Chapter 141 Mila from the Henry Family
Henry picked up three sausages, turned his head to look at Mila eagerly, and chuckled. "Then I'll be the first noble to bring an orc lady to the banquet, and she is a beautiful one from the cat tribe!"
Mila's cheeks flushed, and she hesitated. "But, Henry, if you take me, other nobles will mock us!"
Henry's hand holding the sausage tightened, but his smile became even brighter. "Miss Mila, do you think I'm afraid of their mockery? Just because of those noble's sneers?"
"I..." Mila's blue eyes met Henry's smiling face, a smile that was so familiar, often appearing in her dreams.
"No!" Mila shook her head slowly, her blue eyes forming crescents.
Henry was always like this, not caring about others' opinions, a true noble. It was because of this that they had always been so infatuated.
"Then, should you go and take a bath?"
Henry turned back, focused on peeling the sausage, and said calmly, "We live for ourselves and for those close to us, not for those who dislike us. Just because they dislike us, should we stop doing those things?"
"Don't have such a silly idea. You are Mila of my family. You only need to care about my opinion."
"I..." Mila laughed, her tears falling, but she looked so beautiful when she smiled, her gaze blurred as she watched Henry's back, he was once again shielding her from the storm.
The hostility in Mila's blue eyes slowly dissipated, and the burden of killing silently disappeared today.
"I got it!" Mila wiped away the crystal tears with her slender arms, not wanting her vision to be blocked. Every time, she would be moved to tears, and it was these little things that slowly changed her mindset.
"Go on! Use more soap." Henry's arm paused slightly, and he said softly, "You've worked hard today!"
"Yes!" Mila nodded silently. The one who was truly tired was not her but the person who had created a free land for their orc tribe.
"Tess, let's go. You should take a shower, too!"
Tess, who was confused, was pulled away by Mila. What's going on with these two people? Why does she feel so envious of their conversation?
Tess looked at Mila's back, and she could feel that the other person was very relaxed, just like the feeling she had after her older sister beat her up.
After all, she had done a lot of wrong things, and then she had to wait nervously to be scolded or beaten. After her older sister beat her up, everything would be calm, and even chewing on a piece of bark would taste sweet.
"Mila, what's your relationship with Henry? Are you lovers?" Tess suddenly asked.
Mila's body stiffened, her steps faltered, her cheeks flushed, and she stammered. "What? What lovers? There's nothing."
"Really?" Tess looked at Mila, who was swinging her arms in a panic, her purple eyes full of gossip, and she smirked. "Could it be that you have a crush on Henry?"
"Idiotic cow! Keep your voice down!" Mila shouted, rushing up to cover Tess's mouth and looking around.
Tess was confused. Who was the one who shouted? This nervous cat girl, she really couldn't take a joke, just like her older sister, a person who could blush while reading the Love Notes of a Noble Girl!
"What? If you dare to say that, I'll cut these two things off." Mila's hand appeared with a military knife, gesturing at Tess's chest.
Tess continued to make muffled sounds, using both hands to forcefully pry open Mila's hand covering her mouth, trying to breathe heavily.
"You almost suffocated me!" Tess rolled her eyes.
Mila awkwardly put away the military knife, and it turned out that she was too nervous.
"Go, you stink too much, and you really need to take a good shower." Mila pulled Tess away, not giving her a chance to speak.
"Just now..."
"Just now, I smelled your stench."
"But..."
"But you're so stinky!"
Tess's mouth twitched. Is she really that smelly? She raised her arm and took a whiff.
"Hey, why did you faint?" Mila exclaimed in shock. "Right! Henry said that if someone faints suddenly, pinching below the nose can wake them up."
"Ouch!"
Tess let out a scream, her whole body jumped up, and she rubbed her nose hard.
"Why did you suddenly faint?" Mila asked in concern, "Did you get hurt today?"
"No, it's nothing, I'm just too hungry, yes, just too hungry!" Tess smiled awkwardly, even with her character, it was impossible to say such an embarrassing thing.
But how is this possible? It's just half a year... no, it's all because of that piece of beast skin, it's really too smelly, it made me stink too.
"Hungry? Then take a quick shower."
Mila pulled Tess towards the bathroom in the cabin, which had been temporarily renovated and contained two large wooden tubs.
After filling the two large tubs with warm water, the two began to undress. Mila's blue eyes slowly widened as she stared blankly at Tess's well-endowed figure. She only realized after taking off her clothes that it was really bigger, comparable to her own level.
"What is this fragrant thing? Can I eat it?" Tess picked up a bar of soap, sniffed it, and even planned to lick it.
"Stop! It's not for eating!" Mila quickly snatched the soap and started to lather up, saying, "This is for bathing!"
"It smells so good. Too bad it's not edible!" Tess picked up another bar of soap and tried to imitate, but after a while, she noticed that the bubbles on Mila's body were white, while hers were black.
Mila also saw it, and she forced herself to hold back her laughter. This scene was similar to when she gave Ellie a bath with soap for the first time in the castle.
"Just wash a few more times!" Mila reassured. She rinsed off the bubbles on her body with the water in the basin, revealing her well-proportioned figure, and stepped into the wooden tub to soak.
"Okay!" Tess learned to play with it, and the bubbles she made were white.
"Go in and soak for a while, then you can go eat!" Mila urged she hadn't forgotten that she had to accompany Henry to the banquet later.
"Okay! Right away!" Tess trembled as she entered the wooden tub.
"So refreshing!"
