As long as Charles kept his cool, it was Roxy who'd end up feeling awkward! Charles looked totally chill and confident. His argument was so solid that Roxy couldn't come up with a comeback right away.
"Roxy, maybe you should listen to Charles. Your health comes first!" Amy chimed in supportively.
Despite this, Roxy still held onto her suspicions. She asked Charles, "Are you sure acupuncture can fix my problem? Don't mess with me. I know I have a congenital heart disease, and usually, it needs surgery, which isn't always successful!"
"One session won't completely cure you," Charles explained. "Your heart vessels are blocked, and your arterial valve isn't closing right. I suggest you come to me every two weeks. In about six months, you should be good to go!"
"Six months? And I have to come to you every two weeks?" Roxy frowned even more. According to Charles, she'd have to undress in front of him every two weeks?
Undressing once was already super embarrassing, and now she had to do it so many times? Roxy was indeed a lesbian, but she still felt shy. Undressing in front of a guy was too much and made her feel a bit gross.
"Of course, if you don't believe me, you can leave now. I'm not gonna force you!" Charles said coldly.
He was a legendary healer now. Why should he lower himself to beg to treat her? Just because she was pretty didn't mean everyone would flatter her!
Charles's expression and attitude made Roxy a bit unhappy, but his diagnosis was spot on. Without any instruments, he could tell her heart vessels were blocked and her arterial valve wasn't closing right, which matched the hospital's diagnosis.
Roxy began to believe Charles a bit. Could he really be that good? She didn't trust him mainly because he was so young. A young guy being both a sprinter and a doctor seemed a bit sketchy! In the medical field, the older you were, the more respect you got. Older doctors gave people a sense of experience and reliability.
"Alright then, I'll undress! But you have to let Amy stay here with me. That's not too much to ask, right? Even in big hospitals, when male doctors examine female patients, there's always a female nurse present," Roxy insisted.
"Okay!" Charles nodded. Having a girl around could actually help.
Roxy regained her composure and sat on the examination bed, slowly unbuttoning her top.
Today, she was representing the Syeattel Music Academy's cheerleading team, so she was wearing the uniform, which looked very sexy. Combined with her beautiful appearance and sexy figure, it made Charles a bit excited.
An hour later, after Charles finished the treatment, Roxy felt completely refreshed. The palpitations and irregular heartbeat she had experienced were entirely gone.

"I feel great. I haven't felt this good in forever!" Roxy said, looking relaxed.
"But Charles, you were treating my heart disease, so why were most of the needles placed on my head? What's the deal with that?" Roxy asked curiously.
"Well, it's kinda complicated and hard to explain quickly. In short, the head and the heart are closely connected. Let's leave it at that for today. Come back in two weeks for another session!" Charles said, getting ready to leave.
Actually, with Charles's current level of skill, which had reached the level of a master physician, it would only take him ten minutes to clear Roxy's heart vessels.
The reason he took an hour was that Charles used some methods to stimulate Roxy's pituitary gland in the remaining fifty minutes. Then with some auxiliary medication later, it should make her stop liking girls and start to develop an interest in men.
If Roxy ended up leaving Amy because of this, wouldn't Charles become the villain who broke up a pure love?
