Chapter 110 Alert Sensation

Henry coughed lightly, unable to shake off the pervasive smell of exhaust fumes and cooking oil in the air.
He understood that his discomfort was a common reaction to transitioning from a place with clean air to a bustling city. It was his body's way of adapting to the new environment.
'Looks like it's time to head back after shopping.' Henry thought to himself. He hailed a taxi and settled in for the ride.
Fifteen minutes later, the city's largest supermarket came into view. After paying for his purchases, Henry made his way inside, his shopping cart quickly filling up with various items.
Henry was particularly attracted to fair-skinned people who had recently cultivated a noble air, especially those wearing top hats; many girls even mistook Henry for a star.
Henry tugged at the brim of his hat. The gazes from those girls over there were too intense, making him a bit uncomfortable.
The girls here were not as attractive as the well-bred ones. Henry focused on shopping, scanning the shelves with his eyes. He thought, 'What should I buy? I had a plan before coming, but now I seem to have forgotten...'
"Let's get two boxes of instant coffee!"
"They have new glass cups here; they look really nice. The girls in the castle can use some new ones. Let's get a few!"
Although he claimed not to know what to buy, as he wandered around, Henry's shopping cart quickly filled up. Grabbing two of this, two of that...
He looked at his full shopping cart, realizing he hadn't bought the most important things yet.
"Sir, let me help you push it."
An enthusiastic female shop assistant ran over to help Henry with the shopping cart.
"Well, thank you!" Henry politely thanked her. "Could you help me push it to the checkout counter?"
"Of course!" The female shop assistant was a bit taken aback but quickly agreed. She walked away feeling a bit disappointed, thinking she might get to follow behind Henry.
Henry shrugged, found another shopping cart, and started browsing again!
"This notebook is unexpectedly beautiful and quite thick. I could buy it for my collection!"
"A badminton racket? Maybe I'll get one as well; it would be nice to have one."
"Oh, right, what should I pick as a birthday gift?" Henry looked around, his eyes lighting up as he quickly spotted a group of girls gathered in one place.
"That would make a good gift; she would definitely like it."
Henry pushed his cart over to the place where they were selling cloth dolls, with bunny pajamas and other items.
The sudden appearance of a guy among the group of girls immediately attracted attention. Most of these girls were students who naturally liked fluffy things.
"Wow! He's charming!"
"Is he here to flirt? Or is his girlfriend here?"
"He's really classy, like a CEO."
Henry glanced at the girls, then focused on the doll, especially the one that was as tall as a person and shaped like a cat.
"Excuse me." Henry politely addressed the girls around him.
"Okay!"
Henry nodded and walked over to the large cat plushie. He picked it up by its cat ears and placed it on his shoulder. Carrying the big cat plushie and pushing the shopping cart, he walked away, leaving behind a group of envious and admiring girls.
"So handsome, he's exactly the kind of guy I dream of."
"Why does my boyfriend only know how to play games? He even complains about me being fat."
Completely unaware of his effect on the girls, Henry continued shopping for a few more items and then checked out with his cart full of items.
"Henry, why do you buy so many things again?"
The cashier, a young girl, recognized Henry. He had been here several times before, always buying a lot and leaving a lasting impression.
"Yes!" Henry nodded lightly, placing items from the cart on the counter. He decided to go to a different supermarket next time.
Neighbors who saw him would always suggest he shouldn't stay at home all the time and should go out for inspiration. No one suspected he was doing something else at home, let alone being transported to a different world as a lord.
Soon, the checkout was completed. He carried several large bags of items, plus a big cloth doll, with the help of a few shop assistants.
Henry took his backpack out of the locker. With the assistance of a few shop assistants, he was about to leave the supermarket when he was stopped.
"Hello, sir. If you spend over 154 dollars here, you can participate in our lucky draw event. The first prize is a piece of jade jewelry worth 1555 dollars; the second prize is a certain brand of standing air conditioner worth 883 dollars."
Two or three pretty sales promoters stopped Henry and quickly explained the promotion.
Henry knew this was a marketing tactic. The prizes would most likely be vouchers of various amounts, encouraging you to spend more to redeem them.
He looked at the leaflet and saw a beautifully carved piece of jade jewelry—not the typical jewelry but something exotic from the East.
As a noble, he realized he didn't have any accessories, and gemstone rings were not really his style, or rather, he hadn't found one that suited him.
"I'll take a chance." Henry nodded, deciding he wanted that piece of jade jewelry.
"Okay, sir. Please follow us." The promoter smiled and led the way.
After a few steps, they arrived at the counter near the entrance, where many people were participating in the lucky draw, creating a lively atmosphere.
"Sir, please draw a ticket from here." The promoter handed Henry a box for the lucky draw.
"Okay!"
Henry's eyes flickered as he reached in and grabbed the first ticket. He felt a slight tingling sensation on his scalp. He released it and then picked up another one, feeling the same sensation.
Unable to resist, he stirred the tickets in the box and quickly found one without the tingling sensation.
"I'll go with this one!"
Henry took a ticket from the box and handed it to the promoter.
This was a warning sensation he had developed after optimizing his body. If something was harmful to him, such as poison or a falling object, his scalp would tingle, like in the case of the lucky draw.
