Chapter 010: Immediate Fallout
"Lisa, have you noticed that Charles seems to be getting more and more popular? First, Jessica added him on Facebook, and now even Pamela from the Art School is coming over to talk to him. When did he become so charming?" Rachel whispered quietly behind her.
Lisa, unsure if she was angry or what,stared at Charles and Pamela chatting and laughing.
She deliberately walked past them.
Lisa wanted Charles to know she was upset.
She wanted Charles to be like he used to be.
Whenever he noticed she was unhappy, he'd come running over to cheer her up and make her feel better!

He continued chatting and laughing with Pamela.

"That's great, being self-reliant. If you ever start streaming, let me know, and I'll support you." Charles replied.
"Really? Charles, you're so kind!"
As she spoke, Pamela already linked her arm with Charles's.
Her smiling face, hot body, and pretty face attracted the attention of many passing students.
At this moment, a tall, fair-skinned, gentle-looking, and handsome guy, about 70 inches tall, walked towards Pamela and Charles with a face full of anger.
His eyes were bloodshot, looking betrayed and deceived.
"Pamela, didn't you say you were getting your nails done with your best friend today? Why did you lie to me, and who is this guy?" The boy asked.
"Michael Nelson, who I'm with is none of your business. You're not my boyfriend."
"But you agreed to watch a movie with me a few days ago. Why did you go back on your word? Do all girls' words mean nothing? Pamela, I've been chasing you for half a year, why do you always ignore me? Am I just a backup to you?"
Michael looked devastated, with tears welled up in his eyes.

Even the sketch Pamela gave him was casually thrown into the trash can by him.

In a while, Pamela picked up the sketch from the trash can.
