Chapter 26 We Just Want to Serve You

"Henry, let me see what's going on."
Mila took out her military knife and briskly stepped forward. She wouldn't allow anything to threaten Henry. After a short while, she signaled for Henry to come forward.
"What's going on?" Henry asked with a frown, looking at the chaotic crowd with an uneasy expression.
"Henry, they insist on seeing you," Zachary respectfully said from the side.
He wasn't afraid at all. After all, it was Henry who had given him the authority to guard this valley. No one could enter or leave without a token. It was a top-secret location.
"Lord Henry, we've succeeded. We've successfully refined the technique of turning clay into stone." The leader of the group was an old man holding a stone in his arms.
Henry knew him. He was Sebastian, a rather talented mason from Eldoria, whom he had recruited to refine something.
"Oh? You really succeeded?" Henry's eyes brightened, and he quickly asked, "Where is it? Hurry up and show me."
"Lord Henry, it's here!" Sebastian quickly put down the stone in his hand, excitedly saying, "My lord, we haven't eaten your food and meat in vain."
This statement made Henry understand why Sebastian and the others were so excited and eager to see him.
In the past few days, Sebastian and his companions felt like they were in heaven. Every day, they were given large loaves of bread and large pieces of meat to eat, which was much better than their previous life of alternating between hunger and satiety.
They were afraid that if they didn't produce what Lord Henry had ordered, the noble lord would be disappointed and drive them away. Then they wouldn't be able to eat the large loaves of bread and big pieces of meat anymore.
Living in trepidation for these few days, Sebastian and his companions finally managed to produce something called cement. They also followed Lord Henry's previous instructions and tried to join two stones together with cement.
They foolishly stared at the two stones all night, and when they moved the two stones after dawn, they found that they had truly become one. Sebastian and his companions were overjoyed and immediately wanted to find Henry with the stone.
Henry squatted down and carefully looked at the stones that were joined together with cement. He touched them with his hand and said to Zachary, "Zachary, break it open."
"Yes!"
Zachary held the stone and smashed it against a large stone not far away. After several consecutive smashes, the two stones were separated, and one of them was still stuck with cement.
"It's qualified!" Henry said with a satisfied smile. Although what was burnt out was clay cement, it was still a revolutionary product. Cement was very important.
Sebastian and the others laughed heartily, their tears of joy flowing out. They did not disappoint Lord Henry, and they had secured their bread and meat.
"Very good, what rewards do you want? You can all speak up and let me hear." Henry generously said.
Sebastian and the others looked at each other, all smiling cautiously. It seemed that they had already discussed it beforehand.
"The reward we want is to serve you." Sebastian and the others shouted in unison.
"You're presumptuous!" Zachary scolded coldly.
In his view, there were too many people who wanted to serve Henry. A few craftsmen wanted to serve Henry, which was a bit too much. Now, in Eldoria, who doesn't know that serving Henry is the best job, with no worries about food and clothing?
Sebastian and the others quickly knelt down. They knew that their request was a bit excessive. After all, once they became servants, it meant that Henry had to support them. Of course, their lives would also belong to Henry.
Henry smiled helplessly. These people were too simple. As long as they were fed, they would give their lives to him.
"Alright, I agree. As long as you work hard, you can eat as much bread and meat as you want."
In fact, since Sebastian and his companions entered this valley, they were no different from Henry's servants. Now they were just being officially recognized, especially as cement was a top-secret item for him.
"Yes, we will work hard." Sebastian and the others respectfully shouted.
"Very good, increase the production of cement. I want a lot of cement in three days." Henry said solemnly, "Also, make sure to take good care of your protection. No one is allowed to take off that mask."
"Yes!"
"Go on."
Henry waved them away. Today was a joyful day. With the appearance of cement, he could start transforming Eldoria.
"Let's go and see another thing." Henry smiled and walked towards another yard.
The two of them arrived at another yard, where they saw many racks with blocks of something drying on them.
"Lord Henry is here." Someone with sharp eyes spotted Henry and quickly shouted.
Immediately, seven or eight people ran over and respectfully saluted Henry.
"How's it going? Have you made any progress?" Henry asked, looking at the things drying in the sun.
"My lord, the first batch has already come out and is being cut into shape," someone respectfully replied.
"Very good; bring it over, and let me see." Henry's eyes sparkled slightly.
Immediately, someone ran into the house and came out after a while, holding a large stack of something.
