Chapter 191 The State of Mind of a Catgirl

Early in the morning, after his morning routine, Henry finished his breakfast and headed to the study. He spent his time either attending to his duties or expanding his knowledge.

To shape Eldoria into his ideal vision, knowledge was indispensable. After all, he was the one responsible for planning and organizing everything.

Currently, Henry was revisiting a physics book, refreshing his memory on the subject he had studied years ago.

He noted down the knowledge he deemed suitable for the next five to six years in this era, which would be taught in Eldoria.

This task demanded a great deal of mental effort from Henry. Simply transcribing the content was easy, but presenting it in a different format was challenging.

"Flames burn the air, producing various gases such as carbon dioxide and helium, which have lower densities than the air..." Henry muttered softly as he wrote, closing his notebook after finishing.

Henry let out a sigh of relief. He had completed half of the tutorial for the university in the other world. The knowledge he was imparting was equivalent to what one would learn in a middle school on Earth.

As for the university itself, it was still in the planning stage. The elementary school had just opened, and it would take a long time for the children to graduate.

"Oh, the principle of air expanding when heated and contracting when cooled... Can we make a hot air balloon?" Henry had a sudden inspiration, but he set the thought aside for later.

"Henry, take a break." Mila's gentle voice came from beside him, as she handed him a pack of fried fish.

"Sure!" Henry was slightly surprised, then smiled, picked up a piece of fried fish, and slowly savored it. It was deliciously crispy.

He turned to look at Mila, who was sitting on the edge of the desk, her slender legs occasionally swaying. It felt like life had returned to normal, as if the catgirl had never left.

"Ellie, Tess, and the others went to the pizza shop again?" Henry asked as he picked up another piece of fried fish.

"Yes, they went out after breakfast, and Ellie even brought some work to do at the pizza shop," Mila replied with a light laugh.

"Really, they're still excited about it after a few days," Henry sighed helplessly. It had been three days since the pizza shop opened.

The business at the pizza shop was doing well, apart from an employee named Elisa. Willow had also brought two maids from the castle to help out.

For a newly opened store, business was usually good. It was impossible for just the three of them to handle everything, but there was no need to hire more people. So, Willow went to help temporarily, while Tess and Ellie were just there to have fun.

"Henry, this is the document Ellie asked me to give you this morning." Mila said, pulling out a file from under her butt and handing it to Henry.

"Oh?" Henry took it and looked through it. "Customs duties, it seems to be going well. Indeed, merchants are the major taxpayers. The taxes paid by these merchants are several times more than what Eldoria collects."

As for whether there were any troubles with the taxes, after seeing that other fleets could leave while their goods were detained, they all obediently paid the customs duties.

Henry continued to read and saw the news of his own fleet setting sail, heading to Hyratos. Some goods could be sold, such as linen and salt, and it could also bring the goods ordered by the Lord of Hyratos.

And most importantly, some of the commoners from Hyratos had also sent letters back, calling on their friends to come and work in Eldoria.

When it came to government affairs, Mila just listened quietly, not understanding much, so she didn't interrupt, just chewing on the fried fish.

"Mila, I'm usually fine in the castle, you can go out with Ellie and the others," Henry suddenly spoke.

He didn't want the catgirl to be bored in the study all day, alone.

Mila was slightly stunned, her blue eyes shimmering, and then she smiled. "Okay."

Well, Henry knew he was just talking nonsense. When this catgirl was insincere, her eyes couldn't meet his, and her cat ears drooped.

"Can't do anything with you, really." Henry didn't try to persuade her anymore. What the catgirl insisted on would not change unless he forcibly modified it, such as staying by his side.

"Henry, life is already good now, I won't feel bored." Mila said softly, her blue eyes filled with tranquility. She was very satisfied with her current life.

Mila's current state of mind had washed away her impetuosity, and the plain and slightly novel life made her very fascinated.

Henry shrugged. Maybe, if he sat still for a day, he would probably go crazy, he was thinking about whether to bring more novels.

Henry suddenly thought of an idea, but before he could say anything, the door was knocked.

"Henry, the War Wolf Battle Squad are back." Wyatt's voice sounded.

"Oh?" Henry's eyes lit up. After eight days, they were finally back?

He said, "Come in!"

The door was pushed open, Wyatt was holding a box, and Leo was behind him, still holding a linen bag that was constantly wriggling.

"You've worked hard!" Henry looked at Leo's slightly thinner cheeks, it seemed that he was very tired.

"Not hard, this is my mission." Leo's head was slightly excited, he felt that the eight days of hard work were worth it with Henry's concerns.

"Did you find what I wanted?" Henry asked.

"I don't know, but I found something similar to the drawings, so I brought it back." Leo grinned.

Henry nodded. "Bring it over!"

Wyatt opened the box first, then placed it on Henry's desk. This was to prevent any poisonous gas, which showed that Wyatt was a very meticulous person.

"It's huge!" Henry looked at the tree-like thing in the box, carefully pinched off a small piece, put it in his mouth and chewed, his eyes lit up.

"Yes, it is right, this is a plant with therapeutic effects." Henry nodded affirmatively.

After the four members of the War Wolf Battle Squad escorted Mila and Emily to the Azure Peak Range, their secret mission was to find this plant. Originally, Henry was thinking of sending someone to look for it next spring, but it happened that Emily wanted to return to the tribe, so they decided to do it together.

I didn't expect to find this plant. Henry just needed to bring it back to Earth for identification. If it was genuine, this box of this plant would probably fetch a high price.
