Daniel hit up Charles for a ride.

"Sure thing!" Alice and April nodded, snagging a table and diving into the menu.
The BBQ joint was hopping.
Once Charles bounced, a bunch of dudes started eyeing Alice and April's table.

"No thanks! My boyfriend's on his way, so you don't need to cover us. We don't even know you!" Alice shot back firmly.
Seeing through his game, she felt a wave of disgust, especially since April had just pulled the same move to get Charles's Facebook.
"Miss, you got me wrong. I just wanna be friends. You two are so gorgeous, you could totally make it in the entertainment biz. I know a director you should meet!" The suave guy wasn't fazed by Alice's rejection. He stayed cool and chatty.
He pointed to another dude who had rolled in with him.
April glanced over and spotted a familiar face.
"Oh my God, is that Cindy? It really is Cindy! He's a genius director!" April exclaimed.
"Sorry, not interested in the entertainment biz. And your buddy Cindy's got a sketchy rep, so please leave. My boyfriend's on his way, and trust me, you don't want any trouble when he gets here!" Alice shot back, no-nonsense.
She couldn't care less about the entertainment industry that so many girls drooled over.
Being a star? Just another gig to make money. Alice was already rolling in it with a net worth of $400 million. She owned a building that raked in $10 million a year in rent, not to mention her shares in Oceanic Trade Ventures.
