Chapter 94 A Sudden Attack
"Wow!" Ellie shouted, and she bounced up and down, holding a lollipop in her hands. Her fox ears twitched to a melody, and her fox tail swirled around, making her look just like a child.
"Mila, look at these lollipops! It's like a work of art, so beautiful." Ellie exclaimed.
Ellie approached Mila, holding the lollipop up high like a child showing off a precious treasure to their parents.
"It's so pretty!" Mila gazed at the colorful lollipop and remarked, "Just like a rainbow in the sky."
"Exactly! That's how I feel too. I'm going to call them Rainbow Lollipops." Ellie nodded vigorously, rubbing the lollipop against her face.
Henry watched the two of them, amused by their excitement. 'Lady girls are easily pleased.' He thought.
"I've made up my mind!" Ellie suddenly clenched her fist, her eyes fixed on the lollipop.
To Henry and Mila's surprise, Ellie carefully removed a small box from her bag, which contained another lollipop, and handed it to Mila. "Here, this is for you," she said.
Mila was taken aback but accepted the lollipop with a smile. "Thank you, but I won't give you my sword in return." she teased.
Ellie pouted, "I don't want it anyway." she said, counting the remaining lollipops in her box.
Henry found the conflicted fox girl quite amusing. He took out a notebook from the cabinet and started writing, transforming his knowledge into something understandable for this era.
When Willow brought Emily to the study, Henry had just finished writing the first textbook for the new world.
Emily was still lost in her thoughts, recalling the dragon's treasure she had read about in the private library. Perhaps that treasure looked just like the one described in the book.
Willow narrowed her eyes and spoke softly to Emily, who was holding a pile of things, "I'll have Ellie show you how to use them tonight."
The items she was referring to were some soap, toothpaste, and such. To someone unfamiliar with them, the scents might be mistaken for something edible, especially considering Willow had almost mistaken soap for pastries before.
"Okay, okay!" Emily nodded dazedly, feeling like she had stepped into another world all of a sudden.
Ellie said, "Willow, Willow, silly rabbit, look!"
Ellie, holding her lollipop, approached them excitedly. "This is the lollipop Henry gave me. I call it the Rainbow Lollipop. Isn't it beautiful?"
Willow and Emily were amazed by the lollipop's appearance.
"It's gorgeous!" Willow exclaimed.
"What is it?" Emily asked, not having had the chance to taste it during their outing. But she could see its beauty, like a piece of art.
"Here, Willow, this is for you," Ellie said, handing a lollipop to Willow, and then she gave another one to Emily. "This one's for you, silly rabbit."
Then, the two saw Ellie approaching Henry with her lollipop amidst their astonished expressions...
"Henry!" Ellie looked up at Henry, her face slightly flushed, her hand holding the lollipop fidgeting.
"What's up?" Henry turned his head, a smile playing on his lips as he looked at Ellie. "No need to share with me; I've had plenty already."
"No, it's not that..." Ellie's fox ears bumped together on top of her head, her breath slightly heavier as she whispered, "Henry, can you lower your head? I have something to tell you."
"Oh?" Henry's heart inexplicably skipped a beat, and he lowered his head, gently saying, "Go ahead! What do you want to say..."
The next moment, Ellie tiptoed and stretched her neck, blushing as she planted a kiss on Henry's cheek.
Then, amidst the astonished gazes of Mila, Willow, and Emily, she ran off with her lollipop, her face still red.
Henry stared blankly at the swaying study door, raising his hand to touch his slightly damp cheek. The sensation from just now made his heart race!
Mila narrowed her eyes, a military knife appearing in her hand. In her mind, an angelic Mila and a devilish Mila materialized.
The devilish Mila cracked a whip, "That fox, Ellie, dared to kiss Henry. Mila knew Henry first but didn't even get a chance to kiss him. Outrageous!"
The angelic Mila nodded, "Indeed, quite outrageous. It's all Mila's fault for not acting first and letting Ellie take the lead."
"I say we hang Ellie up tonight and give her a spanking!" the devilish Mila smirked wickedly.
"No, that's too evil of you. Just eat her lollipop instead," the angelic Mila suggested, even more deviously.
Mila quickly shook off the random thoughts in her mind. She was truly rattled by Ellie's actions and felt a bit aggrieved. She met Henry first, yet Ellie dared to kiss him first.
Willow tightly gripped her lollipop, her eyes narrowed to slits. She hadn't expected Ellie to be so bold, kissing Henry in front of everyone. She had only dared to sneak kisses.
No, next time, her target would be Henry's... Willow's gaze shifted to Henry's lips, her whole body shivering, her face turning red as she quickly averted her eyes.
Emily, blushing and feeling a bit uneasy, shifted her feet. The atmosphere made her uncomfortable, especially with the two girls emitting a gladiatorial vibe.
Henry cleared his throat, picked up the study materials from the desk, and stood up, addressing Emily, "Let's go! I'll show you around the school now and teach you how to be a teacher."
He hadn't expected Ellie's sudden ambush, but that feeling wasn't bad at all.
"Okay!" Emily nodded quickly, finding a place to put down the things in her hands, then followed behind Henry.
