"I overheard the head of the Hank family on the phone. They hired a PI to look into Mr. Smoke, and they got so scared they called it off right away. It even freaked me out!"
Everyone was stunned!
'The Hank family is a big deal in Seattle. With assets worth hundreds of millions, they're top-tier. If the head of Hank Corporation gets scared just by investigating Mr. Smoke, how powerful must Mr. Smoke be?' The more they thought about it, the scarier it seemed!

Hearing this, Alex nodded. "I don't know if hidden families are real, but I believe there are always people more powerful than you can imagine. Some families are crazy rich and low-key. Mr. Smoke might be one of them!"
Gordon nodded too.
