Chapter 15 The Beginning of a Strong Military Plan

It's been two days since the Wyatt family pledged their allegiance, and today is the day for recruiting soldiers.
During these two days, the castle has undergone many changes, with the Wyatt family managing it efficiently.
The castle is divided into three sections: the front, middle, and back. The front is where the servants and guards reside, while Wyatt and his sons live there as well, never venturing into the back.
Wyatt also established a rule that only women, besides Henry, are allowed in the back.
The middle section is where discussions take place, and it also serves as a reception. Henry's study, the most heavily guarded place, is located here.
The back is where Henry sleeps, and there's also a backyard. Only Henry, Mila, Willow, and a few newly hired maids have access to the back.
Wyatt is now Henry's steward, managing the castle's security and defense.
Ruby, on the other hand, is the castle's housekeeper, and after Henry taught her several dishes, the kitchen became her favorite place to be.
Willow has become the head maid, personally attending to Henry. If he rejected her, her eyes fill with tears, leaving Henry with no choice.
David and his four brothers have become Henry's knights, responsible for patrolling the castle and training every day.
Vincent and two others have become the castle's three scribes, handling tax matters and criminal disputes.
In just two days, Eldoria's administration has been put in order, much to Henry's relief.
In the study, Henry stood by the window, silently watching the gathering below.
"Henry, it may be difficult to find soldiers as your requirements," Wyatt said, standing at the desk.
He glanced around the study, finding it to be the most luxurious one he had ever seen.
On that wall, there was a black-and-white painting of eight majestic horses with a few strange words.
Next to the desk, there was a huge ceramic piece resembling a water tank, with scrolls of calligraphy and painting on top.
And on the bookshelf, there were bottles of crystal glass-made liquor, even more luxurious than those in the palace.
If an Earthling were here, they would say this is the CEO's office.
Henry turned around, looking at the tidy office, feeling very pleased, except for a catgirl sitting on his desk, gnawing on a piece of beef.
He helplessly tapped Mila and said, "Why sit on my desk when there are chairs available?"
"And I've told you so many times, Uncle Wyatt, just call my name," Henry said helplessly.
"Henry, you are a noble now, and certain etiquette must be observed, or it will be a subject of ridicule," Wyatt said seriously and persistently.
"Moreover, some of the etiquette is customized by you, and a noble should not neglect them."
Wyatt's words made Mila nod repeatedly, saying seriously, "Henry, we are all your representatives now, and we must follow certain etiquette."
Now, everyone in the castle calls Henry his name, including Mila.
However, when Henry looked at the catgirl with her mouth full of oil, sitting on the desk with her full buttock, he didn't see any of the etiquette she mentioned.
"Alright!" Henry helplessly sat on the chair covered with wolf fur and said seriously, "It's okay if there are fewer recruits. What I want is elite soldiers, just like David."
"Henry, that's not realistic," Wyatt rolled his eyes. David and his four brothers were trained rigorously since childhood, and each of them could take on ten opponents.
"So, I want them to be strong so that they can quickly form combat effectiveness. I'd rather have fewer but better ones," Henry said, spreading his hands.
Wyatt shook his head. He had seen Henry's plan two days ago, and he suspected that it would be good if fifty people could pass the test.
"Henry, with so few people, Eldoria can't be defended," Wyatt reminded.
"Ha..." Henry's mouth curled up, and he laughed lightly, "Who said we have to defend the city?"
"Huh? Not defend? Are we going to attack?" Wyatt and Mila were both stunned.
"Don't worry, you'll find out later. Now, let's go and select the people," Henry said mysteriously, leading the way out.
Mila, still confused and holding a piece of beef, immediately followed, leaving behind a puzzled Wyatt, who caught up after a while.
When the three of them arrived outside the castle, they saw David and the others solemnly shouting, "Today, Lord Henry is recruiting soldiers to guard Eldoria. As long as the candidates pass the trial, there will be meat to eat every day, and it will be a big piece of meat."
As soon as the words fell, Brian and Adam carried a three or four-hundred-pound wild boar, which was a well-prepared wild boar.
Charles lit a fire next to it and directly roasted the wild boar on the fire while Ruby, following Henry's instructions, added spices.
In no time, the rich aroma of meat spread, making the surrounding people's eyes turn sparkling and their breathing quicken.
A pound of meat costs more than ten copper coins, and some people can go for years without eating meat in Eldoria.
Now, there is a big fat pig in front of them. If it weren't for Charles and the others holding long swords and standing next to it, I'm afraid they would have already rushed up to grab the meat.
