His answer made her eyebrows get close to each other while her forehead was knitted. Confusion was registered in her face.

“So, why didn’t you answer her instead? Why did it have to be me?” She asked one after the other. “Can’t you just talk to her?” She added that he didn’t know if it was a trace of jealousy he could hear in her voice while she was speaking to him.

Levi met her eyes. He wanted her to feel the reason why he instructed her to answer Cameron’s call. He didn’t want to associate himself with that woman. A shameless woman who didn’t know anything but to use him for her own good.
He couldn’t even imagine how she was trying to force herself to him. He hated Cameron for so many reasons. She had been shameless and the most selfish woman that he had known in his entire life and there would be no chance in the world that he would be getting back to her.
He would be out of his mind if he would be doing that.

“I am sorry if I asked you to answer it for me. I just wanted her to know that you are my girlfriend, and I don’t want to talk to her. You know what? We can start on her and then on Saturday once we come to my mom’s house, I will introduce you officially to my family as my girlfriend,” he said and then he pulled her into his embrace. Levi was now sure that he wanted to tell everyone that Amelia was his girlfriend, and he was ready to propose to her.
He just needed to plan when it would be.

“Are you sure about that?” He heard Amelia mumble. “I mean, are you ready?”
“Yes, I am. If I could, I would also shout to the world that you are my girlfriend,” he said to her.

Amelia went inside Levi’s bedroom to prepare his medicine. She was in the middle of it when his phone suddenly rang. At first, she just ignored it but the phone kept on ringing.
She decided to pick it up and to bring it to him while thinking that the call might be an important call from someone especially since the number was unregistered. There was no name shown on the mobile screen. It could be an emergency so she quickly went out of the bedroom, but she was startled when she almost bumped into him.

Amelia was confused when he asked him to answer the call and then he asked him to introduce herself as his girlfriend. She was nervous but at the same time there was a part of her heart that was rejoicing because this meant one thing for her. It means that Levi was ready to tell everyone that they were in a relationship. That she was his girlfriend. Though she was surprised when he admitted to her that he knew who the caller was after the call ended.
Levi still memorized Cameron’s number. She couldn’t help but wonder if Levi memorized her mobile number before when they were still in a relationship.

But everything that popped up inside her head suddenly vanished when she heard Levi say that he was going to tell his family about their relationship. Finally, they would be official. She would be officially introduced as his new girlfriend.

“Come on, the tea will get cold,” Levi said, which brought her back from sanity. Levi led her back to the living room.

“Let’s watch a movie. What do you think is the best movie that we should be watching?”
She just shrugged her shoulders.
“I have no idea,” she replied. She had been busy, and she didn’t have any chance to check for new movies over the internet. She had no time for watching a movie since she gave birth to Luke.
She knew some children’s shows.

“Alright, how about you tell me how your day at work was?” Levi asked while he was looking at her.

“Well, it was a tiring day for---” Amelia was unable to continue her words when her phone suddenly rang. She fished out her phone from her pocket and then she immediately swiped the answer button when she saw that it was her mother who was calling.

“Hello, Amelia,” her mother greeted her as soon as their line got connected.
“Yes, mom. Is everything okay?” She couldn’t help but feel worried because of what time she had called.

“Yes, your son just wanted to talk to you, dear,” her mother said, which made her calm down.

“Mom, please tell him that I am busy and I cannot talk to him right now,” she felt guilty as she refused to talk to her son. As much as she wanted to speak to him, she couldn’t. Amelia immediately ended the call. Levi was just sitting next to her.

She knew her son very well. Once she started talking to him, he would not stop. He had a lot of stories to tell. Though Amelia couldn’t blame her child since they just seldom see each other.

Then, she looked at her phone again and saw the time on her mobile phone. It was time for Levi to take his medicine.

“It’s time for you to take your medicine,” she said and then she handed him the medicine after that she stood up to get him some water to drink.

“Oh, I almost forgot already. I needed to call Henry,” Levi mumbled.

“Oh, alright. I am just in the room to do some work,” Amelia excused herself and then she quickly got inside of her room. She would be calling her mother back.

She was grateful that Levi needed to leave her side and she got the chance to talk to her mother and to her son. She apologized to them.
She and Luke talked for a while, and she was startled when she heard Levi talk from behind.

“Amelia, who is Luke?”
