Chapter 170 Madman Leo
"Stop." Benoit's soft voice sounded.
Queenie turned around and saw Manley leading Benoit to the private room.
She rushed towards them as if seeing a savior.
Kate, with one hand gripping Leo's collar and the other ready to punch, paused her movement upon hearing Benoit's voice.
Leo, with a face swollen like a pig's head, stuck out his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth, laughing. "You better kill me. If you don't kill me, you'll all die."
His words were swiftly followed by Kate's punch, causing Leo to wince in pain but laugh hysterically.
Kate continued to beat him mercilessly. "Mr. Clancy, you guys go! I'll handle this alone! I said this bastard will die, and I'll pay for this wretched life!"
"What if I don't want you to pay?" Benoit's voice remained calm, causing Pollard to become anxious.
"Mr. Clancy! Look at Leo, she's still beating him. Can we trust the Blair family? You need to have Manley pull her away!" Pollard urged.
Benoit remained unaffected, his face calm as he softly called out, "Kate, are you not going to listen to me now?"
Kate's eyes were bloodshot, her chest heaving with erratic breaths. Eventually, she released her grip on Leo.
Leo slumped down like a pile of mud.
Seeing this, Jennifer became afraid and covered her face, crouching down and crying.
"I didn't want it to be like this... Why won't you let me go... Why..."
Jennifer knew that this whole situation was because of her, and Leo wouldn't let her off the hook easily.
Queenie walked over and hugged her, comforting her.
After all, Jennifer was just a child.
And she did bear some responsibility for the situation spiraling out of control.
"Teacher... why won't he let me go... I just want to take the SAT, go to school far away, and stay away from this devil. But why do they never let me go? Teacher, I didn't want to come with them, but they took my bag, and I had no choice but to come with them."
Queenie gently touched the back of Jennifer's head, saying, "Don't be afraid. Bad people will face consequences."
"No, they won't," Jennifer cried uncontrollably, "These rich people won't face consequences. In the end, it's always people like us, without money or power, who suffer."
Hearing this, Queenie felt a pang in her chest.
"Why?" Leo leaned against the wall, his deranged laughter filling the air, "...because you look obedient! I hate those seemingly well-behaved students the most. I want to drag you into the abyss, hahaha..."
Queenie glared at Leo, saying, "You're beyond redemption!"
"Queenie! Stop!" Pollard scolded in a low voice, "This has nothing to do with you! It's between this girl and Kate. Stop getting involved."
Queenie was taken aback by Pollard's words. She looked at him in disbelief, asking, "Are you really saying this?"
Leo continued his maniacal laughter, "Ms. Lorente, your boyfriend is trying to absolve you of responsibility... Don't worry, you're involved too! Whoever messes with me today, I'll make sure they suffer. Nobody has dared to lay a finger on me since I was born. Just you wait, I'll take you all down one by one!"
As the laughter subsided, Lilith entered the room, her face pale.
She quickly grabbed Pollard's hand and reprimanded, "What are you doing here?"
Then, she forced a smile at Leo, "Young Master, this has nothing to do with my son. He and Queenie broke up a long time ago. Please don't be upset. I'll take him away now."
After saying that, Lilith forcefully pulled Pollard along.
Pollard glanced at Queenie and said, "You should leave too, stop meddling here."
Queenie's gaze suddenly sharpened, "Lilith, how did you know Leo was here?"
Benoit chuckled and added, "Pollard, you've grown up too. You should start thinking for yourself. Think about how coincidental it is that your mother showed up right at this moment to save you?"
