Did the kiss mean that Levi already forgave her for what she had done to him three years ago? Since she got back, no one mentioned what happened between the two of them. Suddenly, she felt a pain in her temple as she thought about the past and what happened earlier between her and Levi. There were still a lot of things that she had to consider. She knew that at this point of her life, it was not all about what she felt and how Levi could make her feel. It was different before when all she could think of was herself, her happiness because this time, she had to be more considerate about her mother and of course, her son, Luke.

She heard the sound of the door closing which brought her back to her sanity. How could she already think about that when she was even sure if that kiss even meant anything to Levi? She immediately went to her wardrobe and then she took a pair of pajamas. Then she headed to the washroom to take a quick shower as she was hoping that the water would help her wash away the thoughts that started to be inside her mind.

Levi couldn’t help himself but to feel jealous. He couldn’t understand why he was unable to hold his emotions. He felt envious since yesterday that they were in his mother’s house. It started when Logan asked Amelia about her day off. He couldn’t believe that his brother would have the courage to question the woman.
As he never had the courage since they met again to throw questions at her.

Logan was left along with Harper and Leonard. They were a perfect couple in his eyes if only Logan would admit to himself that he liked Harper. But for some reason, it looked like his brother got interested in Amelia. He kept asking about the woman like what time she would go in the morning and what time she would be back. He couldn’t understand his brother and he felt irritated with him. Even if he was joking or not, he didn’t find it funny. And even if he was just doing it to make Harper jealous, he was still annoyed towards his brother. He couldn’t help but be pissed off because of the questions that he had for the woman. He had been with Amelia for a couple of months and yet he never had the courage to ask her such questions.

Levi let out a deep sigh. He knew that despite the emotions that he had, he had to hold himself because he and Amelia had no relationship except for what they had in the past.
She was his ex-girlfriend three years ago.

He was watching the CCTV camera earlier when he saw Amelia. So, he quickly turned off the lights and then he hid behind the wall which was next to the elevator. It wasn’t his intention to scare the woman, but it seemed like it was what happened.

When the door opened, the woman was calling out his name and it was like a melody in his ears. He was unable to control himself.

He hugged her so tight from behind and then he pulled her to his lap. He didn’t want to let her go even if she said that he might get tired because of her.

“Where did you go?” He asked her and to his surprise, Amelia answered him with a nursery rhyme.

"I've to London to see the queen."

"What…?"

"It rhymes, where should I go? I went home to my family, and..." He didn't let her finish her
words because he felt jealous if she would say that she had been with the person who named Luke. That was the name of the guy that she mentioned yesterday when they were having their meal at his mother’s house. He sealed her lips because another word came out from his lips. He kissed her so tenderly. The kiss was so sweet, and it didn’t change. It tasted so sweet like what they had shared three years ago.

Levi was already ready to accept Amelia’s slap, but it didn’t happen. And his heart was aiming for more kisses to share with the woman. He knew that their past would be rekindled by hook or by crook. He had to do something before the contract for her service to him finished in a few months’ time. It would just be a couple of months left for him so he could win her back. So, he had to do everything no matter what. He knew that he needed her to be his inspiration so he could get back to his hobby and join his favorite sports. He wouldn’t deny to himself that the woman had been the reason for his fast recovery.

He entered his room and then he started to prepare himself for the night. He took out his pajamas in the wardrobe and then he went to the washroom to clean himself. Though he still couldn’t take a shower at least he could change his clothes. Small steps were still progress. He could use the water closet now without Amelia’s help. It was only when taking shower that he needed her help. And, he was happy for the things that he could already do by now.

He turned on the top and then he let the bathtub to be filled with warm water while he was waiting for Amelia to come inside.

Levi was smiling on the scenes that were running inside his head while he was looking at the bathtub which was filled with water. He couldn’t restrain himself from thinking about himself and Amelia being underneath the water. He shook his head as he wanted to turn away the thoughts inside his head. He felt like he was a pervert because he felt his lower part was starting to rise up. He was looking at his down part when all of a sudden, the bathroom door opened.
