Chapter 051: You're Really Hopeless
"Charles, who are you texting?" Daniel asked.
"I'm arranging an actor for you. Tomorrow, you should ask Michelle out and have a good talk with her. I promise to make you feel confident in front of her!" Charles said confidently.
"Will that really work?"
"Of course! To help you regain your confidence, I even borrowed a car for you!"
Daniel thought Charles had just borrowed an ordinary car. He didn't hold out much hope. But since it was a kind gesture from his friend, he didn't feel the need to refuse. Besides, he indeed wanted to have a good talk with Michelle. Six years of relationship deserved some closure.
That night, Charles didn't return to the dorm. He stayed with Daniel, drinking until 1 AM. Charles was fine, because his physical fitness had improved, and his alcohol tolerance had increased. They found a hotel and slept there for the night.
At 10 AM the next day, an unknown number called.
"Hello, is this Mr. Smoke? I'm Gordon, a friend of Emperor Dragon. You can call me Gordon!"
"Gordon! Are you here to deliver the car?" Charles asked casually.
"Yes, Mr. Smoke. Your actions on Dragon Tooth Live yesterday left me speechless. It's an honor to meet someone as wealthy as you!" Gordon sounded like a fan meeting his idol. He was very humble, with none of the arrogance typical of a rich second-generation heir.

"Okay, Michelle, I have time. I also have things I want to tell you!"
"12 PM at Leaf Coffeehouse, see you there," Michelle hung up after informing him of the location.
Charles shook his head helplessly. This guy's girlfriend cheated on him, and he's still being so nice.
"Charles, I've thought it through. I still want to win Michelle back. I can't lose her!" Daniel said with determination.
"Damn! You're hopeless!"
