We’re sitting in the back of Massimo’s Escalade with Luca behind the wheel. I’m in my own world processing the last 24 hours and Massimo’s confession about his dominant tendencies, will I be able to handle it I thought to myself. Massimo was still holding my hand and with his other hand he was scrolling through his e-mails. By the look of it, there was a lot. “Don’t you have an assistant to help you with those e-mails” I asked him
“It’s difficult to get an assistant that I can trust in my line of work Bella, it will make my life much easier I must admit”. He told me Should I tell him I was trained as an assistant and then a personal assistant? But that will drag me deeper into his world and he will take over sooner. Because if there is one thing I learned about Massimo the past 24 Hrs was that he will take over he’s just taking it slow with me.
“Why do you ask Bella are you volunteering? He said with a smile “No, I’m just curious that’s all”. I told him.
“Spend the day with me tomorrow Bella” He demanded. “I have plans Massimo I can’t I’m sorry”.
“What plans? I hope it’s not with the ‘friends’ of Friday night otherwise I would first ask you not to go and then tell you not to go if you don’t want to listen”.
“No Massimo it’s not with them, but you can’t blame them for what happened”
“I can and I will” he said
I decided there and then I’m not going to tell him that I recognized the guy from the train and that he was actually creeping me out, because if I tell him, he will demand that I have a bodyguard and a driver. And I’m still enjoying my freedom I know he said he’s not taking away my freedom just keeping me safe but it will feel, like I’m back in a cage.
“What are your plans Bella?” he insisted. I answer him. “I have an appointment to look at a apartment at 1 pm and I have plans with Herman and Sally.” I lied about Herman and Sally, I just needed time for myself to think about everything he said and what it meant for me.
“Where is the apartment?” he asked “In the same building I’m living in know”. I explained
“Bella please don’t sign anything for an apartment yet, go have a look but let’s just see what happens this week” He pleaded I’m getting the idea asking and pleading is not his thing but he is trying to take it slow with me.
“Are you so sure about the Ricci family?” I asked him
“Unfortunately I am Bella, I’m sorry about it, I really am. I’m not use to ask or plead Bella but I’m pleading with you please don’t sign anything. Go and have a look an tell them you’ll think about it”.
“Okay Massimo if it’s that important to you I will just have a look”. I promised him.
“Thank you Bella, now if I can’t see you tomorrow then have dinner with me Monday and stay over Monday night. I can make a good case for you for sleeping over.” He said
“I’m sure you can Massimo” I laughed “Do you want me to make my case or will you accept?” he smiled at me. “I’ll have dinner with you Massimo.”
“And” he asked “and "I’ll stay over”.
“Thank you Bella, I promise you won’t regret it”. Massimo said, he leaned in and gave me an earth-shaking kiss.
“We’re here” Luca informed us.
“Come Bella let me walk you to the door”.
“It’s not necessary Massimo”.
“What kind of man do you think I am Bella? I’ll make sure my girl gets to the front door safely.”

I wanted to walk my girl to the front door, yes. But my main reason for walking her to the door was to look at the security of the building while Luca was looking at the outside of the building. What I saw made my blood boil, there was no security not even a doorman, not a lock on the front door of the building anyone can walk in. I was ready to throw her over my shoulder and take her back to my place but I know that will scare her off so I had to put a smile on my face and look happy that I’m leaving her here, unprotected. When we got to the door, I tilted her chin up and covered her left side of her face with mine and pulled her to me with my right hand at her lower back and crushed my lips to hers. She opened immediately I kissed her like I’m not going to see her for weeks but what pleased me was that she was kissing me right back. I will have you in my bed every night Bella you just wait, I will have you. I thought to myself.
I pulled away and said. “See you Monday My Bella”. And left.
When we got back to the car Luca and I talked about the security of the building.
“Luca how’s the security around the building?”
“There’s no security sir and easy access to the apartments with the emergency staircase.”
“Luca first thing Monday morning I want a name of someone that can monitor Rachel they need to be discreet, she can’t know someone is watching her. I would prefer that person to start tomorrow but I do understand that will not be possible”.
“Yes sir, I’ll choose one of the men we already have that will be quicker and we will know we can trust him.”
We drove into the secure parking area of my club Elegante and Enzo and Davide came to us at the car. Something was wrong they don’t normally do this. I got out of my Escalade
“What is wrong Enzo, Davide?”
“One of containers of cocaine has been stolen, we just got the news”. Davide said
“Fuck, Cazzo! Do we know who?” I screamed
“The Ricci’s sir” Enzo said
