Chapter 100 The Otherworldly Farm Plan Was Implemented

David had been tossing around the team of about a hundred people for about twenty days. They were all nervous at the sound of such a fierce statement.
Impact sounds continued to ring out as they put on their armor and formed various formations. The cavalry mounted their horses, allowing the horses to adapt to the sudden increase in weight.
"Hurry up!" Brian rode his horse to the front of the tank heavy armor team, urging them on.
The most troublesome part of the armor was the infantry heavy armor. Gabriel now also had a set of infantry heavy armor, which had been modified to fit his size.
Three minutes quickly passed, and the tank-heavy armor team lined up behind the sword and shield soldiers, holding long machetes, their eyes scanning the distance from their helmets.
In front of the team, in the direction of the mountain forest, about 1312 feet away from the mountain forest, the sword and shield soldiers were at the forefront, the tank heavy armor soldiers were interspersed in the middle, followed by the long spear soldiers, and the longbow team was at the back, ready to shoot their bows.
The target of the military exercise was still unknown, and they were all on high alert.
"Signal the War Wolf Battle Squad, it can begin!" Henry said coldly.
"Yes!"
David nodded and quickly took out a red flag from his pocket, raised it, and waved it three times. This was one of the signal transmission methods designed by Henry, using flags. Waving the flag three times meant that they could start.
Shortly after, loud noises came from the mountain forest. Henry's mouth curled up when he heard them; these were the firecrackers he had brought from Earth!
The army was in a commotion, all of them looking in shock toward the direction of the mountain forest; the sound of the firecrackers had startled them.
Not to mention that they were startled—David, Charles, and the others—Mila even blocked Henry with five military knives in her hand.
"Alright, that's my secret weapon; there's no danger." Henry rubbed Mila's head. What he said 'no danger' meant that there weren't too many firecrackers.
"Secret weapon?" Mila hesitated for a moment before putting away the military knives.
The ground suddenly trembled slightly, and then there was a rumbling sound coming from the direction of the mountain forest as if a huge creature was taking steps.
"They're here!" Henry said softly.
As soon as he finished speaking, a group of buffaloes rushed out of the mountain forest, three to four hundred pounds each. They ran wildly as if predators were chasing them from behind.
The people on the team were dumbfounded; their military exercise target was buffaloes. Many of them were ready to give up; they knew better than anyone what kind of existence buffaloes were.
An adult buffalo was not something anyone dared to provoke; one wrong move could be fatal, not to mention the lineup of hundreds of buffaloes in front of them.
A single charge would result in the deaths of dozens of people. Those several hundred-pound buffaloes had enough force to easily send people flying.
"Stand still! If you can't even handle a group of buffaloes, I'll treat you like buffaloes to train." David's loud voice roared.
Immediately, the commotion subsided; they were no longer the commoners who only knew how to plant wheat but Henry's soldiers.
There was a reason why Henry used buffaloes as the target of the military exercise. The buffaloes had been digging up his wheat. When he came to inspect, he found that his entire field of wheat had been destroyed. After the War Wolf Battle Squad investigated, they found that there were many buffaloes in the mountain forest.
That day, several delicious dishes appeared in Henry's mind, such as beef stew and so on!
So, today's military exercise involved hunting buffaloes. The aim was to prevent the buffaloes herd from returning to the wheat fields, as they would wreak havoc if allowed to do so.
The buffaloes, scared by the firecrackers, charged towards the army.
"Longbow team, fire!" Charles ordered.
Twenty long arrows arched into the group of buffaloes, many of them piercing the buffaloes and a few hitting the vital points, killing them instantly.
After only three times, the first buffaloes had already reached the sword and shield soldiers.
The sword and shield soldiers pushed their legs back, using their bodies and shoulders to withstand the first wave of attacks from the buffaloes.
The fierce buffaloes slammed into the shields, and a few of the weaker sword and shield soldiers were pushed back. Gabriel saw this and rushed up with his machete, directly killing the buffaloes, continuously wielding the machete like a meat grinder, filling in the gaps. Several members of the tank heavy armor team followed suit.
"Longbow team, free fire!"
"Long spear team, attack." Charles roared, issuing two consecutive orders.
The long spear team, following the orders, wielded their long spears and easily harvested the lives of the buffaloes.
The longbow team, equipped with recurve bows, shot their arrows at close range, with half of them directly hitting the buffaloes.
"Cavalry, ambush!" Another command was issued.
The cavalry readied themselves, and their warhorses immediately set into motion. They roamed around the outskirts of the buffalo herd, harvesting the stragglers with their sabers.
For a well-equipped army, dealing with a group of buffaloes was quite simple. In terms of training courage, it could be considered barely qualified.
David and others also saw many shortcomings in this battle and feared that these soldiers would have to be trained even harder.
"Tell them to capture them alive if possible, especially the buffalo cubs." Henry turned and said to David.
"Yes!" David never asked why he had to capture them; he immediately went to convey the order.
"Henry, do you want to raise the little buffaloes?" Mila asked softly.
"Yes! I do. Winter is coming, and it's just the right time to raise them for four months." Henry nodded. He did have this plan. There was no such thing as domestic cattle in this era; they were all buffaloes.
He planned to set up a breeding farm, tame the buffaloes, and gradually improve them into domestic cattle. In the future, Eldoria would not be short of meat and would not have to rely on hunters to hunt for meat.
"But, Henry, there's not much to feed these little buffaloes in winter." Mila reminded in a low voice and then glanced at Charles not far away.
"Who told you?" Henry raised an eyebrow, smiling mysteriously.
"Henry, this is not the south. It will snow heavily in winter, and it will be difficult to pasture grass." Mila said anxiously. She was worried that Henry, who came from the south, did not understand the climate of the west.
After all, that's how Henry introduced himself at the beginning, saying that he came from a mysterious kingdom in the east.
