I wanted to ask her what she meant by waiting for the boys. But she just wanted to read what was in her hands. I resumed my work. At lunchtime, I saw she was still looking face down in the book. I tried to get her attention by waving my hands, but she would not look up. I just decided not to bother her. I asked the kitchen staff to bring lunch to us in the office. They sat down the meals on the desk. Still, she didn't look up. I mind-linked her. "Kaya, you need to eat." Finally, she looked up for a second and looked at the plate. Leaning forward, she looked at the food.
"I don't want that." "Why not." "Smells weird." "What do you want." "Smoked Salamon." "I can see if we can make that happen." I mind-linked the Becky. She ran the day-to-day of the house. "Alpha, we don't have smoked Salmon, but we have Salmon in the freezer."
"Okay, well, can you please make sure we have that for dinner and, in the future, have some smoked for the Luna." "No problem." "Thank you, Becky. Oh, and I would probably have the Salmon bland for the Luna, you know, for dinner."
I mind-linked Kaya. "We will have Salmon for dinner. But sorry, this is what we have for lunch." She finally looked up after a minute of looking at the food and took a bite. Her face contorted. She chugged the water and then got up. She grabbed one of the pens from my desk and placed it in the book to save her place. She walked around the desk, kissed me quickly, and left the room.
I was puzzled by her action. What was she planning on doing? She had just left the food. I was curious, so I got up and followed her. She had walked to the tree line and headed into the forest. I ran to catch up. I watched as she stripped down and shifted to her little white wolf. I stripped and followed her. She must have known I was following her because it didn't take long after I turned that she pounced on me. I let her push me down. Her small wolf stood above me and licked my black fur.
She then got off and wanted me to chase her. I did as she wished to, catching her and then doing it again. Then I heard her mind link me. "Now it is lunchtime." She moved her body and put her snout in the air. Just then, she walked a bit till she hit a small hole. She began to dig, and after a minute, a rabbit appeared a few feet away. She pounced and caught it in her teeth.
She shaked the thing, breaking its neck, then placed it at my feet. I sniffed the thing. I didn't want to eat it, but I could see she wanted to share, so I reluctantly bit the rabbit. It didn't taste as bad as I thought, but it felt strange to bite an animal with fur, even in my wolf form. In truth, it excited my wolf. I began to devour it. I ate the whole thing and then looked at Kaya. I looked and saw her tiny white wolf looking at me. As she knew, I would love it. She then lifted her snout in the air again. This time, it took a while till we reached a hole.
She repeated the process, and this time, she ate the rabbit. After eating, her white fur had blood around her mouth. She shifted to her human form. I saw the blood was still around her mouth. I also turned back and could feel the blood had dried around my mouth.
She came up to me and kissed me. She didn't care that we both had blood in our mouths. She deepened the kiss. Pushing me into a tree. She wanted to be in charge. It didn't take long till we were rolling around on the forest floor. The sun began to set, and then she stopped mid-romp. "We need to go." She mind-linked me.
As much as I didn't want to, I got up. We both shifted back into our wolves and ran to our clothes. Once dressed, we tried to clean up the best we could. "I have to go take care of something." I was shocked at her words. What did she have to do? "Can I tag along?" "Sure."
I walked with her to the back of the packhouse. There was Helen and two boys who were covered in dirt. There were also two women standing next to Helen. I saw the hole; as I approached, it was huge and very deep. There was also a ladder, a tape measure, and the shovels the boys had used.
Kaya looked at Helen. "It is 12 feet and 5.7 inches across." I heard her say. Then Kaya looked at the boys. She nodded, then she walked over to the boys. And it happened so fast, but she shoved the two boys into the hole. I heard them cry out as they hit the bottom of the deep hole.
The women wailed. Of course, it didn't affect Kaya as she could not hear them. She looked down in the hole. I could tell she was mind-linking them. She then walked away as if nothing had ever happened. The two women stood there shocked. "Alpha, do something." One of the women pleaded. I mind-linked Kaya. "Want to explain." "I told the boys to work together to get out. They don't have to like each other but will work together."
"I will tell their parents." "Good, and tell them to not interfere. I don't care if it takes an hour or a week. No food or water or anything. They will not get help to get out of that hole. The boys will mind link me the second they are out." I looked back at the women. "She has a plan." "It is barbaric."
"I am sure there is a reason she did it. Please, let's just see if it works."Both the women made a face and looked down at the boys in the hole. I ran to catch up with Kaya. I wanted to know what she planned to accomplish with this punishment. What had the boys done to deserve it?
