Chapter 66 I Wanted His Head as a Goblet

Night fell.
After dinner, Henry had been thinking about how Carter would react, but he never expected such a ludicrous idea as exchanging territory for a glass.
Even if a glass was worth sixteen or even more gold coins, it was within his expectations. In this era, there was no distinction between glass and crystal. If it were a crystal cup brought back to Earth, it would be worth at least tens of millions.
But Carter wanted to use the glass he sold, and not just one, but four, to reclaim his territory. Was this idea naive or simply foolish?
Henry remembered the expression on Carter's face when Willow brought the highball glass. Carter's face turned red, but he held back his anger, which caught Henry's attention.
"Danger is approaching, and there are quite a few people who have been spying during the day," Henry said, looking at Eldoria in the dark. He felt something was off at the market today.
In fact, he had anticipated this, but he didn't expect it to come so soon. He thought it would be next spring.
He had overestimated Carter and his son. They only wanted to meddle in Eldoria because of a slight change.
Henry looked out the window and said calmly, "Prepare the War Wolf Battle Squad. I want to make sure they have no way out and that no one escapes."
What he wanted was to uproot the power of Carter and his son, not just kill the two of them. It was simple to kill them, but he wanted to eliminate the root of the problem.
Henry thought, 'Wait until they're all together and then kill them all. Otherwise, they'll come looking for revenge one by one. Is that how we're going to live? And by the way, let's also train the soldiers again.'
"Okay!" Wyatt nodded. He had everything arranged long ago. If it weren't for the uncertainty of the other party's numbers during the day, the War Wolf Battle Squad would have already moved in to capture them.
Mila sat at the office desk, swinging her feet from time to time, her slender hands constantly wiping the dagger. It had been a while since she last killed enemies, and she almost forgot that she had the title of Ghost Walker.
Ellie was sucking on a lollipop, writing in her notebook from, thinking about today's big market, and considering what else needed to be added.
No one was worried. In their eyes, Carter and Nathan were just greedy clowns.
In Eldoria, within a courtyard, this was the temporary resting place for Carter and Nathan.
The sound of things being thrown in the room made the knights outside look at each other. They had been summoned tonight and had been hearing the sound of things being thrown inside.
"What's wrong with the master? Why is he so angry?"
"Not sure; I heard he was provoked by Henry. Looks like there will be action tonight."
"It's been a long time since I killed someone. I can't remember if it was two days or three..."
In the room, Nathan hugged five glass cups in the corner, protecting them.
Carter, exhausted from throwing things, started coughing violently, his face turning pale as if he would drop dead the next moment.
"Please don't get angry anymore. Your body can't take it," Nathan advised cautiously.
Carter shouted, "Get lost!"
Carter glared, his face contorted like a demon. How could he be so angry? He was actually cursed to drop dead by someone.
And that tall, slender crystal glass, he felt that one was worth more than his current five.
What did that mean? Something he treasured was not as valuable as someone else's drinking glass?
Nathan didn't know how to feel. He used to think his father was as clever as a fox, but now he seemed more like a gambler.
The decisions he once thought were wise and brave now seemed like rubbish. He couldn't help but feel regret about the market.
But it didn't matter. After tonight, everything would return to square one, and they would gain a market that brought in a daily income.
Carter took a few deep breaths, almost out of breath. That would be a tragedy.
"They're all here, right?" Carter's face darkened, and he said coldly, "If anyone hasn't arrived, deal with them all."
"They're here, all of them," Nathan said quickly. He knew his father was filled with an unprecedented murderous intent.
"I remember there are quite a few people in the castle. And those two orcs, that girl who holds the wine glass, and most importantly, Henry. I want the heads of these people. Since they like wine glasses so much, I'll turn them into wine glasses." Carter cursed.
Carter's face, streaked with lines, appeared eerie and ghastly in the flickering candlelight. As a gentle breeze passed by the candle flame, the shadows on the wall seemed to come alive, baring their teeth and clawing at the air.
"Understood..." Nathan trembled a little. Although he was ruthless too, toying with common girls, his cruelty paled in comparison to that of his father.
Nathan carefully put down the glass, pushed open the door, and went out, looking at the dozen or so knights in front of him, the most loyal knights.
Every time they went out, these dozen knights secretly protected them. Even if the two of them died, the knights would only disperse after killing their enemies.
So Carter and Nathan only dared to go to the castle today. They knew Henry was no fool; he would kill them.
"Tonight, your task is to kill everyone in the castle. Behead anyone alive." Nathan smirked and said viciously, "Especially Henry and the orcs with him. Bring back their heads."
"Haha, no problem at all, as long as I can kill! Killing them is like killing little lambs; I can easily break their necks."
"Let's see who kills more. The loser will help me snatch an extra girl next time."
"I win, so tomorrow, you guys will help me bring that pretty girl to my room."
"You win my ass! I've also taken a liking to that girl. My sword is faster than yours..."
The group of people, under the cover of night, left the courtyard easily and sneaked into the dark streets, heading for the castle.
They thought they would have to be bandits to have a good time, but they didn't expect to have a good time today, killing nobles, even though it was a noble who had only been in power for half a month.
A group of demons stained with the blood of sin has been released from their cage.
