Chapter 79 Gathering at the Designer Store

This clothing store was a luxury brand preferred by many socialites and wealthy ladies.

As soon as Queenie stepped in and saw the price tags, she was shocked.

A plain vest was priced at a staggering 50,000 US dollars!

Queenie felt the urge to leave.

She had always been reluctant to spend her hard-earned money on luxury items.

But Barbara Clancy grabbed her and excitedly took out her phone to record a short video.

"I'm so lucky! Queenie brought me to this store to buy clothes! Having a Queenie who spoils you is pure happiness!"

Before Queenie could refute, Monica walked in angrily, holding her mother Gilda's hand.

"Sis, if you're buying her clothes, then what are Mom and I supposed to be?"

Gilda, who rarely visited this store, was also infuriated upon hearing her eldest daughter buying clothes for someone else.

"That's right! If she's getting it, I want it too. And I'm your real mom, so I deserve double!"

As soon as the words fell, the other rich ladies in the store, including Mary Green and Mrs. Clifton who came from the western district, also turned their heads towards them.

Barbara Clancy glanced at the mother-daughter pair with disdain and rolled her eyes.

"Who do you two think you are, comparing yourselves to me?"

Saying that, Barbara Clancy picked up a dress she found visually appealing and without blinking, she said, "Waiter, pack this. Queenie's buying it for me!"

Monica was furious and glanced around. Then she spotted a mink coat that caught her eye. She picked it up and confidently told the waiter, "Pack it up, my sister's buying it for me."

Monica didn't forget to nudge her mother's elbow. "Mom, quickly pick a few items too! It's only right to buy for your own family, not for outsiders."

"Outsider? How can I be an outsider?" Barbara Clancy raised her voice.

Monica didn't know Barbara Clancy, and hmphed a few times. "In any case, we are definitely closer to Queenie than anyone else!"

Barbara Clancy's face froze for a moment, then she retorted, "What use are blood relations? True closeness comes from actual relationships! Don't believe it? Just look and see who Queenie ends up paying for!"

Barbara Clancy proudly picked a few more clothing items.

Monica furrowed her brow and whispered to her mother, "Does Benoit have a sister?"

Gilda thought for a moment. "No, but he does have a real elder sister who's abroad. Her son is already in college, so it couldn't be her at this age."

"Well, it doesn't matter. This person in front of us is definitely a counterfeit!" Monica stood her ground and also started grabbing a few clothing items.

Gilda also picked a few jackets.

The other rich ladies in the store, seeing these three women grab clothes as if they were free, instinctively turned their attention to Queenie.

Who on earth is she? So rich?

But she looked unfamiliar!

Mary Green, being a frequent visitor to this store, naturally knew the value of the clothes these women were grabbing.

She unconsciously crossed her arms and stepped closer, curious to see if Queenie could actually afford such expensive clothing.

She wanted to see what kind of person Queenie really was.

“What is the current status between Benoit and me? To what extent can I use the black card?” Queenie thought.

Meanwhile, Barbara Clancy and Monica were still arguing.

"I don't believe Queenie will pay for you! Do you really think you picked cheap things?!"

Monica retorted with her hands on her hips. "If she doesn't pay for me and Mom, then who should she be paying for? We’re blood relatives! I don't believe that with so many people around, my sister wouldn't understand this!"

Both of them grew tired of arguing and looked at Queenie together.

"Queenie, pay the bill!"

"Sis, pay the bill!"
