Chapter 38 Henry isn't Human?

In the early morning, the time when the sun basks in its glory, Mila opened her eyes, still drowsy from the late-night antics with Ellie. It was around two or three in the morning when they finally succumbed to sleep.
Mila furrowed her brows, lifting the blanket to find Ellie's mischievous hand resting on her chest. She pouted, looking at the peacefully sleeping Ellie.
Mila remembered the two or three years she had shared a bed with Ellie, her hand always put on her chest. Perhaps that's why my chest had grown fully?
The movement of the blanket woke Ellie, who rubbed her eyes, twitching her fox ears. "Mila, Good morning." she lazily greeted.
"Morning," Mila yawned. The two lay in silence, savoring a moment of tranquility as if they had traveled back to the winter when they first met.
"Mila, are you really not leaving?" Ellie suddenly spoke. "That Henry, maybe he's not as good as you think. It could all be a pretense."
"No, Henry is a good person," Mila replied anxiously. "He doesn't discriminate against beastmen."
"Maybe he just likes your beauty? You are very beautiful," Ellie remarked, having seen too many corrupt nobles.
"No, Henry is not like that," Mila defended. "You just don't know him. Once you get to know him, you won't think that."
Mila knew that Henry was not simply attracted to her looks. If he did, he could have had her when she was in the dungeon, and she wouldn't be free today.
"Really? Mila, you've changed a bit, haven't you? You used to despise the nobles, but now..." Ellie's eyes glistened.
"Because Henry is different from those rotten nobles. He's not human... I mean, he's not an ordinary person," Mila blurted out in a hurry.
"Well, then, I'll observe him closely today. If I find out he has any other schemes, you'll have to leave with me," Ellie said seriously.
"There are no schemes, absolutely. I trust Henry," Mila said, her face unusually determined.
"You've been seduced by Henry's charm. What I saw is the truth," Ellie said, being serious while saying something teasing.
"What? You're the one who's been seduced," Mila retorted, her cheeks slightly flushed.
Ellie's stomach suddenly growled. She looked at Mila, blinked playfully, and said,
"Then let's get up to wash up, and I'll take you to eat breakfast... I mean, lunch." Mila corrected herself quickly.
In the bathroom, Ellie was like a curious baby, asking all sorts of questions, especially about the toothpaste, which made her mouth full of foam, and she accidentally choked, finding it all very amusing.
It was Ellie's first time experiencing the luxury of the nobles. There was something called soap for bathing, and after using it, her whole body smelled wonderful. It was also at that moment that she realized how unkempt she had been.
After the bath, she felt even the air was fresh. According to Mila, this was something only available at Henry's place, and other nobles had never even heard of soap.
Now, even the tooth brushing had something called a toothbrush and toothpaste. In the past, she would just rinse her mouth with water; now, after brushing her teeth, she felt her breath was fresh.
'The evil nobles... But why am I so envious?' Ellie shouted in her heart. Who wouldn't like such a life?
Mila glanced at Ellie's appearance, her mouth involuntarily curling up. She used to be just like that.
"This toothbrush and toothpaste are only available here, at Henry's place. Other nobles don't have them. They just rinse their mouths with water." Mila praised her own Henry.
"I got it!" Ellie pouted, not wanting to talk much now. This was completely different from what she had learned about noble life.
"The Love Notes of a Noble Girl is a lie. That Lucy, she couldn't be a princess, could she? Otherwise, she wouldn't have written the noble's customs wrong, right?"
Ellie's mind was filled with various thoughts. Even with her intelligence, she couldn't imagine Henry's noble life. In this world, only he was like this.
"Let's go. It's time to eat," Mila said, leading Ellie to the dining hall.
When the two arrived, the food was already on the table, and Henry had just come in.
"Good afternoon, both of you." Henry greeted me with a light smile.
"Henry, good afternoon." Mila quickly greeted. She held Ellie's head with a hand and pressed it down slightly, causing Ellie to lower her head.
"No need for so much formality, let's start eating," Henry said with a smile, looking at the fox girl with her puffed-up cheeks, feeling quite amused.
Ellie stared at Henry, who exuded a gentle aura all over his body. She didn't sense any malice or desire from him, only a pair of clear black eyes.
"Is he really not discriminating against beastmen?" Ellie could feel the intentions of others. If someone had bad thoughts towards her, her hair would stand on end.
Henry was not a native of this world, nor had he been baptized by culture.  He had been influenced by the core values of the socialist society and various anime from his previous life.
He could objectively say that a living catgirl, a fox girl, was something he had only seen in fantasy. Perhaps in his previous life, he was a good person, so he can see them in reality.
Ellie didn't dare to be presumptuous now. Although in front of Mila, no matter how much she doubted Henry, she was still intimidated by him at this moment, especially by his gorgeous and exquisite clothes. Among all the clothes she had seen, none could compare to Henry's.
Could he be the prince who had come to the remote place?
