Luke was still young to experience the complications of this world. She knew that there would be a right time for his father to know about his existence. And if that needed to happen, she wanted the truth to be coming from her.

“Ahm… I used to take care of a baby before, you know in the medical field, you will meet a lot of people and sometimes we also need to study about it,” she replied to Harper hoping that the woman would be convinced in her reply.

“Oh, yeah. I understand. That’s alright. Let’s pay for these things and then go to the other shop. I need to buy some clothes for myself too,” Harper suggested while smiling at her.

She nodded to her and thankful that she believed her reason. Amelia felt relieved as she realized that she needed to be extra careful before everyone could notice that she knew a lot about babies. Not everyone would easily believe her reason just like Harper.

“Sure. Go ahead and pay them at the counter. I will just wait for you outside with Leonard,” she replied and then she started to pull Leonard’s stroller as they headed out of the toy shop.

Levi could see how Amelia was taking care of Leonard. The woman looked so sure with everything that she was doing. She looked like an expert when it comes to kids, especially when it comes to feeding kids. He couldn’t help but wonder how the woman was able to learn all those things.

After their breakfast, Logan told him to go to the office with him. They needed to discuss some important details about the company since his brother would be taking over soon. He needed to be in the conference room later as there would be big investors that were coming from Greece. They would potentially invest in their company. So, he had to take this one seriously. He and Logan needed to help each other take care of the legacy of their father. He couldn’t slack off and it would be a shame because Logan came back to take over. He could see his brother’s dedication to their business.

After he wore business suit, he went out of the room and from there he saw Harper and Amelia who were in the kitchen while Leonard was in the stroller. Levi called Chris and then he went back to his bedroom.

“Amelia, my medicine, please? I am going down,” he said as he called her attention. As soon as they got inside, he stood up from his wheelchair and then he kissed her lips.

“I am going down now. I already drank my medicine,” Levi said to her. He saw how the shock registered on Amelia’s face.

Her lips parted as if she couldn’t believe what he had done.
When Amelia recovered, she was shaking her head.
“God, you are so naughty,” she said while smiling at him.
Amelia’s smile already made his day as he started his work.

“Alright, take care. I am going down later to bring your medicine,” Amelia said before the man left the room. He could still see the surprise in her face because of what he had done. He found her very cute because of that.

Levi couldn’t help but recall those times that they were together, and they didn’t do anything but to be happy.

Those old times were hidden inside his heart for the longest time. It was something he couldn’t deny to himself. Those were awakened when that magical thing happened between him and Amelia.

“Don’t worry about it. I already got my medicine box with me,” Levi said and then he showed her the small box that was in his hand. “Just stay here and wait for me,” he said and then he winked before he opened the door and left.


He said goodbye to Leonard and Harper who were in the kitchen before he entered the lift. He was busy in his office when he received a message from Logan. His brother was asking him if he wanted Amelia to go with Harper and Leonard to the shopping mall.

He immediately said yes and then he called Amelia to inform her about it. Levi couldn’t understand himself, but he wanted to make the woman happy. Since something happened between the two of them, he wanted to make the most of every moment that they were together.

Levi wanted the woman to buy things for herself. And she might also want to buy something for him as well. He missed the time that they went to the department store to buy swimming wear for himself. Amelia was with him that time. She was there to help him choose what suits him. They have also bought the clothes that he was going to bring in Palarong Pambansa which had been held in region 2 but he never expected what happened next back then. He couldn’t believe what would welcome him after his competition.

For some reason, when the competition was over and he came back, Amelia was already nowhere to be found. The woman never said anything to him.

She left him without any trace. There were no words or notes that were left. Those were some of the sad times in his life. The darkest time he had in his life.

But since she already came back into his life, he will not let her leave him again. Because of what happened to them last night, he knew that the woman still cared for him.

He felt that the way her body responded from his touch and the way that the woman was responding to his kisses. And he was the happiest man on earth last night because of what happened between him and Amelia.
Even the woman couldn’t deny that she was still into him because she wouldn’t give up just like that if she didn’t like or missed him.
