Chapter 184 Keyboard Warrior

"What the heck are you doing, Snow?" Charles tried to gently push her away.

Sure, it felt awesome being hugged by the campus queen, but he had to think about the fallout!

His rep at school was already in the dumps.

This would totally wreck him!

"Don't push me away, just let me hold you a bit longer!" Snow pressed against his chest, her voice all soft and sweet.

She'd been waiting for Charles for over six hours, and the moment she saw him, she just lost it!

She almost bit the dust last night.

Charles, a true hero, blocked the robber's blade with his hand at the last second, becoming a lighthouse in the dark, illuminating her chaotic world.

That light gave her hope, made her feel warm, and kept the fear away during those lonely nights!

She was like a drowning person, clinging to the last straw!

Since she had some serious childhood trauma, when she really fell for someone and felt safe, her reaction was off the charts!

The colder someone is, the more they crave love deep down!

A bunch of guys watching were fuming.

"Charles, that jerk, did he save the galaxy in his past life? Why do all the hot girls dig him? I don't get it!"

"Is Snow blind? Doesn't she know how many girls Charles has messed around with? Just at our school, there's Lisa, Pamela, Jessica, Emily, that's four already, and now even the top campus queen is into him. What's so great about this scumbag?"

"I wanna punch him, who's with me?"

"Dude, you're brave, go for it!"

Anyone at school who knew a bit about Charles had heard of his wild track record.

Just as the guys were gossiping, a thunderclap boomed in the sky.

Soon, it started pouring.

Charles had no choice but to take Snow back to dorm 503 to dodge the rain.

Lately, during the rainy season, it seemed to every other day, flooding a bunch of places and leaving some low-lying areas underwater.

Charles was super annoyed.

This year's rain was crazy heavy, it might even flood the whole city!

Snow didn't seem shy at all after getting to the boys' dorm.

Instead, Jesse, Robert, and Tom were the ones freaking out!

"Sit anywhere, just chill on my bed, I'll get you some water!" Charles said casually.

Then he poured Snow a glass of water from a bottle he'd already drunk from.

Snow obediently sat on Charles's bed and took a few sips without any hesitation.

In the boys' dorm, they had bunk beds and usually didn't bother cleaning up, with dirty clothes, smelly socks, and underwear all over the place!

After Snow showed up at 503, the three roommates immediately started cleaning up.

"Charles, are these all your dirty clothes?" Snow asked.

"Yeah!"

"Your hand's hurt, it's a hassle for you, let me wash them for you!"

"Whatever!"

Hearing their convo, Jesse, Robert, and Tom looked at Charles like he was a god.

Unbelievable!

The top campus queen of Lacus Magnus University, the ice-cold idol in every guy's dreams, actually offered to wash his clothes?

How the heck did he pull that off?

Was this still the same aloof and arrogant Snow?

Was this still the former student council president everyone worshipped?

They felt like they were living in some kind of alternate reality.

Charles didn't think much of it.

There was a washing machine in the dorm building, and all he usually had to do was toss his clothes in and let it spin.

The only hassle was waiting, 'cause the machine was always in use.

Charles figured Snow would use the washing machine, but she actually hand-washed them, even his underwear!

Now that was awkward!

The three roommates were already floored seeing Snow wash Charles's underwear!

The top campus queen, washing my roommate's underwear?

Why was Charles so amazing? He must be doing this just to make them feel bad.

"Hey, don't hand-wash them, there's a washing machine outside!" Charles tried to suggest.

"Don't move, the school's washing machines are used by you boys interchangeably, it's not very hygienic, especially for intimate clothing. There aren't many pieces anyway, I'll be done soon!" Snow insisted.

She didn't know what was up with her.

Maybe she felt she owed Charles.

Whether it was the life-saving thing, the past misunderstandings, or whatever, she always felt she should do something to make up for the guilt in her heart!

Charles was loaded, he definitely didn't need money.

In other aspects, Charles didn't seem to lack anything either!

Coincidentally, washing clothes was something she could do!

But what seemed like a small thing to her was enough to make the roommates question their lives!

How many girls these days would be willing to wash clothes for a guy?

"Charles, you didn't come back all night yesterday, what were you doing, were you with Snow?" Tom asked in a low voice.

"Sort of, but it's not what you think!"

"I get it!" Tom nodded knowingly.

If a girl was willing to wash a guy's clothes, their relationship must be something special.

Considering Charles didn't come back last night, he could pretty much guess what happened!

While Charles' dorm was buzzing.

In another boys' dorm.

Sam, wearing black-framed glasses, was in pain.

He couldn't believe Snow would like Charles!

Why would girls rather be hurt by a douchebag than look at a good guy like him?

Wasn't Sam excellent?

Maybe in reality, he was just another gaming addict.

But online, he was a keyboard warrior who could stir up a storm!

Last time, he wasn't specifically targeting Charles.

No beef, so no need to go too hard.

Even when Pamela publicly fought him, he didn't formally respond.

And the campus forum was a small place, not many people paid attention.

However, this time, he wouldn't hold back!
