Chapter 83
“Hmn…” Amelia moaned when she felt something on her face.
She slowly opened her eyes and she saw that she was awakened because of the kiss coming from Levi. She could feel his tiny beard tickling in her cheeks.
Amelia could feel her body sore as she opened her eyes. She saw Levi’s face smiling next to her face. She could even feel his warm breath touching her face.
Would she be waking up every day like this? How she wished! This was a great way for her to start her day. Silently, she wished that they could be like this forever.
“Wake up, baby. We need to get ready for our dinner at Logan’s place,” he whispered to her. “Trust me, I want to stay here but we need to go there as they are waiting for us.”
“Oh, really? What’s the occasion?” She couldn’t help but ask. Amelia tried to move her legs, but she felt like her body was being torn into two. She could feel her body was sore. It was as if she had run for a couple of hours and lifted heavy objects at the same time. Her muscles were very tired, especially her legs.
She closed her eyes again as she remembered how wild they were earlier. How wild and crazy she became on the bed with Levi. Amelia couldn’t believe that she had gone mad, and she was able to do that.
“Are you okay?” Levi asked, which made her open her eyes again.
“Yeah,” she said, nodding. She didn’t want Levi to notice that her whole body was in pain because of what just happened between the two of them.
“We closed the big deal today. And that's a call for a celebration,” Levi said and then he started to give her kisses again. The man showered her with little, tiny kisses on her cheeks, forehead and on her eyes. She put her hands between them towards his chest and then she slightly pushed him.
She hadn’t recovered yet from what happened and it looked like she already knew what would happen to them if she wouldn’t stop Levi from what he was doing to her.
“What?” The man said while looking at her and it was pretty obvious that he was trying his hard not to smile.
“Let’s go and prepare ourselves. Like you said, Harper and Logan must be waiting for us already,” she distracted him before they could go further because of his actions.
After she said that, she saw when Levi smiled. He was smiling mischievously at her which made her shake her head.
“Scared?” He asked while one of his eyebrows lifted.
“Huh?” Amelia mumbled with both of her eyebrows raised. “Scared of what?” She added as she pretended that she didn’t know what he was referring to.
He lifted both of his shoulders. “Do you really want me to say it? Afraid that I will take you again,” he said.
“Well, don’t be overconfident. Just want to remind you that you are still in the process of recovery. Everything that is so much, is bad for you,” she said, sounding like a professional. Amelia made a serious face to make Levi see that she was not joking about what she had said to him.
“Don’t worry about me. Anyway, what we are doing is a part of the exercise,” Levi answered which made her cheeks reddened.
They started to prepare themselves to go to Logan’s apartment.
Amelia couldn’t help but feel ashamed because of how Levi was acting up earlier when they woke up. She couldn’t believe that he would start to tease her. She felt her cheeks were getting hot as she couldn’t look him straight in the eyes.
He saw getting out of his room in a wheelchair even though he could already walk, he still needed his wheelchair as he couldn’t stand up for a long period of time. He still had to sit on it and support when he was walking. He couldn’t abuse the speedy recovery and they still need to follow all the sessions that they had.
Amelia saw Levi was looking at her as soon as he went out of the room.
“Wow, you are stunningly beautiful,” Levi praised her while he was not removing his gaze from her.
“Come on, Levi. It’s just a dress,” Amelia replied while she was shaking her head. She chose to wear a short midi dress with a solid black color for the evening. She didn’t intend to impress Levi, but it was the only thing that she got at the moment since she hadn’t washed her clothes yet.
She knew that it perfectly fitted her body. It emphasized the curves of her body as well as her butt so he couldn’t blame Levi with his reaction.
“Well, you know what I mean. It is not only that. Without or with makeup, you are beautiful,” he said while looking at her full image.
“Whatever, Levi,” she said and then something came up inside her mind. “Beautiful than Cameron?” She suddenly mumbled. Amelia didn’t know what on earth came inside her mind and she uttered those words. It was so late for her to realize what she just said. She was just saying it to herself, but it slipped on her tongue.
She wanted to scold herself and pull her hair. How on earth did she say that without being ashamed?
She saw how shock crossed Levi’s face when he heard what she said, but the man quickly recovered and then he looked at her intently.
Amelia’s heart was pounding so fast as she waited for the man’s response to what she said. She didn’t know where she took all the courage and she asked that kind of thing to Levi without any hesitation.
“Yes, you are the most beautiful woman in my eyes. You are more beautiful than any other woman and I know that my heart wouldn’t look into anyone else in this world,” Levi replied while he was still looking at her. She felt like she was a melting candle because of his stares.
