Chapter 169 Leo's Death
Queenie arrived at Paradise Club, but couldn't find Jennifer or which private room she was in.
She tried calling her phone, but no one answered.
Due to the high level of privacy in Paradise Club, it was impossible to search room by room.
Queenie was getting more and more anxious.
Every minute that passed, Jennifer's danger increased.
"Queenie."
Just when Queenie was at a loss, Benoit's voice sounded from behind her.
"I'll take you to the control room to check, it'll be faster this way."
Queenie turned around and saw Manley pushing Benoit towards her. She excitedly greeted him, "Husband, you truly are my lucky star!"
She was starting to appreciate Benoit's straightforwardness and unconditional trust more and more!
Soon, Queenie saw from the surveillance footage that Leo forcibly dragged Jennifer into a private room.
From the footage, it was clear that Jennifer was unwilling.
As soon as she identified the room, Queenie rushed over immediately.
Just as the door of that room opened, Leo was about to come out. Through the partly open door, Queenie could see Jennifer standing inside, as if someone was restraining her and pouring her drinks.
"Leo!" Queenie's rage surged as soon as she saw him.
In an instant, a large hand landed on her shoulder, stopping her from moving forward in time.
Confused, Queenie turned her head to look at the person behind her, only to see Pollard anxiously grabbing her wrist and forcefully taking her aside.
"Come with me." he said.
"Pollard, what are you doing?" Queenie shook off his hand, feeling explosive anger throughout her body!
"What am I doing? You almost got into trouble again, do you know that?" Pollard's face held a hint of hidden anger. "Who is Leo? The Blair family has a complicated background that not even Mr. Clancy dares to easily provoke. You suffered once, do you want to suffer a second time? Before, your brother protected you, but what about this time? Queenie, don't meddle in other people's business. Even if you help that girl, what if she changes her mind like last time?"
Queenie looked at Pollard in shock. "There's an innocent girl involved here! Not to mention that she had helped me before. Pollard, how can you turn a blind eye to something like this?"
"Alive?"
Pollard felt a little uncomfortable at Queenie's words. "Queenie, if this person could come with Leo, she might not be a good person deep down..."
"Pollard!" Queenie interrupted him, her eyes welling up with tears. "I'm disappointed in you. I'm grateful that I didn't end up with you. If I didn't go in today, I would always have a thorn in my heart when I think of this. If I helped her today and she doesn't save herself, then I won't help her anymore."
With that, Queenie turned back to the private room and saw Kate pulling on Leo's collar and beating him.
Punch after punch, she struck mercilessly.
Almost every blow could be heard breaking bones.
Leo's friend tried to help him and grabbed a bottle to smash Kate.
"Watch out," Queenie rushed over and pushed the man away.
Upon hearing Queenie's reminder, Kate swiftly kicked, sending another man who wanted to help flying.
Now, none of Leo's party dared to step forward.
Kate continued to beat Leo, relentlessly.
Pollard rushed in and shouted, "Stop! Someone could get killed!"
Queenie also sensed something was wrong. Kate's eyes were filled with intense rage! She seemed determined to kill Leo!
"Kate, please stop!" Queenie nervously approached her, trying to stop her.
Kate turned her head and glanced at Queenie, speaking briefly and to the point.
"Take your students and leave! I'll take full responsibility for this! If Leo dies, I'll make sure he pays for his wretched life!"
