Chapter 130 All Eyes on the Scene

Charles looked unimpressed.

He figured the guy driving the Pagani Huayra must have some serious connections and power.

So that was all there was to it.

"The Sullivan Family's background is similar to the Gordon family's. And you're not even the main heir; you're just the second kid? If your older brother were here, he wouldn't dare act so cocky in front of me," he muttered under his breath, looking clearly unimpressed.

The girl, clearly a die-hard fan of Alfonso, bristled at Charles's words. "What do you mean by 'just that'? Your attitude is really arrogant. You even look down on the second son of the Sullivan family. Come on, tell us your name, let's see if you have the right to be so arrogant!"

Seeing Charles look down on Alfonso, she got upset.

"You loser, you get jealous when you see others doing well. You have no skills yourself, yet you look down on others? People like you are the worst! If you have the ability, why don't you try driving a multi-million-dollar luxury car?"

"Listen carefully, my name is Charles!" Charles spat out these words and turned to leave. "This Alfonso isn't qualified to be arrogant in front of me!"

"Charles, you're Charles?" The girl seemed to realize something upon hearing his name. She had heard of Charles. "I’ve heard of you. Lately, you've been making waves around campus. They say you’ve even become an internet celebrity, and the Campus Princess, Jessica, seems to think highly of you. But still, just because you’re getting some attention doesn’t mean you’re on the same level as the first Campus Prince, right?"

She scoffed, rolling her eyes at him. "Ugh, what's so great about being an internet celebrity anyway? Alfonso’s playing basketball today, and I'd rather watch him. I heard there's a big game at the school gym!"

With that, she turned and hurried off, clearly more interested in Alfonso's game than in continuing the conversation. Charles watched her go, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Let's see what makes this so-called Campus Prince so impressive," he muttered to himself, deciding to follow her to the gym. He was curious to see how Alfonso measured up on the court—and if the guy was truly worthy of all the hype.

As Charles entered the bustling school gym, he was met with the noise and excitement of a packed crowd. The spacious basketball hall was teeming with energy, with five or six hundred people crammed into the stands, the majority of them girls. They filled more than seventy percent of the seats, eagerly awaiting the game.

Alfonso made his entrance onto the court, freshly changed into his uniform. His strikingly handsome appearance set off a wave of excitement, causing countless girls to scream in adoration.

"Wow, Alfonso is so handsome!"

"Look, Alfonso is finally on the court. Not only does he have the looks and the family background, but he's also the star of the school basketball team. I just don't get why he’s into Snow, the ice queen. Why doesn’t he notice me?" A pretty girl lamented.

"Alfonso, I love you!"

"Alfonso, I want to have your babies!"

The gym was alive with the frenzied cheers and declarations of affection from the girls. They were completely captivated by Alfonso.

Charles just couldn't understand. "What's so handsome about him? He's not even as handsome as me! He's just a bit more muscular, taller, has a cooler hairstyle, and looks a bit like a celebrity from the entertainment industry? Does that make him super handsome? The aesthetic standards of this generation of girls are really getting worse!"

Charles couldn't help but complain.

Although Charles remained unimpressed with Alfonso, the excitement in the gym was undeniable. The girls’ enthusiastic cheers echoed through the hall, rising and falling like waves as the basketball game officially began.

Alfonso joined Leo's team. Leo was not only the captain of the school track team, but he was also a member of the school basketball team, proficient in both basketball and sprinting.

Because he was fast and explosive, Leo was aggressive when charging with the ball. But every time he got it, he passed to Alfonso. Gotta admit, the first Campus Prince had skills. With Leo's help, Alfonso's three-step layups were smooth, and his three-point shots were on point. He came in midway, and in just ten minutes, he had managed to help his previously losing team tie the score.

The gym's atmosphere heated up.

"Another goal! Leo and Alfonso's teamwork is perfect!"

"Alfonso is so handsome. I wasn't a fan before, but now I'm in love!"

"Hey! Isn't that Charles? He's here too!"

Finally, someone recognized Charles. He was a well-known figure at school now, so it wasn't surprising. Many knew about the conflict between Leo and Charles. With Leo and Alfonso getting close, it seemed Charles was going to stand against the first Campus Prince!

As time went on, more people filled the gym. Today's game really drew a crowd. Before long, Lisa walked in holding Lily's hand. She froze for a moment when she saw Charles, then looked surprised.

Just a minute later, Pamela walked in holding another girl's hand. Charles had seen this girl before; she worked part-time at Pamela's family's internet café. Pamela also noticed Charles. When she saw Lisa, they exchanged glares.

"Charles, you're here too? What a coincidence!" Before Lisa and Pamela could speak, another girl with a slim waist, long legs, and a voluptuous figure ran towards Charles, surprised. This girl was also very beautiful.

"Emily? Isn't she here to watch Leo play? Why is she talking to Charles? Isn't she afraid Leo will get jealous?"

"That's old news. Leo and Emily broke up. Now Emily likes Charles. I heard Leo even fought Charles over this and lost!"

"Really? That’s some juicy drama."

"Wait, isn't that Lisa and Pamela? They also seem to have some unclear relationship with Charles?"

While the onlookers were buzzing, an even more unbelievable scene happened! The renowned beauty of the School of Arts, Jessica, walked in holding the hand of Lacus Magnus University's first Campus Princess, Student Council President Snow. The atmosphere in the gym exploded with excitement.

Charles was dumbfounded. 'My luck is off today. All these girls interested in me are here. This is a disaster. Is this what they call the ultimate chaotic situation? Maybe... I should sneak away before things get worse?'

The tension in the gym was overwhelming, almost suffocating.

"Charles, so you're here. I wanted to ask what you were doing yesterday. You didn't even return my call at night!" Jessica, holding Snow's hand, came up to Charles and asked coquettishly.

Charles felt a shiver run down his spine. All the boys were staring at him with intense killing intent. If looks could kill, Charles would have died at least two hundred times by now.

What had started as a simple visit to the gym had now spiraled into something far more complicated. He found himself surrounded by seven stunning and well-built girls—Lisa, Lily, Pamela, Emily, Jessica, Snow, and Pamela's friend. And to make matters worse, among them were Jessica and Snow, the top two Campus Princesses.

All eyes were on them.
