Chapter 129- Dark Aura
Shit! shit! shit!
Why the hell was Scar in this coffee shop and why was he looking at me?
Fuck, He was walking towards us.
“ Miss Miller, we have to leave, I don't think Mr Kane is coming," I said and she turned to me in confusion,
“ What do you mean, Hardin? We just got here, we can wait,” she said,
She didn't understand the gravity of the situation, I haven't come up with how to arrange a meeting with her and Scar and he was a very impatient man and right now he was here,
" Please let's just go,” I said and I'm sure she saw the urgency in my eyes, she stood up but before she could take the first step, I heard Scar's voice,
Fuck!
" Hello beautiful, going somewhere?" he asked as he pulled a chair for my boss and beckoned for her to sit down,
“ Who are you?" she asked in confusion,
“ How would you know about me if you don't sit down?” he said,
“ I'm sorry but I'm not the type of woman you tell to sit down and she's going to listen, so who the fuck are you?" my boss asked, all form of a smile vanishing from her face,
“ Fierce, I see," he said with a smile,
" Can we,...” I was about to speak but Scar raised his hand to stop me, he knew why the fuck he could do this and get away because he had the upper hand right now, I was just in a tight fit with nowhere to go.
“ Hardin, do you know this man?" she asked and I swallowed, not knowing what to say,
“ Uhm, he's a friend…”
" Oh Miss Miller, I'm so sorry I'm late,” Mr Kane joined the scene as he looked between in with curiosity,
" Is something the matter?" Mr Kane asked,
“ Absolutely not, I'll take my leave," Scar said before he gave a salute and walked away, the aura he brought going with him.
" Sorry, I was caught in traffic, let's get into it,” Mr Kane apologized,
" It's okay Mr Kane,” she said before she slowly sat down and the we did the same,
All throughout the meeting as Miss Miller and Mr Kane talk, I couldn't help but feel her eyes on me. I knew she had a lot of questions going through her mind and I didn't know how I was going to answer them.
The meeting ended as we all walked out of the coffee shop together and then Mr Kane shook hands with us before opening his car and getting in as he drove away and then it was suddenly filled with silence like it was just the two of us in the world.
She didn't say a word, she just walked to the car and opened the door and got in.
I released a breath I didn't know I was holding as I walked to the driver's side and got in.
“ Wanna tell me who that man is?" she asked immediately I entered the car, at least she should have let me put on my seatbelt,
" He's a friend, he has been wanting to meet you," I said,
“ Wanting to meet me? What for?" I don't know ma'am, I don't know.
“ He just likes powerful women and I've told him you're a very busy woman, I'm sure he must have seen us and decided to come up to us," I said,
“ Hmm," she simply hummed,
“ Why did you look at him like that?" she asked and I turned to her,
“ Like how?" I asked,
“ Like you were scared of him or something," she said and I chuckled,
“ I wasn't," I said,
I knew she wanted to ask more questions but decided against it of which I was grateful for.
My phone vibrated with a message and I picked up my phone to see it was a message from Scar.
‘ Just a little reminder,’ that was what the message read and I internally groaned,
Never make a deal with the wrong person.
I dropped my phone as I started the car and drove out of the coffee shop heading back to the office.
Scar wouldn't rest until I have done what he wants.

ARIANA'S POV
I haven't stopped thinking about that man we met at the coffee shop, there was something Hardin was hiding from me.
I wasn't someone who likes to force people to tell me things, but he'd have to tell me because whatever he was hiding was about me.
I didn't like the aura that man brought, it was a dark aura like he was a dangerous man, I didn't feel safe being around him at the same time I didn't let him intimidate me.
I looked through the files on my table but the unsettling feeling of who that man was wouldn't go away.
Who the fuck was he?
Just then a knock came on my door and I told the person to come in.
“ Oh Harrison Grey, what brings you to my office?" I asked as he walked further into my office,
There was a look in his eyes I didn't quite understand,
“ Are you okay Harrison? Why do you look scared? Please sit down," I said as he slowly walked to the visitor's chair in front of me and said sat down,
For a minute he just sat down without saying anything and I let him gather himself, I don't know what he wanted to tell me but I think it was pretty serious,
“ Are you okay now?" I asked as he nodded before raising his eyes to me,
“ I saw him," he said and I looked at him with scrunch brow,
“ Saw who?" I asked,
“ Him, the man from that night,"
