Chapter 106 I Won't Become That Kind of Person!

"We recorded everything," Lilith said with a victorious smile. "With this evidence, how will you and Benoit try to argue your way out of Clancy Villa?"

"What do I need to argue about?" Queenie felt utterly confused.

"No need to pretend anymore. The hidden camera recorded everything you said," Lilith crossed her arms, looking smug.

"You admitted to being Benoit's lover, and you two never got married! Benoit claiming responsibility for you was just a lie to deceive Prescott. Just wait and see, I will expose you to Prescott," Lilith said confidently.

Queenie was completely puzzled why Lilith and Gilda suddenly insisted that she and Benoit were not married. Both of them had even gone to City Hall! But she didn't bother to argue. It would only make Lilith look like a clown in front of Prescott!

Queenie picked up her bag, glanced mockingly at Lilith, and said, "You really surprised me. It was you who schemed to push me onto Benoit's bed, and now you want to use that against me. How shameless you are! Do your son and daughter know about it?"

"Shut up!" Lilith's face suddenly changed. She angrily reprimanded and nervously held Barbara's hand. "See, Queenie is no longer the obedient and respectful person she used to be! She doesn't show an ounce of respect to her elders!"

Queenie chuckled in frustration. "Lilith, you're really giving yourself face! Why should I respect you? What have you done to deserve my respect? You've tried to harm me at every turn. Should I still address you as my mother-in-law?"

After speaking, Queenie's disappointed gaze fell on Barbara. "How did you end up like this too?"

Barbara trembled and quickly explained, "I'm not... Queenie... My mom forced me to come here! I didn't know it was you who was sitting in this private room. It was already too late when I found out."

Lilith glanced at Barbara with disdain. "Why are you wasting your breath with her? The reason I brought you here was to make you see clearly what kind of person this woman has become now. She is Mr. Clancy's lover. Stop blaming your brother for this dirty business!"

"Shut up!" Barbara interrupted Lilith before she finished, shouting uncontrollably.

"You're the one who pushed her onto Mr. Clancy. How can you justify calling her dirty? If anyone is dirty, it's you! Even if she became Mr. Clancy's lover, it's because of you. Mommy, how could you become like this? I don't even recognize you anymore!"

Gilda ignored the argument between Lilith and Barbara and walked a few steps forward, looking triumphantly at Queenie.

"Queenie, behave yourself. Give me twenty thousand dollars every month, and I won't tell Mr. Clancy about your infertility. Otherwise, you won't even be able to become his lover."

Upon hearing this, Lilith burst into laughter, "Barbara, can you see now? Can you see this person clearly? She doesn't even protect her own mother and wishes for her death. She still wants to trample on her!"

Queenie laughed self-deprecatingly.

When her own mother treated her like this in front of others, how could she expect others to respect her?

She tightly pinched her hand and held back her tears, staring back at Gilda.

"Can you tell me why? I am your daughter, why do you hate me so much? Even if we're not mother and daughter, no one should have such hatred."

Gilda, influenced by the atmosphere and bitter past memories, gritted her teeth and asked.

"Do you really want to know?"
