Chapter 91 The Next Moment Became Reality
Lunchtime arrived, and Henry had just settled into his seat when he heard laughter outside.
"Haha... Don't run; I'll teach you a lesson!"
Even before seeing her, he recognized Ellie's mischievous playfulness in that peculiar move.
Henry's initial concern eased, and he chuckled, "Seems like they're getting along well."
Emily said, "Don't you dare, you pervert. Can't catch me!"
A scream followed by a teasing voice, and soon enough, the Bunny Girl with pink hair dashed into the dining hall.
Emily rushed in, her eyes immediately locking onto Henry in the main seat. The laughter seemed to freeze; her body tensed, and her rabbit ears stood upright, occasionally twitching. Her hands fidgeted, much like a caught little girl.
"Am I that scary?" Henry's handsome face displayed a wry smile.
"No..." Emily replied.
Emily nervously trembled, her face turning red, unable to form words.
Ellie shouted, "Catch you!"
Ellie's figure appeared, her triumphant laughter filling the room. She pounced on Emily, her hands tickling in a rather sensitive area.
"Stop... Ellie, you pervert..."
Emily felt a tightness in her chest, her cheeks visibly reddening. She pushed Ellie away, taking two cautious steps back, warily watching Ellie's hands.
"Haha... Got you!" Ellie's brown eyes gleamed with mischief.
Henry's light cough caught Ellie off guard. She mechanically turned her head, meeting Henry's dark gaze, which inexplicably made her heart skip a beat, and she quickly turned away, her face flushed.
"Looks like you're having fun." Henry's lips twitched. Playing like this in front of him was quite tempting.
"Yes, we are!" Ellie quickly put on a serious act, but her constantly swaying fox tail exposed her shy heart.
Ellie thought, 'No... What should I do? Henry saw it; he saw it. I'm not a pervert; it's just... it's just soft and comfortable, that's all.'
Ellie comforted herself in her mind, then looked down at her flat chest, unable to resist trembling her fingers. She felt a bit disheartened.
Willow walked in with a plate of food, and seeing Emily's embarrassed face, she smiled gently, "Looks like Ellie caught you!"
"What's going on?" Mila appeared behind Willow and, seeing Ellie's expression, immediately laughed, "Ellie, stop looking. It won't change anything, no matter how you look at it."
Ellie's frustrated voice rang out as she tugged at her fox ears, exasperatedly shouting, "You mutant cat girl, be careful not to lose your balance! You might fall."
"I'm not sure why, but my shoulders have been really achy recently," Mila remarked, gesturing with her arms in what seemed like a distressed manner. However, the slight upward curve of her mouth indicated she was actually boasting.
"You, you..." Ellie's mouth hung open, her brown eyes filled with envy, and she pouted, "Serves you right!"
Emily stared in astonishment at Ellie and Mila's bickering, then looked a bit lost as she turned to Willow, her light red eyes filled with questions.
"It's okay, don't worry. Despite their bickering, they actually have a good relationship."
Willow said with a hint of envy, "Sometimes, the more they argue, the better their relationship. It's another way of expressing a strong bond, and sometimes I envy that!"
Henry tilted his head, resting his cheek on his hand. He felt like he was watching an anime, and his mood inexplicably became cheerful.
"Is that so?" Emily tugged at her rabbit ears, her face filled with confusion.
"Alright, don't dwell on it. It's time for lunch." Willow said softly.
As soon as she finished speaking, Mila and Ellie sat down at the table, eagerly looking at the maid who was bringing in the lunch.
"Please, have a seat!" Willow pulled Emily to the table and asked her to sit on Henry's left.
"Serve the food!" Willow instructed the maid, then placed the food she had been holding in front of Henry.
"What's this?"
Henry looked at the various dishes in front of him, then turned to Ellie and Mila, only to find them looking at him expectantly; even Emily was no exception.
"This, this isn't something you guys made, is it?" Henry had a bad feeling.
And it came true the next second.
"Yes! I made that Roasted Vegetable Salad," Ellie immediately raised her hand and pointed to a whole tomato on the plate, proudly saying, "Henry, you see, a whole tomato must taste better than sliced."
"And that bowl of seafood chowder, I made it. You have been a bit tired recently, so you should replenish his strength." Mila said, her hand clenched, full of worry.
Henry looked at the whole uncut tomato, and he thought that the sticky liquid in this egg couldn't all be syrup, could it?
Also, the seafood chowder made by the catgirl. It would make Henry nosebleed if he ate them.
Henry took a deep breath. These two are also considered. What about the two clusters of unkempt things in front of him?
"What about this?" Henry held up a fist-sized, gray, unknown object and knocked it on the table, making a strange sound. He didn't want to hear that this was also food.
"That, that, that's the hamburger I made." Emily raised her hand nervously and added in a small voice, "It's a meat hamburger!"
Another bad feeling came true: a thing that could be used as a weapon turned out to be a magical hamburger.
Henry's eyelids twitched, and he looked at Mila and asked, "Mila, is this what you've been keeping secret?"
"Yes! It's our surprise for you. These are all things we've come up with, and we haven't troubled Willow at all." Mila shook her cat ears, looking expectant.
Ellie leaned over the table, eagerly calling out, "Henry, you should give it a try and see if it's delicious."
"Surprise..." Henry glanced at Willow, who was covering her mouth and laughing; this was a surprise or a scare.
If he really ate it, then he would die at the age of twenty.
