Chapter 45

Amelia just quietly followed him until they got inside of the elevator. She saw that it was only good for one to three people.

She couldn’t help but shake her head because of the amazement that she was feeling at the moment. She was like in a movie. A movie with a lot of twists with secret doors and the characters would find themselves in a place they never imagined existed in this world.

She was thinking what kind of place was waiting for her once they reached their destination.

The elevator suddenly stopped, and she didn’t even notice that they already reached the level they were heading. The door opened to her surprise.

She held her breath because of the view that welcomed her. The place was elegant from the interior decoration of the place to the furniture. Who would think that a place like this existed at the top of the company?

Amelia could say that the designer had a good taste when it comes to the aesthetic design of the place. She wondered if Levi even got involved with this because she could say that the man had a luxurious taste when it comes to things.

It was an elemental color that had been used. It was a penthouse and she felt like she wanted to live in the place forever.

She couldn’t help herself imagining waking up every morning in this kind of place.

“You can use the other room which is next to mine,” Levi said which brought her back to her senses. She was walking next to him.

She was trying to push him because she had a bag in her hand and Levi could use the controller in his wheelchair.

Amelia just nodded her head as she was still speechless because of everything that her eyes were seeing.

She couldn’t believe that she would be in this kind of place. She was not born poor but just enough for them to survive. So, these beautiful things were rare in her eyes.
She devoured her eyes with the relaxing ambience of the place. What caught her attention the most was the wide glass window which gave them a beautiful spot to see the whole city.

The city lights with different colors were exposed in her eyes. It was so romantic and just even inside the penthouse she could say that it would be a perfect place for a romantic date.
A candlelit dinner with the romantic view of the city lights. Levi made a good decision building this penthouse up in the hotel.

From the window, she could also see the starry sky. She felt like she could reach the stars.

She wanted to stop but Levi continued moving. So, she just followed the man without saying a word. Amelia was so engrossed looking around the place.

Finally, they reached the doors of the two bedrooms that they were going to occupy. She looked at Levi on the other side.

“Go, freshen up and I will just wait for you in my bedroom,” Levi said as they were looking at each other.
Maybe, if Levi was not in his situation, his words could be insinuating something else in his words. She wanted to scold herself because how on earth was she even thinking about that kind of thing? Levi couldn’t even move himself so how could she really have that kind of thoughts?

Amelia just nodded and then she opened the door. She saw the queen size bed and it was as if inviting her to sleep. There was a black leather couch in the corner, a wardrobe and a dressing table.

It was as if the room was really waiting for her because of the things that were inside of it. She wondered if she was the first woman that Levi brought to the penthouse.

She let out a deep sigh. She couldn’t really imagine how wealthy the Alvarez’s were.


Now, she understood why Levi’s grandfather was against their relationship.
She put her things in the wardrobe and then quietly unpacked her things after that she quickly changed her clothes.

She felt like she was ashamed to use everything that she was seeing as they might cost more than a million.

Amelia let out a deep sigh as she could still not believe that everything that she was seeing was owned by her ex-boyfriend. She knew that they were rich but not to this extent.

She finally chose a pair of clothes to wear. She wore beige color jogger pants and a white t-shirt. When she was finally done unpacking and changing her clothes, she stepped out of her bedroom and then she went to Levi’s bedroom.

With her heart pounding so fast, she pushed the door opened.

She saw Levi was next to his bed and it was very obvious that the man was waiting for her. He was holding a pair of pajamas in his hand.

“Let’s go,” she said to him as soon as she got inside, then after that she took the pajama in his hand and then she pushed him to the washroom. She started to help him with brushing his teeth and Levi had washed his face.

When they were finally done, she had helped him laid down on the bed. She started to clean his private part as he was still using diapers.

Everything was finally done, and Levi had already gone on the bed. She put a blanket to cover his body. She was stunned when Levi suddenly speak,

“Amelia, do you want someone to help you in taking care of me?” Levi suddenly mumbled to her surprise. She didn’t expect him to ask about that.

She looked at levi at first before she shook her head.
