Chapter 192 Is This a Rolling Panda

"How many are there?" Henry closed the box and pushed it aside. Selling these plants would greatly improve his financial situation.

Most importantly, he couldn't forget about the Iron Man suit. He planned to buy two sets, one for his private collection and one for his study.

"Henry, there are seventeen large ones and some smaller ones that we also managed to dig up," Leo quickly reported.

"Great. This time, the rewards for the mission will be increased by fifty percent, and you can take a two-day vacation." Henry said, satisfied. They had even managed to find this plant, which could be planted in the backyard.

"Yes!" Leo's eyes lit up. He was thrilled to have a vacation.

"Do you remember the location? Is it far from Eldoria?" Henry asked.

"Not far. It only takes two days round trip," Leo replied. They had spent eight days in total, with six days dedicated to finding the plant location Wyatt had provided.

"Are there still many of the plant at that location?" Henry asked, his most pressing concern.

"Yes, a lot. The entire valley is filled with them." Leo nodded repeatedly. The plant they had dug up was just a small portion.

"Good. Remember that place. It's top secret," Henry said sternly. Many of the Earth's medicine relied on the plant as the main ingredient. And life-saving medicines could be produced from it.

"Understood!" Leo replied solemnly.

Leo had been tying a cloth around his mouth when he slept recently, afraid that he might talk in his sleep and reveal the secret, which would cost him his life.

"What are you holding? It keeps moving." Henry noticed the wriggling linen bag in Leo's arms.

Leo was at a loss for words. How should he explain?

"Open it." Henry's interest was piqued. He wanted to see what it was that made Leo so hesitant.

"Yes!" Leo carefully placed the burlap sack on the ground and emptied its contents.

"What?" Henry's eyes widened in astonishment as he stared at the motionless bundle on the floor. Its shiny black eyes were fixed on him.

Its fur was a mix of black and white, with black patches around its eyes. It rubbed its sleepy eyes with its paws. It had two furry black ears on its head, short and chubby limbs, a large, short tail, and a round, plump body. It was an incredibly adorable panda.

"A panda?" Henry exclaimed, taking a few steps closer to the panda. He squatted down and poked the panda's head, and in response, the panda opened its small mouth.

"Hey, you little rascal!" Henry chuckled as he poked the panda's belly.

The panda, which appeared to be about six months old, had just grown its baby teeth and was ready to start eating bamboo shoots.

Everyone present was stunned. It was the first time they had seen this playful side of Henry. In their impression, Henry was always a perfect noble.

The three of them looked at Henry with softened gazes. They preferred to see this side of Henry. The pressure from his perfection was immense.

"How did it get here?" Henry asked, playing with the panda, his curiosity piqued.

"We found it on our way back. Its mother was killed by a pack of wolves, and this little one climbed up a tree. We heard its cries and rescued it," Leo explained briefly.

Indeed, this panda was the one Leo and the others had planned to capture as a pet for Henry. It was lucky that it was cute, or else it would have been killed for meat.

"Great, I'll take this panda." Henry said, nodding in satisfaction.

"Yes!" Leo grinned. This was the best outcome. If Henry hadn't accepted, this little one would have ended up in the kitchen... they didn't have time to raise a pet.

Henry stood up, a smile on his face. Seeing a panda here brought a sense of comfort to his heart. If this were on Earth, countless people would dream of having such a cute creature at home.

Henry walked to his desk, opened a drawer, and took out a palm-sized package wrapped in paper. He tossed it to Leo and said with a smile. "It's edible!"

"Thank you, Henry." Leo eagerly caught it with both hands, feeling delighted as he put it in his pocket. Many people would envy him for receiving something personally from Henry.

"Go on vacation." Henry waved his hand.

"Yes!" Leo saluted and followed Wyatt out of the study.

"Mila, go to the kitchen and bring some carrots and bamboo shoots," Henry instructed.

"Okay!" Mila walked away with a smile on her face.

"Hey! If someone find out that I have a panda as a pet, they'll be so envious, won't they?" Henry resisted the urge to take out his phone and take a picture to post on Facebook.

Henry thought about those who posted pictures of their dogs and cats on Facebook and couldn't help but sneer. Who could compare with him? He had a panda as pet.

"Hey! Don't bite that!" Henry was distracted for a moment and saw the panda crawling toward a nearby bookshelf, about to bite the shelf's leg.

"Come here." Henry pried open the panda's paws, which were holding onto the shelf, and picked up the little one, but before he could put it down, the panda clung to his arm.

"Little one, let go." Henry pried open the panda's claws, but the next second, they were back.

It was then that Henry remembered the videos he had seen on Earth. Pandas were experts at being clingy.

"Henry, your things are here." Mila pushed the door open and came in with a wooden basin.

Ellie followed behind, but she was more of a hindrance than a help and was sent back by Willow.

"Is this a small wild animal? Are we going to slaughter it for meat tonight? Will there be enough meat?" Ellie licked her lips at the sight of the panda, her mind on food.

Henry rolled his eyes and said. "Eat? Don't even think about it. This is my pet."

"Pet?" Ellie's eyes widened. For her, and even for Mila, this creature was just something to fill their stomachs, much like how people viewed chickens.

It wasn't surprising for them to think this way. They had always been hungry before. Mila often hunted wild animals, and they didn't care about how cute or adorable they were; they only cared about whether they could eat and fill their stomachs.

It should be said that people in this era all thought this way. If they were to raise anything, it would be warhorses, and everything else would be killed for meat.
