Chapter 124 Hooking Up with Some People

"Henry, Zachary is back and waiting for you in the living room," Ellie said with a serious expression.
"Oh? He's back?" Henry's eyes lit up. He had just finished his morning exercise and shower, and this was indeed good news.
"Yes, and he brings some good news," Ellie nodded. She knew the crucial moment was approaching, and once they dealt with the bandits, they could have a good winter.
"Let's go!" Henry shook his wet hair. It had been almost three months since his last haircut, and his hair was now almost touching his shoulders.
Ellie, seeing this, held a maid back and whispered, "Get me a clean towel."
"Yes!"
When Henry entered the living room, he saw Zachary sitting upright, with a plate of chocolate cake in front of him, piled high.
As soon as Zachary saw Henry, he stood up straight and saluted, "Henry, I have not failed in my duties."
"You've worked hard. Please, continue eating and tell me what happened." Henry waved his hand, indicating Zachary to sit down.
Zachary then recounted Hayden's arrangements, the negotiation with the Lord of Hyratos, Brandon's arrival, and the behavior of the merchants.
After listening, Henry's eyes lit up. The arrival of the merchants was a pleasant surprise. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "Four medium-sized transport ships are now docked on the other side of the Serene River?"
"Yes!"
"Very good. With these four ships, we can do a lot." Henry said with satisfaction. The negotiations and the Lord of Hyratos' request for support were in line with his expectations.
"Brandon is here and wishes to see you," Ellie reported, holding the towel next to Henry.
"Let him in!" Henry nodded. He expected someone to come and urge him to send reinforcements, but he didn't expect it to be Brandon.
"Yes!" Someone immediately went to deliver the message.
Ellie came up behind Henry with the towel and gently dried his wet hair. This surprised Henry. The usually playful fox-eared girl was rarely quiet.
"Henry, would you like me to braid your hair?" Ellie teased, running her fingers through his soft black hair. "I'm sure it would be a good look."
Henry retracted his previous thoughts. This fox-eared girl actually wanted to play with his hair.
Soon, Brandon arrived, looking serious. Of course, it would have been better if there were no crumbs from the hamburger at the corner of his mouth.
"This is Brandon, Lord Henry." Brandon greeted them with a noble gesture.
"Mr. Brandon, it's good to see you again," Henry greeted in return, motioning for him to sit.
"Lord Henry, please, you must save Hyratos," Brandon pleaded, his final task being to urge Eldoria to send troops.
"Of course, once the supplies are ready, we will depart immediately," Henry affirmed. "We will leave at the latest this afternoon."
"Thank you very much, Lord Henry!" Brandon bowed again.
"Have a breakfast in the castle," Henry called for a maid.
"It's my honor!"
Brandon's eyes lit up, but then he felt a little regretful. If he had known, he wouldn't have eaten so many hamburgers earlier, and he would have saved his appetite for the food in the castle.
Brandon followed the maid at the door, and he encountered Mila with wet hair. He stepped aside to let her pass. He wanted to live in Eldoria in the future. Even if the other party was an orc, he still wanted to be polite.
Mila was a little confused. Wasn't this nobleman a bit arrogant last time? Why was he so polite this time, even letting her go first?
"Great, everyone is here. Let's have a pre-battle meeting!" Henry waved to Mila, and everyone gathered.
"Henry, leave it to me. I'll lead the troops and make sure to clean up the bandits," Wyatt bowed, performing a knight's salute.
Henry shook his head and said in a deep voice, "Uncle Wyatt, you need to stay in the castle in Eldoria. This time, I will go personally."
"No!"
Before Wyatt could speak, Mila immediately shouted, "I'll go for Henry!"
Ellie, excited, grabbed Henry's hair and exclaimed, "Henry, you can't go! What if something happens to you?"
"Henry, Hyratos is too dangerous." Willow softly advised. "It's better for you to stay in the rear."
"Be gentle." Henry held Ellie's hand gently and said, "Don't be afraid. I'm not going to the battlefield to fight."
"In any case, it's not possible. The battlefield is very dangerous. If it is still safe, but I'm afraid of accidents."
Ellie held Henry's hand, persuading him pitifully, "Henry, you have elite soldiers and powerful knights. You don't need to go to the battlefield to win."
Looking at the excited and worried three women, Henry's face was full of seriousness. "Don't worry, I'm very strong, and it's Eldoria's first external war. I want to see it with my own eyes."
The reason he leaked the bandits' plan to Hyratos in advance was not only to introduce a flow of people but more importantly, to remove the battlefield from Eldoria and to completely solve the problem of the bandits in Hyratos.
"But I want to go too!" Ellie, seeing that she couldn't persuade him, immediately spoke up, "Wherever Henry goes, I'll go."
Henry's arm stiffened, he shook his head, and said gently, "Ellie, our home still needs you to take care of it."
"Our home." Ellie's face suddenly turned red, she lowered her head slightly, and even her fox ears drooped. She was suddenly moved!
"Yes, if Eldoria loses you, it will be very difficult to operate," Henry nodded affirmatively.
"Then, Henry, can I go?" Willow took a step forward and said softly, "I can go and cook for you. You must not be used to others' cooking."
"Willow, you can't go either. There are so many treasures in the private warehouse, and you have to help me take care of them at home."
Henry pinched Willow's face and said softly, "Don't forget who taught you how to cook!"
Willow's persuasion also failed, and she gave Mila a wink with a pouting mouth.
"I am definitely going. Henry, if you don't let me go, I will secretly follow," Mila said, turning her head, playing with a military knife in her hand.
"Who said you can't go!" Henry rolled his eyes and said, "If you don't go, I'll drag you along."
Mila's strength was not weak, self-protection was completely no problem, how could he refuse her to go.
Mila stared; Henry was simply not following the routine.
"Okay, Willow, go and help me pack my clothes," Henry ordered.
"Yes!"
The reason he insisted on going to Hyratos was not only to see the world's combat power but also to observe any shortcomings in his own army.
And show off the charm of Eldoria and hook up with some of the commoners in Hyratos.
For example, you see, I, the noble lord of Eldoria, have come to support you in person. And then look at the strength of our Eldoria, do you feel very safe? Are you moved? Then they would come to our Eldoria, we had a lot of job positions, and many benefits.
