Chapter 69

Vampire Kings POV

Pacing around my lair, I was impatient. I wanted the girl to be brought to me and I wanted it done now. Sending Nikolai and Wayne I was hoping this would make things go a lot faster for Marks. He had fallen off years ago, and I don’t know why I would allow him to live. He has been nothing but a pathetic annoying vampire. Always getting people to notice him, we didn’t want the humans to know we were around, but here he was doing his thing.

I was getting pissed, I should have just gone myself, it would have been a lot faster. She would be here with me now, and I would be able to shut down the Lycans and their laws. I needed a new world order and the Lycans were the ones that were causing most of our trouble.

“King Lycan’s have moved into our terrorism.” one of my security details said walking into my office.

“Wait!” I growled. “Good capture them, and torture them and then feast on them,” I ordered.

I didn’t care what the Lycans thought of us, they wanted to come into my territory, then it would be their death. They couldn’t come here and start a war without losing many. I wish they would start the war so I could finish it, then I wouldn't need the girl. But since they don’t want to help with the start of the war, I am going to take their Princess from them and show them that I want death and lots of dead bodies littering my world. I would bathe in their blood and their suffering, it would put me at the highest rank. Next, I would take out the Council, and then make slaves of those mutts.

“Where is the girl Marks?” I growled. I wanted to know where the Lycan Princess was, she was the only way we could bring peace to us.

“She’s with the mutts.” Detective Marks growled. “I’ve been waiting for her to come home, but it seems Oliver and his pack are protecting her.”

“I don’t think it’s the mutts,” I said pacing around. “I think the Lycans have her, I have a source that told me a meeting was held and she was given over to them.”

“I don’t know Boss, I will have to get back to you, but in the meantime, we should get planning, I don’t know how much more the werewolves are going to sit around especially if one of their own is forced into the Lycan world.”

“So then we better come up with a plan to gain access to her, if we don’t the Lycans are going to be the end to us, you know this.” I hissed. “I gave you one simple instruction, and you cannot even do as I ask. Must I do this all myself?” I asked pacing back and forth.

“Give me more time, King Gideon is too far up his ass to know what he’s doing.” Marks rolled his eyes. “Besides once I gain access to her friend again, she’ll come crawling to me trying to save his life.” he smiled at me.

“The boy has been taken to London as well, they have retreated so I’m guessing it’s because that little worm thinks he can make waves now that he has the Princess. But guess what we’re going to show him that he is still a pathetic Lycan and kill him.”

Did he think the girl was stupid, maybe she was. I would have to sit back and see how this played out if Marks failed me again. Well, that is one less pain in my ass I will have to deal with. Making vampires is rather easy, it just takes time to train. Marks has been a vampire for several hundred years, how he survived this long is beyond me.

I was more annoyed now than before the conversation. I don’t think Mark is doing what he’s supposed to be doing. I sent Nikolai and Wayne to help deal with the mutts, and it seems he has them drinking and having fun.

Do they not realize how important it is that we take the girl and use her for what we need. I am going to have to send more vampires to help them or at least force them to do what I sent them to do. I was done playing games, they needed to see how serious I was.

“I am going to arrange a meeting with the Lycan King I am going to see if they have the girl and if she is a prisoner or walking around willingly,” I said.

“Do you think King Gideon is going to give you the time of day?” Marks asked.

He was more annoying now than he’d ever been. He was doubting my abilities to fool such a dumb dog, I just don’t know how else to explain it to him. Either Marks understand I will kill everyone I see to get to the girl, or she will be handed over and we will all leave without anyone dying. I prefer everyone dying and me walking away with the girl.

“Of course, it’s going to work Marks, you think these mutts are smart. Werewolves are smarter than Lycans but they both have the same flaws. They make the same mistakes and that is where we are going to get them.

“So what do you want from the boys and me?” he asked.

“To wait until I call for you when I call for you is when the time comes we will take the girl for ourselves. We need to find a way to wake up her Lycan because when I bite her she will turn feral and things will work out for the vampires and everyone else will be running for their lives.”

“Do you think we can control the girl?”

“Yes, every new pet needs to be trained, if you’re trained then you know how to do things. When you’re not you are out for anyone’s blood. I wouldn't mind her doing that, but she needs to know her strengths and her weakness if we want her to work out for us. She will become my bride and I will make her into this unstoppable force no one is going to know what happens. We will make an army of vampires and destroy everything and everyone around us that don’t see it the same way as us.”

“Alright well I’ll head back and wait for your word,” he said before leaving me standing there.

Yes, you will wait for me, and I will call you. I will make sure you die over me, and I will still get my prize. I couldn’t wait, I couldn’t wait to see the werewolves begging for their lives. I knew none of them would be worthy enough to be slaves to me, but I will see what happens. I know werewolves work well, Lycans are a complete waste, they rather die than get a beating.

Grabbing something to drink I paced around for a little while before I made the call to Gideon. I knew he was going to be annoying to talk to, but I knew I could trick him into meeting with me. I would have my vampires outside their lands waiting for word from me to come and attack and then it would be over for them. I had faith in my children, they will either die or bring me the girl one way or another.

“What gives me the pleasure vampire King?” King Gideon asked sarcastically.

“I want to have a face-to-face, I’ve heard you are making waves in our world and want to come to a truce,” I said almost wanting to throw my blood at the wall. I would never be in a truce. I can't believe I am doing this, but I need him to relax a little.

“Cant we have this over the phone?”

“No, I want to meet in person I hate talking about these things,” I complained. “Please tell me where we can meet, I rather it be on your lands that way I don’t have to deal with the mutts or anyone else outside of you.”

“Fine, fine we can meet here at the castle, but I don’t want a bunch of blood demons around here, just you and a few others.”

“No,” I growled. “You think I trust you enough to let my guard down that much?” I growled.

“Well if you want this truce to happen, we’re going to do this on my terms.” he laughed.

“Fine when is a good time to come, we are open all night,” I growled he could tell I was annoyed but that didn’t seem to bother him too much.

“How about a week from now, I have things I need to take care of and we’re not ready to host anyone here. Wednesday.”

“Fine I will see you then,” I said before hanging up the phone. Wow, I didn’t think I would get through that, but he fell for my plan. I would make sure he didn’t get any ideas we’re about to kill him and everyone he protects.
