Chapter 93
Lycan King’s POV
Most of the Council went down without much of a fight. I thought they were something special, but apparently, I was mistaken, it was nice to smell the blood of the dead. It had been so long since I did anything like this, so I was kind of excited. I knew Alec was the last to die, he was the one that pissed me off the most.
“Bring the worm here!” I ordered.
Two of my men grabbed a hold of Alec and forced him to his knees. “What do you want now Vampire King you’ve won,” he growled at me, I almost ripped his throat out, but I wanted Oliver here and King Gideon here to witness what I’ve done.
“I am patiently waiting for the rest of the party to get here.” I mused. “But if you want to speed up your death you will have to do better than that.”
“Oh so you want King Gideon and Oliver Stone to witness your fake power.” he scoffed. “I guess it suits you, I was beginning to wonder when you would do this. Seeing you killed your master, Marcus.”
He was testing me, I wasn't sure how much I could control myself, but I knew I had to. Closing my eyes I thought about his blood and how good it would taste, he would be the one I took, the one I made into a vampire just to watch get destroyed when Oliver Stone came here. I knew the werewolf, he was unstable but it didn’t matter he would soon understand I was stronger and he would be bowing down to me especially when he sees I have his mate.
“I knew you were weak.” he laughed at me. “You think Oliver Stone is going to let you walk out of here alive? You better rethink your plan, the last time I was around him when had to put him down because he is unstable.”
“Well, then I will get a long with him a lot better than you think.” I smiled. “But in reality, I am here for the Lycan King because he’s been a pain in the ass way too long and I want to see his last breath. I might even let Oliver kill him that would be the best right?” I said looking at Marks.
“It would be some entertainment,” he said looking away from me, I knew he was worried that Oliver would overthrow us and save his friend, but his friend wasn't going to live much longer. I thought about biting him now, but I knew that wouldn't be good but maybe I should stop caring and just do it. It would be fun.
“Maybe I should turn you now and then let you go and go at Oliver,” I smirked.
“I wouldn't hurt my friend, no matter how much you wanted,” he growled at me. “Do what you’re going to do. Your time is short Vampire King, it’s only a matter of time before you’re dead too.”
“Oh really?” I growled before sinking my teeth into his neck. I almost didn’t spot it because as he was a pure-blood Councilman it was the best blood I had in centuries.
Letting his body fall to the floor, it took him a few minutes to start moving. I knew I didn’t kill him but I was close.
“Nice,” I said as he opened his eyes. “Welcome back servant, now you’re mine!” I said moving away from him, I knew he was going to be a little weird until he understands what he is. I wasn't sure how the humans felt after we changed them, it didn’t matter but it was fun to watch them as they were confused and lost.
“What? What did you do to me?” he growled grabbing his neck as it healed.
“I made you one of us, since you wanted to talk a big game, I am giving you another chance. Rather than killing you, now you work for me. You might even get a Council together and rule again.” I said kneeling next to him. “But if you get out of line I’ll kill you for real.”
“I am not going to be your slave!” he snarled, I could tell he needed to feed but he would have to wait until our fun was here.
“You already are my slave so you might as well relax and enjoy the show,” I said looking at one of the others. “Watch him close you remember your first time,” I said turning my attention towards the door. I was getting impatient but I knew he would be here soon and it would be over quickly. I couldn’t wait to get back to London, I wanted to see the look on King Gideon’s face when he realizes what is happening and he had no control over it.
“When is the Lycan King supposed to be here?” Nikolai asked walking into the room. “It’s pretty dead out there.”
“I don’t know, I haven't gotten a call about his flight landing, if you want why don’t you take Alec out and feed on some of the locals. I would love to watch but I don’t want to miss out on the fun I will have here. You better have him back before Oliver Stone comes because I want him to see his friend in a new light, and I want to see the fight between the two of them.” I mused.
“I won't kill my friend.” Alec snapped at me.
“Maybe you won't, but your thirst will and you will learn to enjoy it.” I smiled at him. “Now go and feed otherwise you’ll piss me off and will die by me instead of how I want you to.” I glanced at him. “Don't be long I know you cannot wait to see your werewolf friend.”
I watched them walk out of the Council room, I knew it was only a matter of time before everything else fell into place, that was when my phone rang.
“Hello?”
“He’s landed,” she spoke. “Do you want me to act like a taxi and pick him up?”
“I think that would be a great idea, just be careful though. You have to act like you don’t know your way around and he will guide you.”
“I understand, I’ll see you soon love.”
“Yes, you will.” I smiled as I hung up the phone.
Finally, that bastard is here, I was beginning to wonder if he got cold feet and didn’t come but glad he came. Now I would use Alec to play a part, he should be good to go when he is back and then King Gideon is going to have a field day with this when he finds out he is screwed.
“He’s on his way, go and find Nikolai and Alec they need to be here before King Gideon and Rachel come,” I said looking around, this place was a mess but it didn’t matter. He would most likely smell the blood as soon as he came into the building but by the time he realizes what is going on my men will have him cornered.
Pacing around the room, I needed to find somewhere comfortable to sit, but everywhere I looked was pathetic. I honestly don’t know how the people were afraid of these pathetic men, they were nothing and we were able to kill all of them off, if only someone else would have done the same everything would have been best. I knew Oliver would most likely be happy that we took them down and now he could take his mate and kill whoever wanted to stand in his way even me, but I would love that challenge if he wanted to fight.
I didn’t have any issues with the werewolves, but I knew they had their plans. We attacked them a few times in the past and lost, but they didn’t have me as a leader. When Marcus was the leader he made sure to keep us weak, that is the reason I had to kill him. He was standing in our way to becoming a strong power in this world. Now we stand among the Lycans, Werewolves, fairies, witches.
I hated the Witches, they were always a pain in the ass. I knew Soma’s mother was the witch I had captured shortly after they thought they hide their daughter, but when I took her and tortured her until she was almost dead is when I told her my plan. She tried to attack me, but it was pointless, she was a pathetic weak witch and I should have killed her but I knew I owed something to Nathaniel the rightful King of the Lycans.
Debating giving him the power back or killing them and taking his daughter for my greed was something I was considering, I knew Soma would make a great Hybrid but she would be hard to control, she has Seff as a counterpart, and that power alone was too strong for me to handle alone. I knew I needed to convince Soma to be on my side that is until I turned her then I would let Seff and her do what she wanted, but I had to be careful not to get myself killed.
