suit with a full head of silver hair but a spirited demeanor walked in. He wasn't tall, but he exuded an aura of authority. It was Kevin!

Everyone turned to look.

"The Stevens Family is ranked second among the five major families, just below the Henderson family. As the head, he's a big deal. Why did he come in person?"

"Mr. Stevens' status is definitely higher than Mr. Zimmerman's, and even higher than Ms. Gray's. Who invited him?"

All the guests were stunned. Such a big shot had no reason to be here. Even if he wanted to send his regards, sending a servant would have been enough to be treated as an honored guest!

Some guests quickly rushed over to greet him warmly.

"Alright, alright, don't crowd around me. I'm not the main character tonight." Kevin appeared very friendly, not daring to be otherwise because Fergus was here.

If they had known Hayden knew Kevin, they would never have said what they just did!

If Fergus knew he was showing off at an event where Fergus was about to appear, he would be in big trouble.

This statement left all the guests bewildered. Even bigger figures? Who could it be if even Kevin Stevens didn't dare call himself a big shot?

Everyone looked at Hayden simultaneously.

Hayden was thrilled.

"Mr. Stevens!" A voice rang out from the crowd.

Everyone turned to look and remembered John lying on the ground!

"John?" Kevin also looked over and gasped, rushing over to check on him. "John, were you beaten up?"

Being from the State Capital, he naturally knew the heir of the Zimmerman family.

John nodded pitifully and complained, "Mr. Stevens, I was beaten by Fergus, Ms. Gray's partner in Tarynville. Mr. Stevens, I'm in so much pain. Did you bring any bodyguards? I want revenge, revenge!"

Tyler kept nodding. "Mr. Stevens, Mr. Zimmerman wanted to kill Fergus' lackey, and Fergus dared to stop him. This cannot be tolerated!"

They knew that when Kevin got angry, he was a hundred times more terrifying than John. Kevin could kill Fergus with just a flick of his finger.
