Chapter 194 The Fallen Willow.
Leo and the others decided to find Soro and sell the chocolate. For them, it was too luxurious to eat, maybe this is the way small people survive.
As soon as the four of them arrived at the castle gate, they saw Willow leading Tess inside. They quickly greeted, "Miss Willow, Miss Tess!"
"Thank you for your hard work!" Willow said with a slight smile. She knew Leo and the others were on a mission and seemed to have just returned.
"Serving Henry is not hard work." Leo quickly responded.
"Go ahead, I need to cook for Henry." Willow nodded and led Tess into the castle.
"Yes!"
Willow took care of Henry's three meals a day. Even if she didn't cook herself, she would supervise the kitchen. This was Willow's way of showing her care.
"Willow, what's for lunch today?" Tess touched her belly. She didn't dare to eat too much at the pizza place, or she wouldn't have room for the castle's delicacies.
"You already ate five pizzas, can you still eat?" Willow's gray eyes glanced at Tess's belly.
"I'm only half full, I can eat a lot more." Tess looked as if to reassure Willow that she was still very hungry.
"Alright, I need to ask Henry what he wants to eat." Willow's mouth twitched, remembering how Tess had devoured every pizza that came out of the kitchen earlier. With Ellie gone, the two of them could easily eat as much as five or six customers.
Willow decided to take Tess back to the castle. She couldn't stand Elisa's resentful looks otherwise.
Tess had now become the castle's biggest eater, even more than Mila. She thought, luckily they had Henry to support them. If other families had a few big eaters, they might go broke just feeding them.
"Henry should be in the study now," Tess said softly. Even though she had only been at the castle for a few days, she knew Henry spent his free time in the study.
"Tess, didn't you say you had an older sister?" Willow asked as they walked. "Why not bring her over, like the Emily tribe?"
"Well..." Tess's purple eyes wandered, thinking about the scolding she would get when she returned. She said awkwardly, "I'll go back in a while, not sure if she wants to come."
"Why?" Willow was curious.
"My older sister is very capable. She doesn't like relying on others and is often out looking for food." Tess couldn't help but touch her butt, remembering the spankings from her sister.
"I see. When are you going back?" Willow thought Tess's sister must be very independent.
"In a few days, we'll see!" Tess scratched her cheek, not worried about her sister. She wouldn't starve, and certainly not her sister.
"Okay!" Willow didn't ask further, seeing Tess's admiration and confidence in her sister.
Soon, they arrived outside the study. They could hear laughter from inside, making them curious. They gently pushed the door open...
At that moment, Henry was feeling helpless, looking at the panda clinging to his leg. The little guy was too clingy.
The panda's paws were wrapped around Henry's leg, refusing to let go. It bit his pant leg, shaking its head occasionally. Even when Henry moved the panda away, it would come right back.
As a result, the little guy kept rolling and rolling back to Henry's feet, living up to its name as a "rolling ball." It hugged Henry's leg again and started tugging at his pant leg...
Now Henry understood what it felt like for panda keepers on Earth. This little guy was a real troublemaker.
"Hahahaha..."
Mila and Ellie, standing nearby, were almost doubled over with laughter. It was their first time seeing Henry so helpless.
"Hey, hey... enough already? Still biting?" Henry shook his leg, but the little guy wouldn't let go.
The panda, having just filled its belly, was full of energy and kept clinging to Henry, following him everywhere. As soon as he stopped, it would hug his leg.
"Rip..."
The sound of fabric tearing echoed, and everyone froze. Even the little guy, holding a piece of pant leg in its mouth, was stunned for a moment before it started tugging again.
"..." Henry couldn't help but pat his forehead. He was beginning to wonder if keeping this little thing was the right decision or if he should consider Ellie's suggestion.
"Hahahaha..." Mila and Ellie laughed even harder, clutching their stomachs. "This little thing is too funny."
However, the panda wouldn't let the two of them get close. It would howl whenever they approached, possibly because they were beastmen. Henry, on the other hand, had no issues holding the panda.
"Really, I can't do anything with you!" Henry said affectionately, unable to bring himself to scold the little guy. The panda was just curious and playful.
"Click..."
The door opened, and Willow's eyes lit up as she stared at the panda. She quickly walked over to Henry and softly asked, "Henry? What's this little thing?"
"A panda, my first pet. What do you think? Isn't it cute?" Henry said proudly.
"Cute, can I hold it?" Willow asked quietly, as if afraid of scaring the panda.
"Of course." Henry nodded.
"Come here, little one, let me hold you." Willow squatted down and reached out to pick up the panda.
"Huh?" Mila and Ellie were astonished to see Willow effortlessly pick up the panda. Why couldn't they hold it? Was it because they wanted to kill it for meat?
"Hehehe... it tickles..." Willow giggled as the panda licked her.
"Be careful, it's quite fierce," Henry warned.
"Fierce?" No one present thought the little thing was fierce. It was just a cute, well-fed creature.
"I could handle as many of these as you bring," Tess said disinterestedly. To her, a six-month-old panda cub wasn't even enough for one meal.
"What are you saying? If you keep talking like that, no food for you," Willow scolded, holding the panda protectively. "This little guy is now part of the family. No one is allowed to harm it."
Henry looked at their expressions and knew what they were thinking. No one could imagine how clingy and destructive this little thing could be.
At that moment, only one phrase from Earth came to Henry's mind: "It could rely on its strength, but it chooses to live by being cute."
A panda is a bear, a very fierce bear. Don't be fooled by its cuteness now. When fully grown, a panda can take on three to five wolves. It would take a pack of twenty to thirty wolves to bring down a single panda.
This also reminded Henry that the beasts in the Azure Peak Range were starting to move outward. Even large wolf packs were appearing, indicating that the cold wave was sweeping towards the western lands.
