Chapter 125

Soma’s POV

Following Oliver to his office, I was a little nervous to speak to my father. Since I hadn’t heard his voice, it was going to be weird, but I knew we needed to speak. I was excited to invite him over to New York so he could see me become Luna. I wasn’t sure if he would have some kind of expectation about me being a Princess and if I would become Queen in the future. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to be but if it came down to it I would.

“Hey, Nathaniel,” Oliver said into the phone. “I apologize for not calling sooner, with everything happening quickly I kind of lost track of time.” He said looking at her. “Soma would like to talk to you, she wants to tell you something important.” He said before handing the phone to me.

“Hey, dad.”

“It’s good to hear your voice, how are you feeling?” he asked.

“I am better still a little weak, and I haven’t heard my wolf so I don’t know why she has still locked away,” I said with a sad tone.

“Well, she will come when the time is right.” He assured me. “So, tell me what news do you have for me?”

“Well Oliver and I want to do my Luna ceremony this weekend and I want you and mom to be there with me can you come?” I asked holding my breath after the words left my mouth.

“Yes!” he exclaimed. “I was waiting to find out when you would be doing this, so this weekend huh?” he said sounding excited.

“Yep. I figured it’s time for me to take my role seriously, I know there is a lot that I am going to have to learn without help but I am a fast learner.”

“Well, you know you can call and ask questions after everything is said and done.” He spoke. “But yes, tell Oliver we will need a ride from the airport on Thursday, we want to come a little early so we can meet you and you can get to know us since things didn’t work out the way they were supposed to when you were a little girl.”

“Okay, I love you guys,” I said before hanging the phone up.

“So?” Oliver asked.

“He said he wants you to pick him up on Thursday, they want to get to know me before the ceremony.” I smiled. “I am a little nervous but I know things will be okay.”

“Of course, they will be.” He said kissing me.

The week went by, of course, Oliver and I spent a lot of time in the bedroom catching up on what we’d missed. He was picking up my parents and then we would do a private dinner so they could explain things and answer questions. I didn’t need to know much, but I was glad they wanted to be a part of my life now. I would love it if they moved closer, but they had a Kingdom to run and I am sure they would want me to come and see which in the future was something I wanted to do. I always wanted to live in a castle and I was an actual Princess, go figure.

When they arrived at the packhouse, my mom looked just like me. Honey-colored hair and green eyes, my dad had graying hair and brown eyes. They looked like they’d loved each other forever it seems.

The dinner went well, they were able to explain things and help me understand why they had to leave me in the human world. It made me sad that my adopted parents had agreed to do things for them, but they never did.

Saturday night was finally here, it was my night to become Luna. My mom helped me get ready, I think she was more excited than I was but that didn’t matter. I was glad she was here; I was glad everyone was able to be here. Nick was going to walk me through the packhouse and outside. He was fully mated with Emily. Her parents ended up leaving the pack because they threatened to kill Nick and Oliver gave them a chance to leave peacefully and never come and that is what they did. Emily was sad but she was glad she was able to be with her mate.

Getting ready to do my Luna ceremony, I was both excited and scared. I didn’t want to disappoint this pack now that they know I am more than just a Lycan. There were a couple of people worried about being targeted because of me, but Oliver and my father put everyone in their place. I didn’t have to worry about anything after that. Everyone seemed to be excited for me to finally be by Oliver and be able to do things with the girls of the pack. I needed to learn how to train, but that would come later on.

Oliver marked and mated with me, that night will be something I will always remember and love. He was gentle but aggressive and it was fun. I even kind of went a little while even though I was a virgin and didn’t know what to expect, but I couldn’t wait to do it again tonight after I was officially a part of this clan.

Taking a shower and getting ready I knew Nick would be coming for me soon. I was a little nervous about getting my hand cut and having to drink blood, but if it made it where I could be close to everyone here, I was willing to do it. I wanted to show everyone that just because I wasn’t fully a wolf, I could still be their Luna.

I was hoping I would hear Seff’s voice after everything is said and done, but I wasn’t sure how that went. I wished I could talk to the Moon Goddess and ask her for guidance, I mean I guess I could go outside and talk to her but I didn’t want to look crazy because I know all the wolves have great hearing, and here I am just a half Lycan with no wolf still. My mom tried to tell me the Moon Goddess has choices and ways she does things, so I will have to wait and see and hope Seff comes to me.

As we walked through the packhouse and then outside, everyone stopped talking and watched me closely. I was a little scared because I hated the attention, but I felt relaxed which was nice. We walked down the aisle and then stopped near the stairs, I walked up and joined Oliver.

After Oliver spoke and introduced me again as their Luna, he cut my hand and finished the ritual. Everyone’s voice came into my head at once, I almost fell because it was overwhelming, but then it calmed down and I felt better.

“Are you okay my love?” Oliver said pulling me closer.

“Yeah, I just wasn’t expecting all of that,” I said looking at everyone, everyone seemed to look happy that I was their Luna. “I can hear everyone; they are all welcoming me to the clan.”

“Good that is what they should be. Why don’t you go and sit at our table, I will get you some water, you’re pale,” he said pulling me towards the table we were going to sit at. Micah was sitting with his mate and new baby.

“Welcome, Soma!” Mia said smiling wide.

“Thank you,” I said as I sat down. “So, Oliver is getting me some water, he said I am pale.”

“You are, are you pregnant by chance?” she asked.

“No, I doubt it. I mean I don’t track my period so I wouldn’t know.” I frowned. “But then again my periods are always weird.”

“You should test, you could be pregnant. You know wolf pregnancies are shorter than humans, so you would be well off if you have been active with Oliver.” she giggled.

“Oh, she has!” Micah teased.

“I will,” I said getting up. “I will be right back,” I said before excusing myself to use the bathroom, I did feel a little sick but that could be from the blood. I didn’t want to take a chance and puke on anyone at the party. I made it to the bathroom before I did puke everything up. I felt a little better.

“Hello, dear child,” Seline said appearing near me.

“Seline, I’ve been wanting to talk to you,” I said wanting to stand up, but I puked again.

“Oh child, I know but you are having some future things that aren’t supposed to happen yet,” she said kneeling next to me. “You see your wolf was supposed to appear tonight, but I have changed some plans around.”

“What do you mean? Why isn’t Seff here? I thought she was going to be here with us because of things coming.”

“I said she would be here.” she smiled. “But I didn’t tell you how I was going to allow her to return to your world. You see your wolf has been passed onto your daughter.”

“But we don’t have a daughter,” I said confused.

“Not yet. But she is coming soon,” she said touching my stomach and then disappearing. “Your daughter’s name will be Destiny, and she will be the one that saves your pack, you are a vessel and I am the life,” she said before I faded into darkness.
