He shook his head. The two women were very different. Amelia was very far from Cameron. Amelia was a woman that a man could be proud of because she was loving and a caring woman.

“What is your mom’s favorite cake?” She asked Levi.
The man just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head.

“I have no idea to be honest,” he said and then smirked at her.

“Is that serious? You don’t know her favorite cake?” She asked full of disbelief in her voice.
Levi shook his head.
“No, babe, I am sorry,” he said. “She’s always the one preparing everything for us, so I really have no idea.”

“That’s not good. You have to pamper your mom once in a while. How about me? Do you know what’s my favorite?” Amelia asked while her eyebrow was raised.

“Yes, I know,” he replied full of confidence.
“What is it then?”
“Cheesecake…” He immediately replied. He knew about it because he used to buy it for her every time he visited her boarding house a couple of years ago.
“Wow, I thought you already forgot it,” Amelia said and then giggled.
“Of course not.”

It didn’t take a while and they finally arrived at his mother’s house. Logan, Leonard and Harper just arrived next to them.

“Hmn… Why do I see that both of you have a happy face? I can see something different from before. Is this the surprise you are talking about?” Logan asked and he was starting to tease Levi.

Levi scratched his head. “Is it really that obvious, bro?” He asked Logan. They were sitting in the lawn while watching Leonard running around trying to catch their mother’s pet. Their mother had two dogs as her pets to keep her busy aside from her garden.

Logan nodded. “Yes, bro. I can see the way you smile and your faces since we arrived. It’s just something we have never seen before,” Logan said.

Levi let out a deep sigh.
“Alright, yes, we got back together,” he finally said to Logan.

“Meaning?” Logan’s eyebrows were drawn together.

“Amelia was my girlfriend three years ago but for some reason which I don’t know, she just left me with no trace. And now I courted her again and we got back together,” he exclaimed.

“Well, that’s cool. Congratulations, bro. I am happy that you found her again,” Logan said while he was tapping his shoulders.

“Thank you, bro.”

Their mother came out on the lawn to call them as their lunch was ready and was already served.

“Come on, guys. The lunch is ready. Logan, go and get your son,” his mother commanded them.
They both stood up but Logan went to get Leonard so the little boy could eat with them.

“Hmn… That’s smells delicious. So, what’s the menu for today?” He asked as he put his arm on his mother’s shoulder while they were entering the house. They were still at the door but he could already smell the inviting smell of the food.

“I cook your favorite kare-kare and chopsuey,” his mother replied.

Levi pulled a chair for his mother and then he saw Harper and Amelia were holding a bowl of dishes which they served on the table.

He couldn’t help but smile while looking at Amelia. She was so beautiful even with the simple clothes that she was wearing.

After serving the bowl that she was holding, Amelia went on his side and Levi pulled a chair for her.

“Mom, what do you think about Amelia?” Levi suddenly asked his mother while they were all sitting at the table.

His mother turned her gaze to Amelia who was starting to feel ashamed because of his question.

“Well, if you are going to ask me, these two women besides the two of you. I can say that they are perfect for you. I just hope that they will accept your love if by any chance, you confess to them,” his mother said which made him smile from ear to ear.

“Whooa!” Logan and Levi shouted at the same time and he could see the smiles on the lips of the three women at the table.

“Levi, why don’t you go ahead and spill the beans? I know you are going to tell me something,” Mrs. Alvarez said, which made him look at his mother. It seemed that the woman already had an idea about the surprise that he was about to announce.

“Yes, mom. Alright, I will not be beating around the bush. Amelia is already my girlfriend,” Levi said and then he held Amelia’s hand.

Mrs. Alvarez was smiling at both of them. It was as if she was not even surprised that the two of them were together.

“I am so happy for both of you. I know that Amelia is the right woman for you, Levi,” his mother said full of sincerity.

He was happy that his mother liked Amelia and there were no questions that were thrown at them. Levi’s heart was swelling in joy as he looked at Amelia.

The woman was just smiling at him. But he could see the joy in her eyes as well because of how the announcement had gone. He knew that just like him, Amelia was also thankful that his mother easily accepted their relationship.

He thought that his mother would not be ready yet for him to be in a relationship.

The lunch with the Alvarez family harmoniously finished. So, Levi excused himself to go to his bedroom at his parent’s house as his medicine bag was in there.

He Knew that Amelia was busy helping his mother and Harper while Logan was putting Leonard into his crib in his bedroom. As he felt sleepy after he took his medicine, Levi decided to go into the living room but he was surprised when he saw Amelia and Logan were talking in a serious face.

“So, when do you plan to tell him about Luke?”
