Chapter 92 Became a Teacher

"Alright, let's not make things difficult for Henry." Willow, understanding and compassionate, intervened, "There are still a few steps left for these dishes. They're not ready to be served yet."
"A few steps?" Ellie, puzzled, raised her hand, "Willow, what steps are left? Why can't we eat now?"
Ellie had full faith in Willow's cooking. Her Roasted Vegetable Salad was especially delicious, even without extra sugar.
"There are a couple more steps. These tomatoes are definitely not ripe. Eating them would upset your stomach." Willow earnestly explained that tomatoes can be eaten raw.
"I see!" Ellie came down from the table and turned to Henry. Henry, I'll cook it again next time."
After speaking, Ellie took out her notebook and started writing. Henry didn't need to look to see that she was jotting down her recipe for the Roasted Vegetable Salad.
"Willow, what about my seafood chowder?" Mila scratched her head, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Well, there's a small issue. You added too much seafood. It can cause nosebleeds if consumed in excess." Willow pointed out. The dietary advice was something Henry had taught her. One shouldn't consume too much of a highly nourishing ingredient at once.
"Um, Henry, maybe you shouldn't eat this one. I'll use less seafood next time." Mila said hastily upon hearing that overeating could cause nosebleeds, swiftly taking away the seafood chowder.
"Is there a problem with mine, too?" Emily glanced at her plain hamburger, speaking softly.
"It's just a small issue. I'll teach you next time." Willow said in a gentle tone.
"Okay!" Emily nodded quickly.
Henry wiped the sweat from his forehead, grateful to Willow for effortlessly diffusing the crisis.
Soon, Willow served lunch for Henry, and everyone sat down, waiting for him to start before they began eating.
"Let's dig in!" Henry picked up a side dish and took a bite.
"No! Mila, that's mine." Ellie protested.
"You can't finish all of it. Let me have some." Mila insisted.
"No way!"
Today's lunch consisted of rice, seasoned with flavors brought by Henry from Earth and cooked with potatoes.
It was Ellie and Mila's first time, and they immediately got caught up in a battle for the food.
Emily stared in astonishment at Mila and Ellie, who were fighting over each other's plates. What was going on?
"It's more delicious when you fight for it!" Henry chuckled, and then he took a piece of potato from Emily's bowl.
Emily hurriedly protected her bowl, her rabbit ears trembling, and pouted, "No!"
"Then you better eat quickly, or Ellie will come and take yours," Henry said as he put a piece of meat from his bowl into Willow's.
Emily was taken aback, and then she saw Ellie glancing over from time to time. She quickly stuffed a mouthful of food into her mouth.
Emily felt like she was flying; the rich, meaty flavor, combined with the sweet and soft potato, flooded her taste buds, making her almost forget to breathe. It was just too delicious.
"So delicious!" Emily exclaimed.
She swore that this was the most delicious food she had ever tasted, apart from the meat hamburger. She scooped several spoonfuls of food into her mouth.
Henry smiled as he watched the three beast-eared girls eating heartily, feeling that his tired heart had been healed.
"Henry, is it not to your liking?" Willow asked with a hint of worry.
"No, it's delicious. I was thinking how wonderful these days are." Henry smiled and then started eating seriously.
"Because of you." Willow's gray eyes glanced at Henry, and then she raised her hand and shouted, "I can't finish mine; who wants it?"
Her appetite was at a normal level, but this time, the portion was a bit large.
"Me!" Mila raised her head, still with crumbs in her mouth, and shouted, "Give it to me!"
"Mila, why do you eat so fast?" Ellie exclaimed.
"Because I want to gain weight!" Mila handed her bowl to Willow and glanced at Ellie's chest, raising an eyebrow.
"Damn it! Mutant catwoman."
Emily completely ignored the others, enjoying her meal, and then tragically discovered that her bowl was empty.
Emily stared blankly at the empty bowl, then at the half bowl of food that Willow had given to Mila, and couldn't help but lick her lips. Now, she fully understood what Henry meant. Food tastes better when you fight for it, and now she really wanted to fight for it.
"Here, I'll give you half of mine."
Henry's gentle voice sounded, and Emily stared blankly at her bowl, which now had an extra half bowl of food.
"Go ahead! I can't eat that much, and we shouldn't waste food." Henry said calmly.
Emily looked at Henry's smiling face, then lowered her head to her bowl. She didn't know why, but there was a slight flutter in her heart.
Perhaps, as Ellie said, there were good people among the nobles, like the nobleman in front of her who was willing to share half of his food.
Lunch was spent in laughter, and now everyone, except Willow, was sprawled in their chairs, feeling a bit full.
Then came another cup of tea, and life couldn't be better than this.
Emily took a sip of the tea, and the bitterness made her face scrunch up, and her rabbit ears drooped, but the subsequent sweetness made her eyes sparkle.
"Isn't it just like life? Bitter before sweet!" Henry said with a smile, "You have to taste the bitterness to appreciate the sweetness truly."
Emily nodded in confusion. She gently put down the teacup and asked softly, "Henry, can I find a job here?"
Yes, Emily planned to find a job in Eldoria. Seeing is believing, and she wanted to verify what Ellie said.
If she could work in Eldoria and support herself, then she would bring all the orcs from her tribe here without having to go to the unknown south.
"Sure, what kind of job are you looking for?" Henry nodded gently. He understood part of her thoughts. Only by keeping busy can one find peace of mind.
"I, I don't know!" Emily blushed.
"You can read, right?" Henry twirled the teacup.
"I can read. I've read many books." Emily nodded quickly. There were seven or eight human books in her tribal room.
"Then you can be a teacher!" Henry put down the teacup and said softly, "The school is in great need of teachers."
