Chapter 158 Mr. Clancy Likes to Show off His Wife's Goodness

As Pollard boarded the plane, Manley received a message.

Manley glanced at Simms, the driver, and Shipley in the cabin, hesitating on whether to report or not.

Benoit looked up, "What's going on?"

Manley quickly lowered his voice and said, "Young Master Pollard has taken leave and is now on a plane. He should arrive in Coast City in about two hours."

"Okay." Benoit responded indifferently, "It doesn't matter."

Shipley was somewhat surprised, "Didn't you say that your nephew couldn't come back until you had won your wife over?"

"Well, I did win her over. My wife just confessed to me," Benoit revealed a knowing smile, "That sound

"The music is especially beautiful. You two single individuals wouldn't have the chance to listen to such beautiful voices."

"Just a reminder, the Lunar New Year is approaching soon. You two will probably be bombarded with marriage proposals from the elders in your families."

"I might be spared from the pressure to get married this year, but I'll probably be pressured to have children. You two wouldn't understand this kind of suffering."

Simms and Shipley fell silent for a moment.

Unable to hold back, the driver spoke up, "Mr. Clancy, you're so impressive. You should teach Master a thing or two! He's almost thirty and hasn't even touched a woman's hand!"

Simms looked at the driver with a piercing gaze.

The driver, seemingly oblivious, continued, "I've been with Master for so long, and I've only seen one woman who fearlessly pursued him – Barbara. Now, Barbara is probably heartbroken and won't bother Master anymore. I worry that Master will remain single for the rest of his life! After all, so many potential wives have met tragic ends..."

Simms was incredibly speechless.

Shipley's expression changed slightly when he heard the mention of "Barbara."

Knowing about Barbara's situation, Shipley was concerned that there might be some discord between the two of them today.

As the topic reached this point, Shipley couldn't help but ask, "Do you want to give Simms a beating for this matter?"

Benoit chuckled lightly, "Am I someone who can't distinguish right from wrong?"

Shipley raised his voice, "But he hurt Barbara. Won't you give him a few punches? Don't internalize it, a few symbolic punches to let off steam. Let's continue being good brothers, with no rifts between us."

Simms took a sip of red wine, a bit of red liquid clinging to the corner of his mouth. He stared at Shipley ominously, "If he doesn't hit me, are you not worried?"

Shipley was seen through and awkwardly rubbed his nose, "Why does General scare me so many times, but you haven't even once?"

Benoit glanced at Shipley, "How did you comfort Barbara's wounded soul when I introduced her to you?"

"Absolutely not! I have no feelings for that girl!" Shipley's voice grew louder.

Benoit chuckled, "Isn't that settled then? If you can't handle it yourself, how can you expect Simms to handle it?"

Upon hearing this, Simms raised his glass towards Benoit.

Benoit smirked, "No need to thank me. I can empathize because I love my wife very much. Besides my wife, I don't want anyone else. Imagine someone you don't like confessing their feelings to you and sticking to you everywhere, it's quite annoying and something you can't tolerate."

Why did every topic have to circle back to his wife!

As soon as he finished speaking, Benoit stood up, "Alright, I'm going back to Clancy Villa to be with my wife. She has a surprise prepared for me tonight."

Simms took a deep look at Benoit, "When Pollard returns to Coast City, there's a high possibility he'll go straight to Clancy Villa."

"You and your wife are returning to Clancy Villa at this time, aren't you afraid of the excitement?"

"No choice, my mother and elder brother are both coming back to attend my second brother's birthday feast. Considering the time, it's almost time."

After saying that, Benoit walked towards the private room.

Just as he reached the door of the room, he turned his head and glanced at the driver, "You asked me a question just now, and I can give you some advice for Simms."

The driver's eyes immediately lit up, "What?"

"Fire you."

Simms nodded, "That's actually a good idea."

The driver put on a distressed face and lamented, "Master, if you fire me, there won't be anyone as loyal and concerned about your lifelong affairs like me!"

Simms thought, there is no need for that.
