Chapter 32 The Beginning of the Infrastructure Fanatic

The sound of intense shouting echoed.
Henry watched as the demolition crew below dismantled the houses, separating the useful from the useless.
The demolition was swift, as most of the houses were made of wood, with only a few being adobe. It is rare to see this scene of over a thousand people working.
From the window of the study, it looked like ants moving busily, with a hundred people swarming and a house being visibly dismantled.
"Henry, at this pace and with a fixed template, we should be able to complete a third of the project before the autumn harvest," Willow said softly.
"Is there enough rebar?" Henry thought of the most crucial thing; if there wasn't enough rebar, the houses would be dangerous.
"According to your design, and with emergency production at the same time, we should have enough supply," Willow replied, flipping through her notebook.
"Good, then let's put all into it except the necessary amount."
"Alright."
The two-story building designed by Henry wasn't entirely reinforced with rebar. For example, the second floor had little rebar, while the first floor had more, mainly for load-bearing purposes.
With this kind of construction, it was perfectly fine to live in for thirty or forty years. After all, it was just a transitional use, and Henry believed that in thirty or forty years, there would be a large number of tall buildings rising here.
"For the cement kiln, have them making a few more and keeping eyes on it. I don't want the secret formula to leak out. And for the steel kiln, arresting them who gets too close."
"David sent the army to train in that area. Anyone who gets close will be captured, and if necessary, they will shoot to kill," Willow said, her face earnest.
Everything was slowly falling into place, allowing Henry to breathe a sigh of relief. He leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes to ponder, while Willow gently massaged his temples.
"Have the grain merchants caused any trouble?" Henry suddenly spoke up.
"No, they've all been quiet," Willow replied. Her nimble fingers massaged his temples. She could feel that Henry was tired.
"Alright, have Brian keep eyes on them. If they cause any trouble, let the Longbow Team handle it." Henry said coldly.
Now, he wasn't afraid of those grain merchants. He didn't expect the hunters he recruited to master the recurve bow in just three days. Now, all that was left was the team's coordination, but it was no problem to kill a few grain merchants.
Twenty hunters armed with recurve bows were named the Longbow Team, with Brian as their leader.
"Okay." Willow didn't waste any time. A hint of pity flashed in her eyes. Henry had too much on his plate, and her abilities were limited, so she could only help with small matters.
"Oh, and the wheat that brought back, let's keep it secretly when storing it. I want to see if those people will jump out to cause trouble." Henry said.
Henry understood that this time, it would definitely affect some people's interests. He didn't mind a general cleaning to prove that the Eldoria only needed one person's voice, and that was his command.
"Well, my father has already made arrangements in advance," Willow said softly.
Henry let out a sigh, leaned his head back, and rested it on the girl's soft abdomen. He subconsciously rubbed it, and then he felt the stiffness of the body behind him and realized he had gone too far. Just as he was about to leave, his head was held by her arms.
Time stood still as Henry smelled the girl's fragrance. He slowly fell asleep, he was indeed a little tired. After all, he had been focusing on the first to prevent form his future life go in a dead end.
Willow just held Henry quietly. She tilted her head slightly and looked at Henry's peaceful face, lost in thought.
She remembered the scene when she first met Henry. She was picking wild vegetables on the mountain and unexpectedly encountered a wolf. Just when she thought she was going to die, Henry appeared suddenly and drove away the wolf.
Under the hero-saves-the-beauty scenario, he also lived in her house for a month. In secret, Henry often brings her some delicious snacks, which makes the girl fall in love with Henry.
Today, without Mila, the girl's courage grew a little, and she found herself looking at Henry's handsome face. In a moment of impulse, she kissed on Henry's face, and then she blushed and stood up straight.
"Didn't he wake up?" Willow cautiously opened one of her tightly closed eyes, observing.
"Fine... he didn't wake up."
"Henry's first kiss is mine... my heartbeat is really fast, just like it's described in books."
Willow remembered a book she had read titled "The Love Notes of a Noble Girl".
His father brought the book back from the capital on her fifteenth birthday. Although it was a ten-page parchment scroll, the love stories recorded on it fascinated her.
In the scene today, Willow remembered that the heroine secretly kissed the prince in the book.
"Mila shouldn't have kissed Henry, right? She shouldn't have."
Willow muttered, her eyes involuntarily looking at Henry's profile, her face blushing. Once again, she lightly kissed Henry's face.
"Once more, it should be fine, right? Just one more time."
"I haven't kissed him on the other side, so why not kiss him here?"
"Great, Scarlett, thank you for your guidance in the book."
Lucy is the author of "The Love Notes of a Noble Girl", and it is said that she is the daughter of the king, a princess.
And Willow is a fan of Lucy, and there are lots of infatuated teenage girls like Willow.
